This was a good experience. One visit and the purchase. Usually I am more cautious with expensive purchases and tend to do a detailed research. This time did not feel the need. Prices are high, nut this is to be expected, somehow mattresses became an investment in last few years. Sale wasn't much to right home about, just a few hundreds from the MSRP, but the sales person was very creative, constantly suggesting saving possibilities on add-on items - pillows, frames, etc. At the end we walked out with a middle-range quality mattress, great pillow, and few other items for $2000. While we were thinking, he also suggested visiting their on-line clearing site, there are returns there with up to 30% discounts. Too bad, they did not have much to choose from on that site, but the honesty and the drive to help us was refreshing. This was a good move on his part :), it pretty much sealed the deal. Mattress Firm's Customer Service department will only communicate through online chat. It is impossible to get an individual. When I submitted a claim on my $1,700 121 day old mattress when the sidewall failed they told me I missed the 120 day limit by s day. I was told I had to contact the manufacturer on my own - ie not their problem. I wrote the CEO twice with no response. Absolutely disgusted that I tried to support our brick and mortar businesses. I will 100% go bed-in-a-box next. This company absolutely does not care about its customers as I begged them to make it right. read more

They're in a fairly out-of-the way location in the Trails at 620, so each time I've been in, they haven't been super busy. The showroom (and that's all it is, BTW) is full of beds you can try out, but FYI most of the ones already set up are in the $1000 and up range. I had no idea you could spend close to $3000 on a mattress set. Stearns & Foster and Simmons Beautyrest stood out to me, but they carry other brands as well. They're all grouped by price and firm/plush. There's a filing-cabinet-style collection of less expensive mattresses standing up at the back of the store, in case you're not looking for a Cadillac sleeper. Some are their store brand, but I found them less comfortable than a similarly-priced Simmons. Price range was around $350 up. A salesperson will take them down for you and set them up on a nearby box spring for you to try out. Mattresses are housed at their warehouse at 183 x I-35, and they do offer delivery for $80, which includes hauling off and recycling your old set. I was able to set up delivery for the next day. I've found the staff here to be helpful and willing to negotiate every time I've come in. They may not offer the absolute cheapest price in town, but they seem to be fair, and fairly easy to deal with. Delivery people show up when they say they will. And they have sales, so keep an eye open for an upcoming deal. read more

They didn't get pushy (like a car salesman), and really listened to us. If you need a good mattress at a decent price you should stop by here and give them a chance to earn your business. We went into this location one afternoon in search of a new king mattress and Andy helped us narrow down the "feel" we were looking for. He was informative and had great advice to help us not get overwhelmed as we tried several in the store. I had been putting this purchase off because I like to research on my own and read lots of reviews but I had not found the time to do that yet. I was hesitant to walk into the store with little idea about which direction we wanted to go. After talking to Andy we took a few days to think about the purchase and returned with our decision. The mattresses are made upon order (at least our Sterns and Foster was) which is nice and delivery was a reasonable 3-4 days so we didn't have too long of a wait. No issues throughout the process at all and so far we are happy with our purchase! read more
