After being disappointed in not going to Rude Rooster on a week night. The parking lot is a mess and tiny. I decided to come here. This is a hole in the wall restaurant. Table, chairs, restroom, two screens to order, etc. The parking lot is decent, you can always find a space. I ordered the double cheeseburger, fries, and a blueberry fresh pressed lime. My girlfriend ordered the mango fresh pressed lime. Prices were fine. Service was good. They call your name when it's finished. I was lucky to get one of the last burgers and fries for the night before they sold out. I will definitely return here. -double cheeseburger 5 - two smash burgers in one. The burgers were very juicy and halal patties just hit differently. Tried Centro Burgers and honestlyyyy it was so good. We got both the beef burger and the chicken burger, and both were super fresh, juicy, and flavorful. You can tell the food was made fresh and not just thrown together. The beef burger was really solid, juicy, well-seasoned, and had that good smashed/grilled flavor. The chicken burger was also surprisingly really good too, crispy, flavorful, and not dry at all. Sometimes one item is way better than the other at burger spots, but both actually held up. The fries were a good side and hit the spot, but the real sleeper hit for me was the mango shake because omg... SO good. Definitely one of those drinks you keep thinking about after. The place itself is pretty simple inside and gives more of a grab-your-food-and-go vibe, but the food was the main thing here and it delivered. The location is hidden a bit, needs better look and I believe they are in process of rebuilding as I write this. The meat was juicy and tender but lacked flavor. Bland and needs to be balanced more with sauce to toppings ratios. Overall, the meat was good but could have been cooked better with more seasoning. Had a bad craving for a burger and decided to give this place a try after reading all the good reviews. First off, it was hard to find because there's no sign outside lol but it's located in the same plaza as Noodles Pho U and to the right of Ivy Massage. Upon entering, you order on an iPad. Simple menu, consists of burger, fries, hot dog, grilled cheese, lemonade and soft drinks. We ordered two burgers with different toppings and fries. They made two of one of the burgers we ordered instead of our each individualized burgers but it's okay, no biggie. After paying, you enter your phone number and a message pops up saying you'll receive a text when the order is ready. We sat in a booth for a good 15 minutes waiting for the text or name to be called but never happened, but eventually checked and it was ready and sitting on the counter. The burger itself was decent, a bit greasy but nothing horrible. The buns were a little soggy and the patties were ok, fell apart easily. We liked the toppings (pickles, sliced onions and jalapeños) and the centro sauce was a nice change from your typical ketchup and mayo. The fries were a bit of a let down, especially since some of the other reviews had pictures of really golden/seasoned fries. Centro is one of my favorite halal burger spot in the Chicagoland area. It's in a hidden spot tucked in Lombard, but the food has always been amazing. While the interior is slightly underwhelming and needs more space to eat, it more than makes up for it by the fantastic burgers. Worth giving this place a shot. Sure the place is a bit outdated but the food was delicious and that's what counts. The fries were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chicken slider was good too but I think they gave me the spicy chicken instead of mild which is fine. The pickles were fresh and so were all the other veggies. Centro jumped on the spicy chicken bandwagon. I heard it was pretty good, so I tried it out. I ordered the Feast #3 which comes with two sliders and fries for $12.99. I asked for one slider with regular spice and the other super spicy. Well, I think they messed up and gave both sliders as super spicy. I took a bite of each one and the spice level was the same. Unfortunately my wife could barely tolerate it, but I thought it was pretty good. There's a tiny hint of sweetness that nicely complements the spice. Moreover, these were not sliders. These were two big chicken sandwiches, making this quite a value. The fries were sparse in quantity, which is a shame because they were good fries. Their chicken sandwich is definitely worth a shot. I think I still prefer Chi Tea and Dave's, but this is a nice option to have. P.S. I really hope they put up a sign some day so people actually know that Centro is here. Currently there's no signage. So happy someone told us to come here for some good halal burgers. I don't think I would have found this through the internet. From the outside this place may not look all that but when you see these burgers you will be blown away. Everything comes packed so nicely! This burger joint opened up last month. I stopped in a few times and enjoyed a double cheeseburger. I also like their chicken smashed burger which was full of flavor. They care seasoned fries which were excellent. The only negative is that they ran out of meat when I stopped in there last week. The setup of this place is not customer friendly at all. #1. You can not order burger via phone or in person. It can only be done online. #2. Online they give you pickup time which can be 40-50min. No option to do it earlier. If you show up early then they make you wait or return at designated time. Not really fast food, not something you can grab quick eat, you literally have to go through a process which require 40+minutes to get the food. BottomLine: Business which makes so hard for customers to obtain food is not customer center and management need to reassess their approach. Overall up their along with their down the street rival bumper2burger. Covid messes up their official opening but I'm really glad they're open again. This spot has potential to be better than bumper2burger when they officially open and increase their options. Slight critiques: a little bit too much sauce, made the sandwich slippery, but at least the bun didn't get soggy which is what happens at bumper2burger.
