Great atmosphere, bar service was great until I was sold an entree the could not be delivered. Two people side by side with the exact same order. We waited super extra long with excuses of a big table and a large cut of meat that needed extra time. We were patient and agreed it was ok. When we finally got our meal my buddy was served a prime cut of Pork chop and I was served a large ball of fat. Disclaimer up front, I am a first time customer at this restaurant. Decided on the Cashew crusted halibut with a blanc sauce, asparagus, grape tomatoes and polenta. Dish arrived- surprisingly small portion, all told maybe 5-6oz. No discernible "cashew crust", scant amount of blanco sauce with a few 1/2 inch pieces of asparagus and grape tomatoes on top of halibut which was on top of a small triangle of polenta. Halibut was cooked appropriately. Overall flavor was dull. Very disappointing dish for $30. My wife had the halibut fish and chips for 1/2 the price and it was more flavorful. Ironically, the most expensive dish was not very flavorful and the portion was just enough to make you laugh-but still not worth $30. If you enjoy feeling like a sucker- be sure to order the "cashew crusted" halibut. read more

This restaurant is great! It is set in a great location so you can either sit inside and enjoy the décor of the different elements, or you can sit outside and actually sit next to the river. We went on Saturday night, which apparently was the night of prom, and we still only waited for about 5 minutes. Our waiter was enthusiastic and accommodating and we liked him a lot. We tried the Gaufrette potato chips which are pretty much Ruffles with holes covered in a cheese sauce and bacon. These things are pretty good. You could definitely fill up on these before the main course. I got the house chopped salad with my entrée and it was delicious! The salad has a house vinaigrette on it that is so good that I wanted to lick the dish when I was done. So good! I got the gorgonzola steak pasta for my entrée and it was also delicious. If you've never had gorgonzola or you don't like strong cheeses this might not be the dish for you. The steak was really tender and melts in your mouth. I was really happy with it. You'll most likely have left overs though (yay for free lunch tomorrow!). If I travel though Logan again, I would definitely come back here! read more

Don't leave without getting this. Why I gave them only 3 stars? 1. A pesky fly. We were placed in a room which could accommodate 10 people and the window sill had several dead flies on it. Totally grossed me out. 2) As we were leaving the restaurant, the hostesses at the front didn't even say, "Thank you. Please come back again...." we were totally ignored. I've never had any interest in coming here because I haven't heard very good things but I was actually very impressed. My friends and I went because my friends chose it for her birthday dinner and everyone's food was super yummy. I mentioned this to my friend and she said it used to be really bad but the new chef (eric) has done only good things for the restaurant. he definitely does a good job. It's definitely pricier but nothing any of us got was disappointing and it's about the only place in Logan you can find a nicer ambiance. I was ultimately very impressed. read more

The staff here is fabulous and very welcoming and the restaurant has a great vibe. Not too fancy but nice enough for a dinner date with your lover! The food is AMAZING and everything is displayed very well. The chicken tenders are superb. The flavor was succulent. The lettuce wraps were great and definitely better than p.f. Changs. The pizza was scrumptious; it was Cajun chicken, however the flavor didn't stand out that much. The fries were not favorite thing but they are seasoned very well. I also got dessert. Thickest pork chop I have ever eaten. Cutting into it I thought there is no way it is cooked through but it was perfect. It was juicy and tender all the way through. The slightly spicy sauce was great with the garlic mashed potato. The only negative was the knife they gave me was no match for the pork chop. The drink selection was great. Elements is surely the best restaurant in Logan. If you're sick of olive garden and sizzler as the only "upscale" joints around, this is definitely the place to go for a fancy date night. Food is pricey, but definitely worth it to get away from moldy cheese bread and cheap pasta. We ordered four courses each and all of them were amazing. My friend got the filet mignon and it was heavenly. The dining experience as a whole is just elevated. High ceilings and a patio with a river view makes it feel very classy. Here is my favorites: - Steak Gorgonzola Pasta - this pasta is the perfect mix of savory, sweet, and a slight kick of blue cheese (Gorgonzola is a special blue cheese in case you didn't know) - The clam chowder soup is delectable probably my favorite of anywhere I've ever had it. This may be the only place in town to go for a nice dinner or for special occasions, but it didn't disappoint! The filet mignon was tender and savory, one of the best I've had. The halibut was amazing as well. If you like goat cheese, I highly recommend their fried goat cheese appetizer! The staff is really nice and the seating options are great, as they have plenty of booth seating. The patio seating and lighting looks nice but it's closed off during winter months. I do wish they would dim the lights and add candles at each table to create a cozier, more upscale environment. Music would also add a nice ambience. The food was amazing!! We decided to celebrate my wife's birthday at somewhere we had never been. We were so surprised... we started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts... they were cooked perfectly. Visited this place while on business travel. I enjoyed the food. I had wedge salad and sea pesto pasta. Both very good, seafood in pasta was not overbooked and still tender. Elements has had an up and down history but I have been four times this last year and they are on a roll! Every single meal was delicious and the service was great. Today my husband and I had lunch, We shared the Korean quesadilla, the haricots verts, the Thai chicken salad, and the focaccia bread. Every single thing was stellar!!The flavors were unique and unusual. The bread was hot and freshly made. Yes I had to take a box home because we also splurged on bread pudding with amazing homemade Caramel sauce. Our waitress was great... four refills on my Coke, extra this and that, prompt and efficient and smiling. The room has been thinned for Covid. This handsome restaurant is worth a detour. Located in Logan, it employs local Cache Valley ingredients when available in creative but sensible preparations. The two of us each started with a soup, and both were tasty and balanced. The French Onion soup had a meaty, not overly salty sweetness, plentiful sliced cooked onions and a stringy Gruyère crown. Lobster bisque was unctuous without being too rich. We enjoyed the hit of heat and the morsels of tender lobster. A main course of Gorgonzola steak salad had sliced mid-rare tenderloin in a creamy Gorgonzola sauce dotted with little chunks of cheese. The thin slices of red and yellow peppers added a touch of sweet. Fusilli gave a nice chew and held the sauce. The ale batter on the halibut and chips kept the seasoned fish nicely moist and juicy, and both a horseradish rémoulade and and some malt vinegar were there for extra flavor. Savanna was our server. And she know all the dishes, answered all our questions and was as nice and professional as one could hope for. If you're in northern Utah, Elements makes a good side trip. read more

Well me and a couple colleagues are out here for work and decided to try elements, mainly because its close to the hotel and well there doesnt seem to be many other close choices. I picked out the meatloaf dinner, veggies, and garlic mashed potatoes. Just an fyi this isnt cracker barrel meatloaf (which is what i wanted). Its an odd flavored meatloaf with some sort of bacon bit bourbon glaze (which i wasnt a fan of, too sweat). Veggies and taters were tasty, well seasoned. My coworkers liked their dishes as well. Steak gorgonzola pasta and pork chops. The pork chop was pretty good sized at about 2" thick, somewhat surprised it was cooked all the way through without burning it. The pasta as i was told was good but not olive garden good. I guess you could say that this is typical hotel restaurant faire and was better than most I've traveled through. The waiter was very nice and attentive. I would rate the overall experience about average. I may even give them another shot next time im in the area, but ill be trying something other than the meatloaf (just wasnt for me). read more

I brought my girlfriend in for her birthday. We wanted a nice dinner, and were excited to come here. We checked out the menu before hand- to see what they offered, and she decided a few things that she was most excited about. We got in, and got started ordering, and they let us know of a hand full of things that were unavailable due to the current COVID-19 situation- Totally understandable. We ordered drinks and the rest of our food, and waited... After about 15 minutes our server (Who was friendly and did a fine job otherwise) came back to let us know that the appetizers my girlfriend was practically drooling over weren't available and they actually wouldn't be coming. We were into our drinks already, and both starving so no big deal. We'd settle with the Fillet Trio that we each ordered as our entre. Thinking we'd have our food now, she came back again to let us know that they were out of mashed potatoes, so we'd need to pick a different side to come with our 3 oz medallions. We took the server's recommendation of crushed potatoes. 5 minutes later she comes back again- no crushed potatoes... Ok, French fries- we just want our food at this point. The food came, and our steaks were no long warm, but otherwise good. My Girlfriend enjoyed her cocktail and I enjoyed my whiskey, but it was served neat- props to High West Distillery. I understand things happen; the COVID situation makes things unpredictable for restaurants, however I feel like nothing was done to make the situation better, the manager didn't bother to check in at all. After all of this, we paid $130 dollars for 3 drinks and our entre's,+ untouched French fries. My girlfriend was excited to try a lot of their appetizers, however we probably won't be back. 2 stars because I understand that things happen, but at the end of the day, I don't feel like anything was done to make our experience more enjoyable, and we were left to make the best of her birthday evening on our own. read more

I get we are in Logan but if I am going to be charged 28 a plate I expect more. Apparently they don't like fresh vegetables in Logan. We ordered the caprese and there was no fresh basil, it was spinach. It was tasteless, then the entire plate had 3 pieces of mozzarella and barely any balsamic. Not worth the money, when I asked about the basil they said they use spinach "that was their take on it" this is not working and they need to reevaluate. I travel frequently to Logan and have eaten, and enjoyed my meal at Elements on a number of occasions but this visit was very disappointing. Upon arriving I immediately noticed that the menu has changed. They no longer have the great selection they had. I was told the reason for this was because they have a new executive chef. I ordered an Elements Chopped Salad, which I used to love and Instead I received more of a Cobb salad that lacked any flavor and was in no way a chopped salad. My meal was bland and I also noticed a change in the service. I have no idea what happened to this great restaurant but I will not be back. read more
