$19 Gorgonzola Pasta with "tenderloin" scraps.
    Bryan J.

When I saw the "tenderloin" (more like odds and ends steak trimmings) of my Gorgonzola Pasta ($19) I was vastly underwhelmed, but a well balanced Gorgonzola cream sauce and perfectly cooked penne pasta helped mostly even it out. But my wife's Seared Salmon ($21) was perfectly cooked--still translucent inside--and seemed a far better value of quality for cost than my pasta. My son went for the Red Chimichurri Flank Steak ($28) that was also delicious and prepared really well. But the $4 cup of add-on Lobster Bisque tasted more like assorted shellfish trimmings-- not inedible but not amazing either. The vanilla bean vinaigrette on the Summer Berry Salad ($14) was a pleasant surprise hit with my son's partner, but her $12 add-on of Blackened Salmon for it was unmasterfully overcooked for the thinner portion cut. Overall a poorer value for $26 compared with the Seared Salmon plate (a narrower, thicker portion). Elements is probably a better meal choice for the $30-40/person base range of their menu offerings-- and will obviously push higher with alcohol service. (The $15 Empress gin and Chambord Bartender's Roulette cocktail we ordered was pretty well prepared.) Perhaps even better a destination when the elements of weather suit sitting outside near the river overlook -- would help make up for zero table bread service offered; very odd for a "near fine dining" restaurant and menu. Otherwise on a rainy autumn evening, our tight-quartered, bouncy bistro booth was adequate but not great ambiance. 3.5-4 stars

    Salmon - great!

For my elites, this is definitely not a 5 star restaurant. 4 max. Quality is good. If you're in Logan for sure try it out, but don't go out of your way. We started with the ahi tuna appetizer. This was great, we all loved it, wish it was a little bigger. The salmon entree was everyone's favorite, perfectly cooked and the vegetables were flavorful and crisp, loved the sauce. The grilled corn poblano salad add salmon. The zest and crunch of the salad was yummy, again Salmon was delish! Bison burger - this was good, a big portion of meat, it was just a little dry, we needed to add fry sauce. Fries are good. Cookie skillet was delicious, just wish it was bigger and thicker. But definitely hit the spot.

This restaurant is conveniently located right next to the Springhill Suites, so it makes an easy meal while staying at the hotel. They offer a variety of menu items, a little something for everyone. My mom and I opted to sit outside on the patio and I fully recommend doing that if the weather is good. There's a beautiful stream that flows along the property with lush, green trees all around it. Just for that alone, I'd return. The food was just ok. I had the mushroom steak and found that the butter sauce was a little overwhelming and the flavor of the meat was lacking. I didn't much care for the overly sweet sauce on the carrots, either. However, this could just be personal preference; I'd try something else next time. Service was also ok. After we got seated, I realized we were there about an hour before closing, which I try not to do. But they took care of us professionally and didn't rush us.

    Stuffed founder with saffron risotto

Our last visit was on Valentine's day which is a challenge for any restaurant. We had a great experience. They had a reduced menu given the increased traffic. We ordered the baseball steak, which is normal on their menu, though it looked more like a filet than a baseball shape it normal does. The stuffed founder was a special and I would prefer it again if they add it to the menu. You can always expect a outstanding meal here!

Even the way the chairs are set at the table is artistic and interesting to look at

We have been trying to find a proper VERY nice restaurant after moving here six years ago. A good friend suggested "elements". We went for an early Valentines lunch. It was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself was beautiful, very clean, wonderful ambience and the service was excellent. We ordered the stuffed chicken, onion soup, half salad, and the burger. All four were beautifully plated, and delicious. Highly recommend. A great place to take clients that you want to impress, or a date, or celebrating wonderful anniversaries, and birthdays. We loved all of it.

I've been to some nice restaurants all over the country, and yeah, Elements can't compete with a lot of them, but considering the area and demographics of the area, Elements is outstanding and I'd come again and again and again. The food was outstanding. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was great. The steak was cooked exactly the way I requested, and the sauce for the steak was fantastic. My wife loved the salmon, and she can be pretty finicky with her seafood. The bread pudding was incredible. Moist, not too sweet, it was perfect. Between the two of us, including tip, it was $100, not really all that bad for a full shabang. Come to elements, if it's been a few years since you've tried, you'll be pleasantly surprised, as was I.

    seared salmon on coconut rice
    Candice S.

I decided to try this restaurant based on another review that said how peaceful it was to sit by the river while dining, watching ducks waddle by. However, I was here after an unusally lengthy winter and now the snowpack was melting. The river was a roaring torrent. Even the walking path was under water. And no ducks. Nonetheless, dinner was pretty good and the service excellent. There is no table bread offered but for a small sum I got six pie-shaped slices of warm flatbread sprinkled with garlic and fresh parmesan. For the entree, I chose the seared salmon on coconut rice. The rice was tasty and the salmon cooked just right, but I was disappointed in the very small doses of other ingredients mentioned on the menu (bok choy, red onion, pineapple relish). There was enough to add color, but not to add taste.

Everyone's food was amazing. The smoked deviled eggs and Korean quesadilla are especially good.

The restaurant is long with a large bar and tables as well as some areas with couches and chairs, which gave a chill and relaxing vibe. We started off with drinks and appetizers! We ordered the spicy cheese curds (not spicy) and garlic parmesan fries. Both were yummy and the best part of the meal for me. The fries came with ranch and their house-made "Utah fry sauce"! And if you are from Utah, you will get the fry sauce thing. It's a staple and a must with eating fries in my opinion! Then we ordered dinner. My hubby and I shared the steak and mushrooms, and my bestie and her hubby ordered the buffalo chicken sliders and the spaghetti. The mushrooms with our dinner were huge and so good! Everything tasted really good and fresh, and we were all very pleased! Definitely check them out if you're in the area!

As a SL Valley resident, these prices for craft cocktails blew me away. I tried the maple Old Fashioned (with regular bitters due to a walnut allergy, which they happily accommodated), the Rye Smash, as well as a shot, and a beer. I got out for under $40, which is a great price. We sat at the bar and talked for hours. The bartender wasn't pushy or bothered by our long stay. They did a good job with the ambiance of the place. This is pretty standard for Salt Lake, but unseen up north in Logan. Well done. I will be sure to come back to this spot whenever work brings me up to Cache.
