I've been coming for years! Good portions & the fries are the best. My go to is the Gyro plate!

Pizza puff
Nick P.

This is the second time I've been here. It's a good local spot. Yes, it seems like the owner on the register never smiles or presents a positive customer experience. However, the Mexicans doing the cooking always give you a smile and tell you to have a nice day while they hand you your food. They have seating inside and outside. One of the stools inside needs to be fixed. Lots of parking. I ordered an Italian beef with sweet peppers and a pizza puff. The meat in the Italian beef is not dry, it's moist throughout. The pizza puff has a crunchy exterior and ample filling on the inside. Portions are pretty good. I did order gyros and a burger in the past, both were delicious. The portions for those were huge. Definitely a solid lunch choice.

Gyro yummy!!!

Edit: Tried the gyro today($10 by itself) The meat was juicy, the pita and tomatoes were fresh. The tzatziki could have been better,it tasted like plain Greek yogurt with no lemon, mint,or cucumbers and a tiny bit of dill. I will definitely eat it again for the juicy, well seasoned meat! It doesn't include fries so add some if you want, but it's definitely a filling pita.

Look at this!!! a free fist bump Should I use it now or save it for later?

I love the cheeseburger and fries. My son goes for the chicken nugget dinner and my daughter loves their beef. Great place to eat.

Best ice in the city, and cheeseburgers that will bring you to tears! I can't wait to come back.

The outdoor patio was cute and shielded from traffic with high wall dividers. Food wasn't the highlight, but I would come back to try other dishes. White Chocolate Pistachio Martini $14 - Not too sweet, nor too strong, good flavors. Grilled Octopus $20 - Small portion, tender octopus. Chicken Wings $17 - 8 meaty wings, naked, skin was slightly crispy and caramelized. Salmon Poke Bowl $19 - Simple and straight forward salmon poke bowl. The fries were crispy and delicious. For our birthday celebration, they gave us a yummy brownie and ice cream with a little candle. Reservations can be made on Resy. .|\---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2026

Another great dinner at Foxtail!…read more We had to come back to try more of the menu, and this time we ordered: * Pork belly bruschetta: 5/10. Unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. The pork belly, ciabatta, and balsamic were all good individually, but together the flavors just didn't work. It felt mismatched... * Colorado lamb kebab: 10/10. This is one of the more $$ entrées on the menu, but it's absolutely worth it. The portion was generous, the lamb was high quality, and the artichoke pesto paired really well with the rich, gamey flavor. The roasted pearl onions were a great addition too. I would definitely recommend this dish. * Foxtail paella: 8/10 flavorful orzo paella loaded with seafood. Definitely a sharing type of entree! Always a great time at Foxtail with great food and great service!

Lots of happenings on a weekly basis - open mic nights, scheduled performances, trivia, etc. Come early in order to snag a seat, or expect to be dancing! In efforts get a trivia group going consistently, I've started going to Johnny's a few weeks back…read more It's still early days, but my experience thus far has been really good. The place is small and divey, but I think the $9 draft tag prevents it from actually being a dive bar. I do like the atmosphere. There's a small stage for musicians to perform and a kitchen that closes around 8pm during weekdays. Trivia night is on Wednesdays starting 7pm. Both times, I arrived little past 6pm and I seem to be one of the first ones there. The trivia crowd starts rolling in right around 7pm. Definitely get the sense that Wednesday night crowd is only there for trivia. Joe, who was there both times have been good to me. Can't say he's the most friendly person in the world, but he's one of those people who sorta grow on you the more you talk to him. Not sure if he's the owner or just the manager, but when I told him that I was in for the trivia and that it was my first time, he was super chill to explain the schticks. He also recognized me the second time around and was even more friendly than the first time. Steve, the host of the trivia was also a cool kat. I could immediately tell that 6-or-so teams that were there for trivia were all regulars and that my group was the newcomers. Steve definitely acknowledged that we were new and was super attentive and cool towards our group. I definitely appreciated that. Second time I was there, which was a few weeks later, he still remembered me and made small talks. Sign of a good trivia host, if you ask me. As mentioned before, I think the drinks are on a steeper side. This may be because the trivia I used to go back in Toledo had $5 - $6 beers on tab and that I'm not accounting for inflation and or the city taxes. But still, a tiny resentment over paying twice as much for same number of beers exists for me. Truth of the matter is that I'm still having a good time kickin' it with friend-lleagues, so the beer tag probably won't bug me as much. Still yet to get a crowd more than 3 of us going, but I'm slowly working my way up. I like the vibes, the trivia and its host, and their food--though not cheap.
