Two crispy beef patties, cheese, onion, pickles, Fyve sauce and just a few jalapenos all wrapped in a potato bun hug. Perfectly balanced flavors! And I am not a fry gal, but i got the combo that came with crinkle cut fries. They were actually very crispy and seasoned so I added cheese sauce on the side. Heaven. I'd been wanting to try Fyve Bros for a while. I was finally in the area and took advantage to grab an OKC burger for myself and a junior smash burger for my son. I requested no cheese on the OKC, but they put cheese on it anyway. I'm surprised how many burger places use American "cheese" (that is, processed cheese product) instead of offering natural cheese like cheddar. Also, it was so greasy that it made the bottom of the bag soggy. That said, the burger was pretty good overall. The beef patties were thin but smashed nicely. The jalapeno peppers added a nice kick. The onions could have been more caramelized. The bun, as implied earlier, was soggy from all the grease. The interior was nothing special, but nothing objectionable. We recently tried Fyve Bros. and overall, the food definitely hit the spot. Two of us had the smash burgers, and both were very tasty. The buns were soft, the burgers were flavorful, and the sauce was really good. We also ordered the loaded fries topped with burger patty, which were a great addition and made for a pretty filling meal. My wife and daughter had the chicken sandwiches and enjoyed them as well. The biggest downside was the price. The food was good, but I felt the prices were a little high for what you get. The atmosphere was probably the weakest part of the experience. It was pretty bland, with just a couple of TVs playing sports and not much else to create an inviting atmosphere. Overall, the food was good and satisfying, especially the smash burgers and loaded fries. Had a really solid meal here. I order the OKC burger and it was really good. It could have been better if the onions were cooked more as I ended up taking them off. I've heard about this place from the owner of Pie Life in Carol Stream. He told me this is one of the best smash burgers he's ever had. I decided to come here last night to check it out. They have a decent parking lot that is shared. Inside there were six tables and two arcade games that you can play. There are two one-person restrooms with each gender. Prices were pretty cheap. I ordered an OKC burger, FYVE dog, seasoned fries, CHYCK sauce, and strawberry lemonade. My food came out fast. I'll give this place a 4.5. Skip the fries and just order another OKC burger and the strawberry lemonade. -OKC burger 5 - this was hands down one of the best burgers I've ever had in general. The double smash patties were very juicy. The jalapeño only added a little bit of heat but it all came together nicely with the other toppings. The potato bun was good. The sauce was amazing. I would just skip over the single smash and only get the double. -FYVE dog 4 - it's a good hot dog but not on the same level as the OKC burger. The CHYCK sauce was tasty on the dog. -seasoned fries 3 - the fries by themselves were meh. I'm not a crinkle cut kind of guy. I've been to a number of Middle Eastern and Indian places and their fries are crispy and well seasoned. I like those. These I would recommend getting the CHYCK sauce or the FYVE sauce to dip them in. -strawberry lemonade 5 - I really enjoyed this. I wished they had refills or a bigger cup for this. read more

Have to knock the rating down a star for the inconsistent flavor of the FYVE Sauce. I am not a fan of mustard on burgers and on my first visit I liked the FYVE Sauce, but on my most recent visit it was too heavy on the mustard. Because of this I didn't enjoy the burger as much. The pickles tasted different as well. Luckily their ordering system lets you get both on the side which I will do in the future. I do hope they will follow the sauce recipe more consistently, however, because it was really good the first time I had it. read more

Had the okc burger, fries, and mocha shake. Mocha shake was utterly amazing. Real ice cream with chunks of chocolate mixed into the shake. Fries were good. Very salty; a little too heavy on salt. But really hot n' fresh. The burger was a little disappointing for me. Absolutely drowning in their special sauce. It totally took away from tasting anything else. (meat, jalapeños, onions etc were all just engulfed in too much sauce. I would highly suggest that you ask for light sauce... or even sauce on the side. Wow! Awesome burger. Toppings were excellent and the burger was perfectly cooked. Hard to explain but the bun was almost like it was part of the burger. It was messy but delicious. They really put out a good smash and the lattice crust hangs past the bun, leading to some extra flavor. OKC burger is a treat and not too much heat from the jalapeños. I was in the mood for a good smash burger and this place came recommended. The menu is minimal which to me means that they really focus on what they do best. I ordered a basic 2 patty burger meal that also came with fries and a drink. At first I was taken aback by the fact that soda choices are limited to 3 types of off brand ones. However, the cola I had was better than I expected. There was a malt beverage plus shakes on the counter to choose from. Next came the burger and fries. The fries were fat crinkle variety that were perfectly salted and crispy. Those were delicious and worth the calories so make sure to order them. The OKC burger was good and didn't need the jalapeño. The smash burger had the perfect ratio of cheese to patty. The bun was fresh and fluffy. My only disappointments were I wish it was a bigger sandwich and the patties had a crusty edge with a bit more seasoning. The sauce on the burger was so good too so ask for a bit more. It was difficult to get into the parking lot if you're coming down Bloomingdale Rd from the north so you'll probably have to make a u-turn just past the restaurant. The service was great (made to order food so be patient it's worth the wait) and the owner really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. Not much inside as far as décor but I'm here for the food, not to hang out for hours. If you live nearby give this place a try but if you're not close (over 30 minute drive), find another spot. read more

We decided to stop by and try the food at Fyve Bros because of the Yelp reviewed that they had received. The place did NOT disappoint. We really enjoyed the homemade sauces that they put on the hot dogs and the burgers. The fries were cooked to perfection. It makes it very tasty and outside of the normal condiments. We ordered take out, but they do have adequate indoor seating if that is something you would desire. The shakes were incredible. We highly recommend ordering a shake. read more

We gave this place a try after reading a review. We walked and were greeted from the person behind the counter. They have a small menu, but they don't need a huge menu. We ended up ordering the smash burger and fries. The burger was well seasoned and had a great flavor. The fries were also seasoned and crispy the way I like them. The restaurant itself is small, but has a few tables to dine in if you choose. Food is freshly prepared and took no time at all.
