Food was great! And our server Rachael was fantastic! Loved our experience overall at Max's

Jackie, our server, did a great job--food & outdoor eating--very good! First timers; we will be back!!

I really enjoyed my brunch/lunch today. I ordered the fried calamari with zucchini and French toast as well as a Caesar salad with chicken on the side. I love a good fried calamari anywhere I go so this calamari with zucchini on the side was a twist that I had never indulged in before. Despite ordering things that are pretty hard to mess up there are places That tend to miss. I was really satisfied with my food. I read this restaurant three stars because unfortunately my drinks were not satisfying I'm not sure who was the bartender this afternoon but they did not do a good job with either of my drinks. They aren't captured here because they weren't aesthetically pleasing one and two they tasted horrible, I ordered a black berry drink as well as a coconut Mojito. The drinks were so bitter I had to ask for simple syrup on the side. Other than that I would say the overall experience was a good one they just need to work on the drink recipes. I personally would come back to catch a quick bite again but maybe not for a happy hour. read more

I had the opportunity to visit Max's last week and can't say enough about it. The food was great! I had a hamburger that was so juicy it melted in my mouth. And much to my delight the server/bartender Lindsay, was delightful. She was so helpful in explaining the menu and recommending various dishes and cocktails to contemplate them. The Dj was fun and kept the ambiance at another level. read more

I have been here several times. While i have yet to try the food i have had their dessert. I had the Creme Brulee pie it was absolutly fantastic. The texture is amazing. From the perfect crust to the smooth and tasty cream. The fruits just take it to another level. It is perectly balanced. I have also had the Flourless Chocolate cake. That wasn't bad but it left my palate wanting for more. It wasn't something out of this world. I will have to come here to try the food and then i will update my review. As of now i am satisfied going there for the Creme Brulee. read more

Stopped in for a quick drink while waiting for the gelato place to open. Great place to walk around and enjoy the park. The drinks were amazing!! Service was friendly and helpful. Great recommendations. The Blackberry Lemon Mojito was so good!!! Refreshing!! Fun atmosphere, we enjoyed a spot at the bar but they had a great outside patio to view activity. read more

Pretty average experience, food and drinks. The server was good at recommending things not to get on the menu, and not providing alternatives to those things. Probably fine to visit once if you live there, but wouldn't recommend if your just visiting the area, like us. read more

I've been coming to Florida since my birth. This has become my family's favorite restaurant. It's a classy upgrade to a pub scene in a very nice outdoor mall type plaza.l with tons of great restaurants, shops, and bars. There is usually a HUGE line, reservation is definitely recommended, but we got lucky on a Sunday night around 8ish with 5 people and were seated immediately. When you sit you get amazing crackers with the best hummus you could ever eat. So smooth and creamy- we devour it. I ALWAYS get the flatbread and usually the burger but today I changed things up for the Korean BBQ tacos. I don't love kimchi but it was so good. 2 softshell tacos open face with steak, avocado, kimchi, lettuce, a spicy I think red pepper aioli and crushed cashews. Delic. Also got a side of fries that are always incredible. The rest of my family loves their salads A definite go to! Also, if Mr Max reads this, your waitress Sandy rocks and we loved her. read more

Max's is a staple for us in Boca. The food is always predictably of great quality. The menu has had several Great items removed for the off-season which is disappointing but understandable. We typically dine outside or seated at the bar. And when Jade is the bartender it is particularly enjoyable. Jade is quick to take care of any issues and one of the best bartenders in Boca Raton. Highly recommend Max's and Jade as your bartender read more

I've been coming here for years but today was special.I was with an elderly friend who's hard-of-hearing and our server Rachel was extra Patient and took good care of us. As always, the food was perfect, and we will be back soon. read more

Never disappoints! Always great food! It's difficult to chose between the the go to menu items and the chef specials. Sam was our waiter and he was excellent and very attentive. We always enjoy the outdoor seating and music. Can't wait to go back! read more

We went to Max's Grille in Boca Raton and had great food and service! We can't wait to go back.

Awesome food! Chef always has incredible specials. Max's grille is a must- big menu with lots of variety.

Food and service are always amazing. Always take my family here for a great evening. A boca staple for good reason never let's us down

We ate here for lunch. The lunch menu is relatively limited, but both our sandwiches were very good, a Mahi sandwich ($18) and a burger. The burger was $16, plus $3 for add ons to it though the price wasn't mentioned - I thought they were included since our waitress just asked if I wanted them or not. Drinks are a little pricey: a Long Island iced tea for $14. While I just saw a J Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet in a local store for almost $12, Max's wanted $40 for that same bottle. I had an 8-oz glass of Starmont cab for $20. We sat inside to stay out of the sun, and also to avoid the too-loud band on the patio. Our waitress, Emily, was very good. The men's room is small. There is no hand air dryer in there and there were no paper towels to dry hands. read more

This restaurant used to be a staple for upscale dining and outstanding country club like service in Boca Raton, Florida.. My last dinner there was average.. The food portions were very small side vegetables on menu entrees weren't even included drinks weren't made incorrectly and Bill was sky high for what you ordered! It unfortunately appears the new COVID economy has hit this place hard... The waitress was as apathetic as the portions.. Sorry Max's hope you can turn it around with some new management in 2021! I still have hope!! read more

Had lunch last week, food was great. Our server Greg terrific and couldn't ask for better service.

While in Boca, we had the pleasure of eating dinner at Max's Grille in Mizner. Our table was separated appropriately from the neighbors and the restaurant pushed it away even further, just for our comfort level. The meal was fantastic, great service and touchless payment. Would definitely go back. Felt comfortable. read more

Shrimp Scampi made to order added e xtra shrimp. It was loved and calamari and zuchinni appetizer was fantastic. Kenny was awesome, polite and knowledgeable. He helped us make our selection easier but did not like my jokes. Spicy Beefbsalad was delicious and filling. We will be back but after 5. Do not come between 3-5 due to menu change and limited selection. read more

I have been to Max's Grill a number of times and previous to my visit last night found the restaurant to be a great choice given their food and service. However, our recent visit was an extreme disappointment. We had a long wait for our table despite our reservation and the food took over an hour to arrive. After talking to the manager and writing a review, the management of the restaurant stepped up to the plate and I must say that due to their subsequent hospitality and follow up, I will be giving Max's Grill another try. read more

Worst restaurant ever .We get sick with the sushi we eat; flies were all over , we try to talk with the sushi chef but it was only a server that the restaurant use for making sushi , 0 experience how you make a server sushi a sushi chef needs to have years of experience!!!!Dirty place and they have not idea about sushi this place is a joke just run way from. Foods better than average service runs, hot and cold. Sometimes it isn't worth the wait cause you're not giving anything away. Look at the menu just say and rarely do I find anything that would be "a special that I don't want to get off the menu. read more

Upon arrival we were seated promptly at an outdoor table. Our server Wade took good care of us. Wade took our drink orders and brought us all water. After delivering the drinks we were ready to order. Appetizers and salads came out first. We were not rushed. Next dinner was served and everyone's order was correct and delicious. We were so full no room for desert. Some even had enough left over to take home. We really enjoying dinning at Max's. Thanks read more

We went and had dinner and a few cocktails on 9-28-2019. Located in Mizner park this is the best outside dining and bar experience they have to offer and probably 1 of south Florida's best outdoor bar also. Atmosphere is super chic with a great selection of all top shelf liquor. Seems like everyday of the week (especially during the season) they offer outside live bands and special dj performers. A must visit in the Boca Raton area. Make sure and try to truffle Parmesan fries, and also the miso glazed salmon salad was amazing. Also the pineapple Mojito was delicious and was perfect with the salmon. read more

Meh ate there Saturday night, the server was amazing. The food just just ordinary, plates were just sloppy. You can hear the chef hollering from the dining room very unprofessional. read more

The response to my original review by Burt lacks any merit chose to disregard for basic customer concerns. It was the staff and the management that were rude and inappropriate here hence why I registered a complaint about the horrible service. It's obvious that I would NEVER go back to Max's Grille so there's no need to exclude me LOL. It's clear that the poor, rude and inappropriate attitude by the management stems from the poor attitude etc in your reply. When you don't have the facts you resort to attacking a customer's character. Such a low low, low, low baseless attack on a customer shows how low you and your business will go. Restaurant owners and managers throughout this area and wherever I go love when I visit with my family and friends and there's mutual respect appreciation. Thankfully, you have no say on the great relationships I have throughout the area as I'm welcomed in all restaurants with open arms. read more

If you are looking for a bite to eat prepare yourself for a hectic dinner. The only reason I am giving them another star is because in the past they have been pretty good. When I lived in the area we would come all the time. This restaurant has been around for quite a long time and has a following. I haven't ate at this restaurant in several years and surprised this is how it's run now. We went during the week for lunch and from the start the dining experience was not acceptable. We were seated outside with a waitress that greeted us 20 minutes later. Took another half hour for a drink and food order and then no delivery of watered down drinks until the food arrived. Never came back to check on us until we got up to leave since it started raining on us. We had to get up several times to ask where our waitress was through out lunch. We ordered a couple sushi rolls, tacos and two specialty drinks. We ate our tacos over our cocktail napkins because we were never brought plates or silverware. Overall the lunch food is slightly overpriced for portions, the service needs improvement and the noisy bar construction outside is the topping to your unique dining environment! read more

We came to Mizner with our 2 year old for their Pumpkin Patch festival and decided to go to Max's for Brunch/Lunch. They were very busy due to the festival but everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating; we were sat immediately. We had a great mix from the menu. My wife and I split the skirt steak tostada which was out of this world. Steak cooked to perfection and the flavors were off the charts. We also had their wings which are a favorite of ours for years. Our Parents had a chicken salad sandwich and seared tuna and both got rave reviews. And we topped off the food wit some bottomless sangrias which were also a pleasant surprise! So many places try and serve cheap booze and ingredients but not here. They even used Zing-Zang for their bloody Mary's! Extra points! And last but not least, our 2 year old had grilled chicken and veggies off their kids menu and he crushed it! Lov that they had a healthy option for him. There's a reason this place has been a staple in our community and had a truly pleasurable experience. Manager even came over and checked on everyone! We will be back very soon! read more
