Stopped in for a sub sandwich recently. Good food and service. I love the Turano bread, it's so fresh. I had the regular size Mr. Sub and it was good, but it could use a little more meat and cheese. The food really is the best of its kind and the prices are very good for what they offer. On top of that, the service was the best one can ask for. I now make it a point to stop by there every time I am in the area and have tried various of their menu items. Mr. Sub is one of my go-to sandwich spots! The turkey sandwich is my favorite and I just love the mayo they put on it. Not sure if they make it and it's their own, but it tastes so good! Their prices are decent for what you get. I just wish they would put a little more meat on the sandwiches. I have noticed that they have been using less meat and the prices have gone up quite a bit, which I get because of the horrible inflation. If they at least added a little bit more meat, that would be 5 star worthy. Overall though, good subs! read more

It's been over two years but this location is still closed to dine-in due to COVID. I visited the drive-thru and it's extremely inconvenient for those on the run. When ordering a sandwich they barely put on any sauce, always have to ask for extra sauce to be applied. Customer service is abysmal...no need to be so rude to customers. Take the drive down Ogden to a different location. This one plain sucks. read more

It is lunch time again. That means I try to eat healthy during this time of day. Look @ what I found: a veggie sub that is very good. Lots a veggies. You can get it old school (tomatoes, lettuce, onions, cheese, sauce) or with everything (add banana peppers, green peppers and cucumbers). You even have a wheat bread choice. Their fries and other sandwiches are very good, too. I recommend the grill chicken and gyro sub. Also, there is a guy that works there that REALLY makes a good sandwich. My girlfriend had mentioned having gone to Mr. Subs a lot when she lived in the city. I heard legends of these garlic fries and since we moved close to one, it was time to give the suburban location a try. Place looks totally unassuming from the outside, just your average sub place. The sandwich was good, lots o' meat and the king size is truly big, get that if you're super hungry. The bread is soft and hearty, it's from Turano Bakery, if that means anything to you. Now, let me tell you about these garlic cheese fries. This is a bold claim, but these are the best cheese fries on planet earth, probably the universe if I had a chance to compare. If you're a fan of garlicky stuff, this is like the glorious love-child of garlic bread and cheese fries. The cheese was like on every inch of fry and this magic pixie dust of garlickyness blanketed the whole thing. The sub was good, but I'm pretty sure I really just wanted to eat these as my dinner. Yay, Mr. Submarine! I used to frequent the one in Berwyn, as I spent a good portion of my twenties in the area. Since then, it had been quite a long time since I had one of their sandwiches, and one day the craving hit. No way I was going to drive to boofoo for one, and I was excited to see this location in DG. Without hesitation, I trucked on over. This location has a drive-thru, but I opted to go inside, as I knew I'd need a few minutes to look over the menu. I'm not one of those morons that pulls up in a drive-thru and sits there for five minutes deciding on my order. If you can't commit to your meal in under thirty seconds, go inside folks. Don't make the people behind you wait forever just because you're indecisive. I ordered a regular Mr. Sub with everything, and added hot giardiniera as well. I also opted for a side of Mac & Cheese Bites. The cashier was friendly, but between orders, she'd flirt with her coworkers and have personal conversations that patrons could obviously hear. It was a bit awkward, as there were only 3 others in the restaurant besides myself, so you could hear every word. Finally my order was ready, so I grabbed my food and made my way outside. First I checked out the Mac & Cheese Bites. Reminiscent of the Arby's "Mac & Cheesers" (yeah, remember them), they were hot and gooey. A side of Ranch is included for dipping. The sub was great. Just as greasy as I remember from ordering them at 3 a.m. after a night out in the bars. The addition of the hot giardiniera was the perfect accompaniment to the meats and veggies on the sub. The only part I forgot about these subs are that they look deceiving. I was only able to make it half way through my sandwich before I was full, and I didn't even get the "King" size. I wrapped up the other half to save for later. I'm so glad there's a Mr. Submarine in the area. Next time the craving hits, I will certainly make the short trek back here. read more

I went through the drive-through. We ordered the turkey with bacon and the gyros platter. The sub was really good. A lot of turkey and real bacon slices. Just the right amount of lettuce and onions. The bread is yummy. We ordered no tomatoes and they got it right. The gyros platter is huge! Enough for two meals or more. The pitas are good pitas, not cheap ones. The gyro meat has more flavor than I am used to, very tasty. I like the olives and feta cheese they give you. Oh the tzatziki sauce is awesome and they give you a lot! Not just a little plastic cup. Greetings, I order a veggie sub tonight at 937pm, I asked the lady to add extra cucumbers and add red onions. The veggie sub come with banana peppers, green bell pepper white onions, tomatoes, and cheese. First thing I noticed is the sandwich was not the correct size I paid for, secondly I unwrap the sandwich and I separate the bread third thing I noticed was the missing veggies, it was half a sliced of green pepper and all cucumber, the cheese was molded and stuck on the third slice of cheese was a fly, not just any fly, a big fly was stuck on a slice of cheese, and the fly was still moving, the wing was moving. I immediately called the restaurant like four times, finally the same lady answered the phone the fifth time I called. I expressed my concerns in details, She egan to get irate with me, going back and forth with me. She call me a liar, and told me to bring the sandwich back to the restaurant, then hangs up in my face. So I drive back to the restaurant, she came to the drive-thru with the same disrespectful, and ignorant attitude, I ask her, why are you yelling at me. I told her that I just wanted my refund, you told me you will refund me. I never got my refund back after making a second trip to the restaurant. I told her that I wasn't leaving until I get my refund back. I have her the back the sandwich and they both refused to refund me, and then they call the police on me.
