He was not pushy or salesy at all and was just very nice and helpful. Delivery was only $100 and he said they could deliver it same day! We couldn't believe it. We found a leather reclining couch that we liked and was a great price ($300 less than a similar one we almost bought at another store). We browsed dining room tables while we were there and got one a glass table with 4 chairs for less than $400. What a deal. The delivery guys literally came within 2 hours to our apartment and unloaded, set everything up, and threw away the boxes and trash. Amazing service. One chair had a short leg and so the delivery man took it back and brought a new one 2 days later, even on a holiday weekend! Amazing. In the end, I realized the great selections at Star were not exactly what I wanted. So, Sue had lost hours of working the floor during a big Sale and earned no commission. The sofas and sectionals sold in this store are made in Austin, a definite positive. Delivery times seem very reasonable. We were told the sofas and modular pieces have solid wood frames and no glue. The available fabrics are quite nice, and we noticed that the modular pieces we looked at had reversible bottom and back cushions. The included warranty is excellent and an enhanced one is available for purchase. When we stopped by the store, we were in the early stages of looking so were not yet ready to commit. We found the prices to be on the high end, and still haven't made a purchase, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for quality locally made furniture.

As we started looking around and then we noticed a man walking over to us. He came over and asked if he could help us. We told him we were interested in sectional couches and he showed us one couch and discussed ideas with us and told us to explore the store and to reach out to him if we had any questions. We walked around and sat on different couches to see how they felt and how comfortable they were. We didn't buy anything from here but they do have a lot of furniture to look at.
