Fantastic experience with Amerisleep @ Domain Northside today. Was in-market for a new pillow that would help with recent neck pain and displace my current 5yr old pillow. After finding Amerisleep via reviews, I hopped onto their site and was quickly greeted by Terrence via chat. I felt well attended in store, but the follow-up service was less than stellar. First, the AS2 I received did not feel as firm as the one in the store. I did not want to call it so early because there were other (unpleasant) aspects of my first microfiber mattress for which I was unprepared and figured deserved some adjustment time. Never really got better. Setup: The mattress arrived more or less on time, but the mattress cover took a while (which felt pretty unfortunate once I experienced the whole microfiber sleep hot thing). I looked for a suitable platform service for days before and after the mattress arrived, but ultimately gave up and left it on my floor. (I did not have a bed base or anything that met the warranty criteria. They suggested treated wood, but that turned out to be an unwieldy, heavy and relatively expensive -- not temporary -- solution to my _apartment_ situation.) And I'm still waiting on the pillow I ordered the same day (months ago). Hopefully my body is not done adjusting. :( read more

I just wanted to send my highest compliments to you all... most specifically Sam and Roger!! From beginning to end, I've had nothing but the best customer service from purchasing, tracking to receiving and even the follow-ups. I cannot say it enough but the customer service Amerisleep has to offer is by far the best I've ever dealt with. I placed two orders for the AS3 back in July, took a while to get it delivered due to Covid-19 and the backorder of the mattresses. I delayed one of the two orders, so my parents received their mattress first. I changed my order to the AS2 and quickly got that delivered soon after. Definitely worth the wait !! Wow, the AS2 is just perfect. I've had a firm memory foam mattress for about 10 years and I was desperate to find one similar to it. I was a bit hesitant at first to order a mattress online without testing it out, but all the positive reviews and the amazing customer service from Sam at the domain Northside, really convinced me to give it a shot. The bed, without a doubt, is one of the best quality memory foam mattresses out there. My husband and I both love a good firm bed. He's woken up every day now for the past 3 weeks raving about how his posture feels better and how he feels so well rested! My parents wanted to change their bed to the AS2 after trying ours out. They had no issue with the AS3 but felt that it might have been a bit soft for them-- in the long run. ( total preference) Roger got that quickly taken care of and the mattress was delivered within a week! My parents absolutely LOVE LOVE the AS2. I'm admittedly a frequent perpetrator of analysis paralysis, and definitely was guilty of doing so during a recent mattress hunt to replace a 20 year old (don't judge me) pillowtop. So, on the recommendation of a friend, I started investigating the Amerisleep line, which is not one I'd seen too much of on the usual online sources. I hit their website, was prompted to chat, and, what the heck, I bit. I was fortunate enough to connect with Terrence at the Austin Domain store, and was immediately struck with his professionalism, knowledge, and truly friendly demeanor. So much so, in fact, that I was inspired to action out of my indecision. The wife and I headed up there right after work to check out Amerisleep's wares and, as a testimony to Terrence's product knowledge, I found that I did, indeed, prefer the model he suggested via chat (the AS2 Hybrid) over the one I had initially thought I'd like (the AS3 Hybrid - the main difference being the support level. I'm a bigger guy, and the AS2 Hybrid has more support, which I found I liked). So, in short, Terrence was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and, above all, knew what the customer (me) needed. The amerisleep is quite possibly the worst bed I've ever had the misfortune to wake up in. I purchased it because it was voted "best bed of 2019" and id like to know what the credentials were because I hate this bed. I am 27 years old and I get out of this bed in more pain and discomfort than before I got in it. I'm stiff and I can't turn my head. I've never had back issues before but thanks to the amerisleep I get frequent sports massages and I've recently purchased a membership at a chiropractor. Hopefully this review saves someone from making the biggest mistake. Sleep is so important. Do it on a different bed. Don't buy this one. read more

We have had our amerisleep mattress for ~4 years now and it still feels like the day we bought it. There is no noticeable deformation or softness. I am very impressed and if we ever need another mattress we will start with amerisleep. At first I was skeptical of the price, but what an awesome value. We also shopped at Casper and Urban mattress both of which were even more costly and had their own drawbacks. Also we got some free pillows when we got the mattress. We just moved to Austin and were looking for a new king size bed. After reading some reviews, we came across Amerisleep mattresses, which was known for their quality and value for the price. I called the Austin store and spoke to Carter who was incredibly helpful. He answered all of my questions and provided great information on the types of mattresses, levels of firmness, the foundation, etc. He also made himself available for an in-store visit. We came in today and had an incredible experience with Renan. He welcomed us to the store, asked us what brought us in (asked questions to help us meet our needs), and gave us a tour of the store. Well let's say we're not off to a good start. The store is really cool, what happens when you leave the store after spending $2500 is another story. We were given a promise on delivery. We visited Amerisleep twice before making the plunge for a Splt King Adjustable mattresses. Having read just about every review there is online on every mattress company offering these types of bedding; we finally choose Amerisleep. At both visits and ultimately this time, we received outstanding service and dedication to customer quality first! Sam was very helpful and understood our individual needs to getting the best mattress....after all, sleep quality is ~ 50% of every person's life! It was wonderful to be able to take our time testing the mattresses and using the adjustable features. Also that particular weekend, they were running a sale on mattresses so it was a win-win! We have slept on our new beds for a couple weeks now and are loving it! (especially the fact that I can quietly adjust my husband's side when he starts to snore....It works and he knows nothing about it moving up a little!!!!!) The delivery was relatively painless as it came via UPS or FedEx as the parts became available which were kept track of via Amerisleep. The setup went smoothly with no problems! To Katy G who posted a bad review, you didn't write to say you actually tried the bed at the shop b4 you purchased....so going on that I would say you should've before making the purchase. I don't know of anyone (unless one chooses to purchase online) who would want to not try a mattress b4 buying!!! This update is for the "delivery/first blush" and post-100 night phases. We had the mattress and foundation shipped from the factory. I've read reviews about the boxes from this and other mattress companies arriving in a poor state, so I was NOT surprised to see that it wasn't a pristine box -- totally fine, the product was very protected inside. The boxes are quite large, so be prepared!! Assembly of the foundation was as easy as advertised ("it's like putting together large legos"), and then the fun part: getting the mattress out of the sealed package. Lots of precautions not to cut the product as you try to wrestle it out of the plastic, so be cautious! And make sure you're in the room that you want the mattress in because once the mattress is set loose, run for cover, it comes roaring out of that plastic. It was very delightful, and we laughed a lot. It was easy to set on the frame. We let it settle for several hours (I believe the recommended is 2+ hours) before bedtime. We were fully informed that it takes two weeks for the bed to fully settle into what it's going to feel like and not to be alarmed at the firmness to begin with. Expectations set and managed; it was very firm the first night and it was rather firm for two weeks. So if you're wanting to "sleep on a cloud" this may not be the mattress for you. Good news: we love it, absolutely love it. We're sleeping SO well, so comfortable, not aching in the morning, full night's sleep. The firmness is SO helpful. Our bodies are had to get used to it, so initially we were a bit sore in the morning but in that good kind of sore way, if that makes sense? It's really a great mattress that fits our specific needs. I'm pretty sure we've past the 100 night mark, and it's really and truly the perfect mattress for us right now. The firmness has softened just enough for improved comfort compared with those first few weeks, but it's thoroughly a satisfying mattress. I am curious to see how long it lasts, and excited about the 20 year warranty. My only note is that the staff at the Amerisleep showroom told us that they'd be calling us at least once, if not multiple times to check in to see how we were doing during the "break in" period/100 nights -- and we never got a call. It's not a big deal since we are happy with the mattress, but it was weird that they went out of their way to say they'd be calling us to check in and didn't. read more

My husband and I decided we need to replace our name brand mattress after 10 years. We searched at the usual places and decided a pillow top was not for us..So we knew it needed to be another "foam" type mattress. My husband did some searching online reviews of the top mattresses to buy for comfort and honesty, back aches and pains.. I admit it.. we are getting old or our old mattress just started to suck! So the Amerisleep mattress came highly recommended. We looked for the nearest dealer and found they have their own dedicated store right here in Austin at Domain Northside. Woohoo.. just down the road from us. Lo and behold.. you tell them what you need, as in our case... to prevent the back aches and pains at night. So our salesman led us to two of them to try. After laying on them and going back and forth we decided on a firm with a little cushion. Get this... it was less than half the price of our first mattress!!! Sold!! About 4 days later it arrives in a box. You look at the box and say there is in no way a mattress in that thing, what did I do?? But oh yeah there is!! With the help of a friend we drug the box to our bedroom and opened it up. After removing the plastic vacuum sealed packaging the thing started growing into a grown up king sized mattress. I waited a few days to review.. after 3 sleeps on this baby... no more back pain. It miraculously stopped!! The mattress is so comfortable and still firm and holding its shape.. we could not be happier with the product and the service! Thank you Amerisleep! read more

This is now my second time here in the showroom. I recently ordered my second set of tencel sheets (one in dove, and now one in pearl). Walked into this Amerisleep store just to get some questions answered and help finalize my decision on which mattress to purchase, and I walked out making the purchase once and for all. Renan was the sales agent assisting me and he is great! Unbiased opinion answering my questions. He offered me water and apologized repeatedly for making me wait to be assisted, as he was the only sales agent working. Great experience would definitely recommend checking out if you're looking to purchase a mattress. The only thing stopping me from giving this place 5 stars is the fact that there was only one person helping, and I had to wait till he assisted all other customers, not his fault of course! Apparently after receiving my mattress and accessories, it came to my attention that I was missing the bed frame/ foundation. Turns out the foundation was never added to the transaction and therefore, was not included. Now i have to wait another week for the bed and worse I have to coordinate my schedule with work to be here (home) for the delivery. This is so inconvenient, not happy about this. When making the purchase I clearly specified to include the basic bed foundation. My husband and I just visited Amerisleep at the Domain in hopes of finding a new mattress that fit both of our sleep preferences (which are quite different). We had actually just left another mattress store at the Domain where we were not greeted or offered help by any of the staff. This experience was the complete opposite. Just bought our new bed from Amerisleep in the Domain! It's a big decision and a big investment, but it's a well-made bed, and a good nights sleep is priceless. The showroom is cool- very easy to navigate and try different mattresses out. They even have little rooms in the back where you can snuggle under the covers and lie there as long as you like to try out the mattresses. The salesperson, Renan, was very nice and helpful (and not at all pushy). No hidden costs or anything- everything was nice and straightforward as far as prices and options go. We will see how the bed turns out once we get it, of course, but I have high hopes. Will plan on coming back here to update my review once I've had some time to get to know the new bed and get to see how delivery and set-up goes. But for the quality we are getting, I feel like the prices are fair and the warranties are good. Feeling good about our decision. read more

I purchased this mattress after I came to the conculsion that my current mattress was causing me back pain. So I did my research and decided to go with amerisleep. I was about to order online then I found out you had a location in Austin I could go visit. I ordered this mattress on Sunday the 12th at an amerisleep store. Was told it would take 3 to 4 business days to ship. Called amerisleep on Thursday the 16th and was told the mattress has not shipped and could not tell me when it would ship. I canceled order due to frustration and poor customer service. Then I was told that the mattress would be here by Wednesday the 22end. On Monday I had yet to get a tracking number so I canceled order. Funny I was told that Amerisleep could overnight the mattress on Monday. Why was this not offered last week?? So amerisleep gladly excepted my $1100 for a mattress that I have yet to receive or a refund as of Wednesday the 22end. read more

We purchased a mattress from this location about a month ago and it is still to early to rate the mattress but seems to be ok after we added the comfort top. The store did a good job trying to make it a seemless transaction but once the sale was completed it was a nightmare in the delivery and set up. Be prepared to lift a 120 lb torn box from wherever fedex drops it and question hard what white glove delivery is - it was a disaster. Not on time, dropped the bed trying to set up, broke the pillow lift motor then when the manufacturer rep came late they could of cared less. Store manager tried to smooth out transaction with a couple free pillows but one of the owners called and was only concerned about his process problems not how they inconvenienced us. No compensation for my time and trouble. We will see if we keep? Still in 100 day trial. read more
