And the results were - omg - amazing. It's always so nice coming back to a clean house, but this was BEYOND clean. All the little nooks and crannies, my main concerns, and they were even able to get a stain out of my marble counter. My plans also changed suddenly so I wasn't able to see them off, but I was assured that I didn't have to pay until I got home and did a walk through to review everything. Anna was recommended by our doorman as a regular in the building and she was gracious enough to come in at 7AM on a Sunday morning (which is usually her off-day caring for 2 little kids) because I needed something urgently and desperately (because my parents are coming into town)! She came in a little late, but it's also the day for daylight savings change and I'll let it pass with that. She did an extremely thorough job cleaning each and every little corner of each and every room - she does take longer than the other cleaning services I have tried out in the past, but that's because she is so absolutely thorough that I love it! Her sister and mother also work with her and I can't speak for their quality, but Anna, definitely, a thumbs-up all the way. Most importantly, fair and market-comparable on cost too! She works by space rather than by hours, which I like, and doesn't try to charge extra for a cupboard or microwave! P.S. Her preferred working hours are generally weekday mornings!

Here's an update…read more... After calling Mira several times, I rec'd an email from her. In the emal, she stated that I had been the one to scratch my own range, with a knife. As she'd seen knives in the sink when she came over to view the scratch, than I must've been the one to scratch the range, is what she told me. I contend that if a scratch had been from a knife, it would be a very thin line. This scratch is wide, "squiggly," and ends under where the grate sits. Hence, there is no way it could be from a knife. I emailed this response to her and I've not heard from her again. Bottom line, Mira will not stand behind what she promises.
