    I came in looking for the right recliner, which also led me to get a bedroom set. I blame the staff. The young man was so friendly and so helpful as I entered the store. He also made sure to tell me that Living Spaces had a cafe. I'll get to that later. But first, it's a huge store. I like how the furniture is spaced out, no tight squeeze to get from here to there. The walkways were very spacious. Plus, this gives you a good view. Also, years ago, I bought the Nate and Jeremiah bedroom set. So I know the quality of their furniture and delivery service. I mean, they have the best delivery service, including same-day delivery--the bedroom I purchased on a Sunday at about noon. By the way, the mattress I bought was at a very good price. Well, my bedroom arrived at my place the same day at 6:00pm. The delivery guy put it together in just a few minutes. They had me look over how it was arranged in my bedroom in case I needed to have the set moved to a different area. Now the recliner wasn't in stock, so I had to wait, which I didn't mind at all. On my way to the cafe, I noticed a big play area for children. It was in a glass enclosure. It was pretty nice, with plenty of things for the little ones to do, and I'm sure I saw some of the Living Spaces staff working in that area, too. But the cafe was a lovely surprise. It's a two-story, and can be a standalone restaurant on its own outside of Living Spaces. It's nice to see Living Spaces thought of everything. I ordered the pizza, a bag of nachos, and a drink. The pizza was so good that I thought about stopping by to order the pizza again. But most of all, I want to thank you, Living Spaces, and your staff. I came to your store after a horrific car accident, barely could walk with bruised ribs, lungs, and a busted face. The doctor sent me there to purchase a recliner to heal my broken body. But your team didnt care how I looked, or the moans from pain, or how the tears seeped out. They were there to help. The young gentleman who sold me the recliner was so kind and patient with me. The young lady who sold the bedroom set and the gentleman who sold me the mattress were all so kind. The delivery guys were the best. I couldn't even talk because of the pain. Your delivery guys took charge and set up everything so beautifully. So, I like to say thank you very much!

    Nov 23 review: ----- We've been to this location multiple times for our couch, bed side stool, bed search and have multiple furniture in house from living spaces. Plenty of options and staff is helpful to help with your questions. They also have outlet section with reduced price options. Some of the product as 'As is' which is a really good deal.

    My Order Reciept

    I hate being this guy, I would've preferred to just receive my furniture and go on with my life. January 26 I ordered 2 nightstands and matching dresser for my bedroom, with a delivery date of March 10. Receipt of purchase and delivery date attached. Fast forward March 10, delivery shows up with just 2 nightstands, no dresser. I call to see what's up, they tell me to expect it mid April. I made no fuss at all, despite none of this being relayed to me before hand, shit happens, not going to ruin someone's day over it. I patiently waited through the entire month of April, no emails sent to me no phone calls, nothing. May 1 I email to see where the dresser is at. Daniel with customer service emails me saying that my dresser is out of stock, with no other info relayed to me. After some back and forth he tells me that I knowingly ordered an item that was back ordered, the receipt says other wise. Why would I order something with no estimated arrival. I call customer service May 2, Daniel was a bit condescending and not helpful whatsoever. This customer service rep tells me that my dresser is set to deliver in mid July. I ordered this in January with an initial delivery date of March 10.. I ask to speak to someone else, I get on the phone with Jessica Whittmann. She is helpful, takes charge to get me an answer, says that she's surprised I waited so long to start asking what the heck was going on. I don't hear back from Jessica within a couple days, so tonight I reach back out to my email thread with Daniel contemplating a refund. Daniel tells me he can refund the price of the dresser, but not the delivery fee, because my nightstands were delivered.. I did not pay the delivery fee with the nightstands in mind, I paid it for the giant dresser, I could've picked the nightstands up myself. I am a patient guy, I ordered this stuff 4 months ago, this has been a damn nightmare to deal with. At this point I want my money back, including the fucking delivery fee, and I want to move on from this company. I do not recommend ordering from here. I understand delays; but delays, zero communication, condescending customer service, and stealing my money... now I'm just annoyed and pissed off.

    Before you skip I want to say this place has improved greatly if your looking for an amazing sales rep ask for Will. Back to my original point which is that they reopened the cafe area but now it's a BAR ! Their draft beer is only $2 and the wine is also $2. Correct me if I'm wrong but that beats almost every single restaurant or bar I can think of for draft beer and wine prices . They have pizzas chicken wings and other snacks like hummus and pretzels and churros . I mean seriously I think I'm sneaking over to living spaces to look at "furniture" more often. I mean my wife is super cool and all but if you have the kind that tracks your phone and you need a beer with the boys just tell her your going to living spaces to get her a new area rug. It's like the bar knows that people would be doing that because you can take your bar receipt to the checkout when you buy any furniture item and they will discount your furniture the price of what you spent at the bar up to $50 . It's literally a win win situation all except the fact that at $2 a beer if you make it to $50 on your own you will have to take a uber home. But even more important if your wife is awesome and joins you for some beer or wine and you have kids living Spaces has a kids area with TVs jungle gym and tablets for ages 4-12 where you can check them in while you "shop" so you both can grab a drink without a worry . Then you can sleep it off on a nice recliner or mattress you might end up buying afterwards. It's a suburban parent's dream come true LOL. In all seriousness Living Spaces is one of the few furniture stores with furniture readily available to deliver same day. They have decor and rugs to complete any space so it's a one stop shop and people like Will make the experience pleasant and easy going.

    The quality of the furniture is very poor-quality. The furniture looks good on the outside, but the inside structures, joints, and materials are low-quality. It fell apart after one year. I do NOT recommend purchasing from the company. I think you will regret. There is one company that I recommend is Copen****. The warranties of all three pieces are a scam. Not one fixed. I got ripped off by them. They were supposed to email me the warranty and they said that it was outside the window when the Living Spaces said I have a month to claim it. I called the warranty service to make a claim. They said nope and would not cover. Don't ever buy a warranty EVER!!!!

He yelled at me over the phone, told me that since I was unhappy about my delivery then he will refund me that charge ($50) and I can come pick up my mattresses myself. He hung up in my face. Later on that day I got a call from a different person that said he was bringing the mattresses. I received them almost a hour and a half after that. I'm happy with the mattresses thus far. I checked them upon arrival to ensure they were what I purchased. I was relieved that they decided to deliver the mattresses because after being yelled at by Andrew, I was afraid that I'd needed a male or even a police escort to be with me when I picked up my mattresses to ensure I wouldn't have any issues. I'm still speechless that a business owner would behave this way with a customer, a woman and a complete stranger. Completely out of line. My review stands as is. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. This 1 star review is based on one person's rude and unprofessional manner. I purchased July 8th three mattresses. I needed delivery on July 21st. There is a lot of mishaps between the 21st until now on both ends. Samantha helped me once and she's was great and did her best to help. I missed her messages about delivery one night and I take responsibility for that occurrence. My work day & hours and their delivery days didn't line up for a few weeks since July 21st. Not upset about that. I communicated with different people and received conflicting information once or twice but still wasn't upset. It was annoying but not a deal breaker. I even upgraded my mattress and paid an additional $200...more of my money spent with them. I never had an issue with the owner. He's a cool guy but some of his staff needs to be schooled in customer service. After all of the delivery mishaps on both sides, customer and business, a delivery time was made for Saturday August 2nd between 2-4pm. I communicated that I'd be working that day but I could leave office for a hour in a half for lunch and meet them at my apartment so they could deliver my mattresses. I also told them that I couldn't do this after 5pm as it was too close to my clock out time of 7:15 pm. I was given a window between 2-4 with a 30 minute heads up. Prefect! I called Saturday August 3rd to confirm. I was told that the delivery driver the night before had an incident and couldn't make it in to work but that there was a sub called in that would help. I was suppose to get a call back to confirm those details between 12-1 PM but I never did. 5 PM came and went and as I told them, I could no longer leave the office until 7:15. I called at 5:29 PM to check in, no answer. They called back at 5:32 and I was busy...a mishap. At this point I'm frustrated yes but not upset. I called this morning a little before 11 am to see when the next delivery window was. A guy answered and at first he told me he couldn't see any information until he was in store. He said the store wouldn't open until noon. But he asked my name and that's when things went awry. He proceed to have an attitude with me, was very nasty in tone and proceeded to say he'd contacted me multiple times for delivery. I do not know who this individual is. It sounded as if he'd received complaints from other customers and decided to have a nasty attitude with me because of it. I was never rude to anyone, I never complained up until now, I didn't have an issue until now. To the owner, please teach your employees to have manners and to check their attitudes at the door. To call and receive that type of energy from that individual was insane considering I have not shown any aggression or frustration with anyone regarding my purchase. Life happened on both ends. I thought I was contributing to a small business in my neighborhood. I did not do so thinking I would be bullied over the phone over this purchase.

The staff is so friendly and informative and made me feel right at home while browsing. This is a massive showroom with sections for various kinds of furniture, from beds and mattresses to home theater and lots more. But the best part is that behind a plexiglass wall at the back of the store you can actually see the furniture being made in front of you while you shop. It's so cool they make furniture here in Austin and it's worth the trip just to see the factory at work and get a glimpse of the whole process. Looking through the showroom it was great seeing the variety of furniture available and so many different materials and textures too. Since you're right at the factory there's so much customization available and it's fun seeing all the fabric samples in different colors and types, imagining just how you'd want your finished product to look. I'm impressed with the showroom from the standpoint of high tech displays too. There's a massive screen in the home theater section that's a great place if you have a bored husband or kids, and there's even a tiny drinks cafe near the front although it was closed when I went. While I was sad to see the old location close a while back with their comical concrete couch out front with giant inflatable couch potatoes that always made me chuckle, this new location is light years ahead and a fantastic upgrade.

We encountered several ... like 8 salespeople…read morebefore Christy listened to us and resolved our problems from an initial sale where the wrong furniture was delivered and the wrong platform for a bed was sold to 2 elderly people. It was too high to climb into! Christy heard us out and looked up the order, arranged for the right box springs to be exchanged and helped us get the right recliner. Unlike ALL of the other salespeople she had no issue helping out a customer who worked with another salesperson. Once the others greeted us, heard we had worked with someone else it was hands off ... only guidance..you need to go back to the original salesperson. In this case they were at another store in another city and did not understand a customers needs to recommend the right stuff from yhe beginning. Christy saw the delivery through to the end. So if you want furniture Star has beautiful furniture. But ask for Christy...don't work with anyone else. And Star, if you are reading this review train your salespeople to help everyone and more so train them to learn what a person really needs. You have an amazing selection. But you have no clue how to sell to old people! If you want some one to come train your folks on old people , aging and furniture I have the person for you!

    BLUF: The Star Furniture Store seemed to do some deceptive commerce acts that felt like they were…read moredoing a bait and switch on us. The details are below and I have pictures and text messages to back this up. On 24 Aug 2025: Star Furniture consultant (Maria P) informed us a price on a new bed frame was good for 2 weeks and that we had time to go purchase a new mattress, then when we knew the mattress delivery date we could order the bed frame to be delivered on the same day. This baited us to call back after we purchased the mattress. Sale Price: $2669 List Price: $3669 On 28 Aug 2025: We called back to purchase the bed from and were told (By consultant Angela) the was now $4787. That was $2116 more than we were quoted 4 days prior and told the price was good for 2 weeks. Sale Price: $4787 List Price: $6587 On 1 Sep 2025: We thought it was an error. So, we called back to talk with the original consultant (Maria P) a few days later. The original consultant remembers us and said she would try to get the price down but failed to do so. This seemed to be a deceptive practice in commerce. Telling us the price was good and then encouraging us to come back later to make the final purchase, and then jacking the price up. I left a very bad feeling that we were trying to be taken advantage of. So, we ended up going to a different furniture store to purchase the bed frame. This is sad because we liked a lot of items they had for sale and may have purchased more items at the location if they hadn't done the bait switch.
