Weird and disappointing. If I'm paying $30 for an entree that doesn't include a salad, I have expectations for service and food quality. Both were sorely lacking. The service was not horrible, but not good either. We ordered an appetizer and cocktail. The appetizer never arrived before our meals were served, so we canceled the order, although they tried to charge us for it anyway. Next I ordered a glass of wine to go with dinner, which arrived after I was over half done with my meal. The food was mediocre. The most bizarre part was my daughter's Alfredo that had a huge sheet of of melted cheese. It was not actually incorporated into the sauce, was certainly not parmesan, making me wonder what this "Alfredo" actually was. The other entrees were meh. Nine if this was due to being understaffed because we overheard them talking about sending people home. All of this is sad because this used to be a great restaurant. Now they are trying to be something they are not. If I'd paid half as much as I did, I still would have been disappointed, but this was the worse $150+ (for four) meal we've had in years. read more

My favorites here are their appetizers, they have a very delicious goat cheese with a marinara sauce. It's what I always come back for! It isn't usually very busy and has a cozy atmosphere with the fireplace in the background. The service is pretty fast and usually friendly. read more

Food, service,ambiance all fine. Unique experience though. I had pizza, my wife had grilled salmon. We had a cup of soup and 2 sodas. My wife wanted grilled halibut,which was a dinner special, but since 2 pm, and chef could not prepare halibut till 5pm,so chef said no. Bill came to $ 38, but waiter forgot to add $ 12 for drinks and soup. When I brought this to his attention, he said he would not charge for these to offset disappointment over the halibut. He then amazingly took the bill back and added back to the bill the $12, now coming to $ 51. Moral of this story is honesty sometimes leaves you more confused than ever. The decor is going for elegant, feels a little 90's grandma but still higher end for the town. Service was great - maybe even a little too fast, but very professional. We had the baked goat cheese, french onion soup and the grilled corn and poblano salad. The goat cheese and french onion soup were quite good. I'm a bit of a french onion soup snob so I was surprised to find a good one in Logan, UT. The salad was not so great. There weren't any poblanos in it, the added blackened chicken was bland and the dressing was too oily with no flavor. Pass on that one. Their beer and wine selection were decent. read more

This was such an amazing for us. We had a party of 7 and the hostess Annabelle was kind enough to find us a table without a reservation on a Saturday evening. We had Marcus as our server and he was amazing as well. The food was delicious and the cocktails were as well! We were just in Logan for a track meet and that was the first place we saw on the list of restaurants and I am so glad we got to experience this. Good food and atmosphere. Try the specials. They are always good. Especially like the steaks and fish, and never leave without an order of the bread pudding. One note: the bar is slow and the drinks are sub par. On the expensive side for this valley. read more

Whether your a local or visiting Logan Elements Restaurant is the place to be for a fine dining meal. They are conveniently located nearby hotels (if you're visiting), we walked there each night for dinner. The service is phenomenal, they have a full bar and the menu changes seasonally. It has been a couple of years since we last visited Elements for a dinner. Good service and food are still available. We miss the bread basket that used to come with the meal but we think it's a sign of the times. We ordered a side of flat bread to go with our meal and it was delicious. Charged us $50 dallors more than the bill was. The fish was grossly over cooked after waiting over fourty minutes for our meal. After my husband tried to fix the bill he had to yell and argued with the front desk and the manager to get the fifty dallors refunded. read more

I was a bit worried about the reviews and was a bit hesitant to go out to dinner here tonight to celebrate our anniversary...but it was a wonderful experience. They were busy on the patio so we chose to sit inside and almost had the entire place to ourselves. It was quiet and intimate...my husband made the comment they should have had some soft music playing and I agree. We had been giving a gift card so we splurged more than we normally would have. We ordered a virgin pina colada to share and it was delicious...yummy!! But a bit too much ice. We got the BBQ Shrimp appetizer as well as a pepperoni pizza that came out the same time as our salads. My hubs got the chopped salad and I got the wonton napa. I lived mine!! It was crunchy and refreshing but warning it has a kick! Cleared my sinuses out but it was tasty and different. My husband liked his as well. The bread basket they brought as well was great with an assortment of breads and we ate all of it:) The shrimp and pizza were great!! My hubs got the Chicken Madeira with garlic mashed and I got the Filet Mignon Trio with garlic mashed...oooooh yum!! I made the right choice. My husband's was very good but mine was phenomenal!! Loooved it. I got it medium and it was tender and perfect! I love the one topped with crab Oscar the best...mmm. But each were fantastic. The potatoes were wonderful as well. Our server was sweet and did a great job. For all of that food and specialty drink out bill was $75 and some change. Which totally is not bad for all the food and the quality but far more than we would normally spend for the 2 of us. We ate here to celebrate my daughter's graduation from USU--there were six adults and a baby on a Friday night. We made reservations to ensure we wouldn't have to wait for a table. Stewart was a great waiter. He explained the specials and regular menu items. We got their 4 courses for $49 deals--1 appetizer/2 salads or soups/2 entrees/2 desserts. So basically desserts were free compared to buying each course a la carte. All the food was delicious! We got onion rings with a delicious spicy sauce, lettuce wraps and calamari for appetizers; chopped salads, spinach salads, Asian salads and tomato bisque; mahi mahi, salmon, roast chicken, filet medallions and steak pasta for entrees; then chocolate soufflé and creme brulee with berries for desserts. My son loved the Italian sodas. My daughter has been there for $2 tacos on Tuesdays and tried their burgers on the lunch menu. They have pizza specials on Monday nights. I went here with the family. We all loved it so much and will definitely go again. Here is what we got: chipotle chicken sandwich, stuffed chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes, seared salmon, and the flank steak. All of it was amazing. Loved the flavors. Every time I go, I swear I'll never go back but somehow give in to peer pressure every now and then. With that beautiful patio seating, it's a shame they can't get the rest of their act together. Won't seat more than six at a table (or even near each other) without having to rent a banquet room, then require reservations a week or two in advance for that. Overall very impressed about Elements! We sat outside and it was lovely to sit outside while its still warm outside but not hot! We kept running out of water because there were 6 of us but other than that it was great! I tried the Veggie Thai Curry and WOW it was yummy but quite a bit more spicy than I was expecting! The air fried pickles were delicious. I drank an Iced Masala Chai with almond milk and was impressed about how delightful it was! My friend had the halibut and ate her whole plate! A couple of people tried the Chicken Cordon Blue and also cleaned their plates! I would love to see more vegetarian/vegan options on the menu especially since Logan is growing pretty quickly but I do appreciate that they had the Thai Curry on the menu. read more

Beautiful space but operations is a wreck. Server was extremely sweet but was overwhelmed due to lack of staff. Restaurant was 70 percent empty but things were still a mess. Had reservations but still took 20 minutes to be seated. Food came out cold--one dish (NY strip, $37) had to be sent back. Came back microwaved instead of properly heated. Another dish (fettucine alfredo, $15) was lukewarm--lumps of cheese that had not melted were still in the dish. Not sure I would return on my next trip here. NOPE! I have nothing positive to say about this restaurant other than it looks nice from the street, and they are one of the few places in Cache Valley with a liquor license. I have been roped into eating here for two social gatherings. Extremely overpriced for extremely sub-par food. The atmosphere is ok, both times I ate here the tables were sticky and the service was slow and they made mistakes with people's orders. The first time I ordered a butternut sage ravioli - thick, over cooked pasta, very heavy and bland, grossly overpriced. The second time I attempted to order something less expensive, a hamburger - the price of which could have afforded about 4 hamburger combos of better quality at some other greasy diner or national chain in town. For some reason this place has an undeserved prestige that ropes in poor, unsuspecting teenagers on prom dates and hopeful groups of people trying to procure a luxurious dining experience. Take my advice, go somewhere, anywhere, else. UPDATE: After my disappointing experience I was personally messaged by this business with a pretty salty response, without any indication of genuinely wanting to improve. Darn it! I took my wife here for a rare date night. The total bill was 101.00 so we expected greatness. Lets get right to it. My wife ordered filet 3 ways. In her words "it wasnt terrible, but ive had way better". I am a chef by trade, and have been for 15 years. The entry way has Spice and Ice awards won by the Executive Chef. They advertise as fine dining, american cuisine. Ironically the menu features very little american cuisine, and mostly mediocre, after thought, easy to prepare italian fare. The filet was an embarrassment. Ordered medium rare and served medium well (given our wait time it likely sat under the heat lamps and over cooked for at least 15 min). The 3 preperations were 3 overcooked filet medallions with 3 different sides. Hardly 3 ways. At least change the spice rubs, cook 1 sous vide, something. The sweet potato mash tasted of white granulated sugar... Not even the rich molasses flavor of brown sugar. Lazy and not thought out describes the dish as a whole. I had a Ribeye. I wont even touch the sides in this review as they were the same offering as my wife had with her dish. Again I ordered it medium rare. It was served undercooked and rare. Why is this a problem? A well marbled ribeye needs time in the pan to render the fat and ribboning. The steak i received was again a total embarrassment. I wanted to go get my Wuhsthof knives just to cut the unrendered tendons and fat. I love ribeye... And feel bad for the cow who gave his life to be completely disrespected by an untrained line cook in a lazy kitchen. If you want mediocre and over priced food, this is the place for you. It is no secret Logan is pretty scarcely populated with technically trained kitchens, but a restaurant charging these prices and passing themselves off as fine "american" cuisine and serving its customers this level of horrible must be avoided out of pure principle. I am sincerely sorry Elements, you over charged us and left us with, literally, a bad taste in our mouths. Could the dessert save them? Who can mess up Lavendar creme brulee? Well it tasted ok, but the 4 table spoons of burnt (not caramelized) sugar turned me off. The martini was good though. read more

Updated 2021. Lots of changes in staff over the years have taken Elements off our dining menu. I took some clients there last summer and it was fantastic, they seemed to be weathering the covid challenge just fine. A few months later we went back, and the service and food were not good, and the place had no ambiance. It was in the teens outside and freezing inside. We couldn't wait to get back to the warmth of our car. We haven't gone back since. I'm waiting to hear from reliable sources that they have figured it out and that the food and service are consistently worth the price tag. read more

Quality food all around. The bartenders are super friendly and attentive. The deep blue is one of my favorite drinks. The lobster bisque comes out hot and with chucks of lobster. And my go to meal is the Thai Shrimp Curry. Plenty of shrimp with plenty of spices and herbs. read more

I went to the restaurant in March. The design of the restaurant is nice, the food was ok but not great. The reason for the one star is that I called the restaurant over the amount they billed me for the transaction. The amount was almost double what the receipt shows I should have been charged. I left a message for the manager giving her the details of the transaction, the wrong amount, the server Erin's name and the receipt information. I was called back by another lady named Erin who told me that she was a different Erin from my server and that her manager told her to call me. She then said in a very rude voice that "you waited way too long so there is nothing we can do. Call your bank." I told her that I just recently saw the transaction and the apparent fraudulent charge and thought that they should be able to do something to correct the charge. She replied that I waited too long again, in a very snotty voice. She then hung up on me. I don't recommend this restaurant and suggest that anyone that goes there verifies what you are charged vs what you should have been. Also don't count on the manager to fix your issue. read more

Great food! Recommend the salmon. The fish and chips are great too. (Halibut). Very nice ambiance as well and not noisy like so many restaurants. Recommend for any nice date, get together with friends or even a business lunch where you want to be able to hear each other. read more

I was in town on business and dinner with my co-workers one evening turned out to be a hit or miss proposition. Hits: Dishes like the Kamakazi Salmon were well liked. I had the roast chicken which was *slightly* under done but was flavorful. My roast chicken with creamed potatoes was a little greasy, but awfully yummy. Our server was pretty energetic and friendly. Prices seemed pretty reasonable for a higher end restaurant, but then I'm from the Bay Area where everything is super expensive. Misses: They got a couple orders wrong, one person got a skirt steak that looked pretty bad and apparently didn't taste much better. Give the place credit for trying to make things up by giving us free desserts. There's been many company dinners at Elements, and the evening ended with various people recalling other nights at Elements where orders were missed or screwed up. That's not a conversation any restaurant wants to host. I'd go back again and I'm sure plenty of people have had really nice dinners there. But I think it's worth checking out other places in town.
