    Marinated Seafood

We ordered the assorted marinated seafood platter thinking it was for 2 people. It can definitely feed 4 people since it had four of each piece of seafood. I especially loved the jumbo shrimp and the marinated crab was quite meaty as well. Sooo filling and we wish we could've tried other dishes.

My cousins and I loved this Master Oh's! Food was high quality, tons of banchan, and generous service. Taste: We loved everything! I especially loved the spring cabbage banchan and the pork stew. Service: The best. They were quick and generous. Plaza: Very easy parking

They accept Tap to pay/Apple Pay. When we sat down, my partner and I both realized that we forgot our wallets! But luckily Master Oh's accepts Apple Pay! Phew! We ordered the Spicy Raw Marinated Crab, Beef Tartare and Stone Bibimbap with Spicy Pork. The Spicy Raw Marinated Crab comes with a rice bowl topped with fish roe! The crab itself which was really creamy. The spice level is pretty mild (and I'm bad with spice) so it was a great level of spice for me. The beef tartare was really fresh. The egg yolk was creamy and tied the whole dish together. I did get a bit overwhelmed with how "rich" tasting the tartare was after my 5th bite but it was still good nonetheless. The stone bibimbap came out piping hot. The stone was hot enough to make the rice crispy! The portion was massive but the bibimbap was so good that my partner finished his serving. If it were me, it definitely would've taken me two meals to get through.

My girl friend and I went Master Oh and honestly it didn't live up to my expectations, especially considering how many Korean diners were there. The bossam was disappointing. The meat looked kind of sad (very thin) and didn't taste great (kinda dry), and there weren't any fresh vegetables to balance it out. The marinated crab was probably the highlight, flavorful but still not the best I've had. It also took quite a bit of effort to crack and dig out the meat. Then we mixed the crab meat with rice. The tteokbokki ramen was very basic and nothing memorable. But it's good to have. Overall, the experience was pretty meh. If I come back, it would only be for the crab, but there are definitely better Korean spots out there :(

There was a bit of a wait but the host and servers were very friendly and hospitable. The food was presented well; the raw crab was unique and the favors were excellent. However I was shocked that they only gave one small crab considering the price of $45. Everything else was average. I'd probably come again but not sure if that crab is worth it as that's the only thing that makes this place stand out.

Great value. Portion size is huge! It'd be a great spot to come with friends so that you can share the food. I ordered their barley rice combo, and opted for the raw crab and kimchi stew option. It was my first time trying raw crab, so I don't really have a baseline for comparison. I will say that I liked the saucing they did for the crab and the fact that that gave me two pairs of gloves for this. It was also my first time having barley rice and I loveeeeeed it. I saved the sauce from the raw crab and poured it in. It was amazing. I do have general bias for barley item though. As for the kimchi stew. I did not like it at all. The broth was way too sour for my liking, and the kimchi slices they kept in the stew were giant/thick stem portion. Side note, I did not like how they marinated their kimchi for the banchan either, so maybe I just didn't like their kimchi in general. Their other banchans were very good though. We asked for seconds on half of them.

Really delicious Korean food! I'm usually not too big a fan of raw marinated crab since a lot of places usually overpower the crab itself with the seasoning, but the spicy raw marinated crab here is amazing. You get the seasoning flavours, but still the flavours of the raw crab, and the texture is very creamy. If you don't want to commit to having too much crab, then the barley rice set menu is amazing - the barley rice portion is generous, and the ability to get a smaller raw marinated crab with some kimchi stew is great. The variety of vegetables with the barley rice were nicely done too. The beef short rib soup is a must get - the broth is rich, and the meat really delicious. They add a bit of vermicelli, but it's not enough for a single meal. Nonetheless it tastes great. Service is great, and the banchan delicious as well! Highly recommend

4.5 stars! a super solid korean spot if you are tired of the usual pochas in the area! banchan here is super yummy and delicious :) Barley Rice Set with Beef 8.5/10 I will say, the barley rice here is sooo good! It pairs so well with all the toppings and the beef is juicy and marinated with delicious umami sauce. We also got barley rice on the side with one of our dishes and it comes with this salty/seafood puree and that made it taste so much better Clam Noodle Soup 9/10 - light soup with tons of clams, they also use hand made noodles here with the perfect amount of chew! It's a pretty big bowl so this dish is affordable and shareable for sure Seafood Pancake 100/10 - this was the best seafood pancake I've had, because of how unique and different it is compared to other restaurants. They use some crispy noodles as the coating and it added the perfect crunch, I would love to come back and order this again. They have lots of shareable plates here with protein so next time I'd love to try that with a big group!

    Galbitang
    Christine L.

overall a solid place for comfort food galbitang was amazing, soup is very savory and has lots of fatty, tender meat seafood pancake was nice and crispy, paired with an excellent salty dipping sauce, and the portions are big, justifying the slightly higher price seollangtang was a bit bland compared to other dishes even after adding a lot of salt, imo there's better in the south bay Japchae and fish cake banchan are soo good

I was able to call in a reservation on a Friday night for a party of six for Saturday morning, which was easy and convenient--but in the end, it wasn't really necessary since there were plenty of open tables when we arrived. The dining room felt relaxed and unhurried, which made it a comfortable spot for a larger group meal. We ordered 감자탕 (pork back-bone potato stew), 아귀찜 (spicy braised monkfish), and 떡볶이 (tteokbokki), and every dish came out in very generous portions. 감자탕 and 아귀찜 are dishes I don't often see on Korean menus in the Bay Area, so I was pleasantly surprised not only to find them here but also to have them taste genuinely good and well-balanced. The tteokbokki rounded everything out nicely and made the table spread feel even more abundant. The service here is phenomenal: staff checked in on us frequently, refilling side dishes and making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. While the food is on the pricier side, the combination of portion size, quality, and flavor makes it feel worth the splurge. The only downside is parking--since the restaurant is in a small plaza next to a bakery and another restaurant, be prepared to circle the neighborhood a bit or street park if the lot is full.

Date: Saturday, December 13th, 2025 Time: 12:45pm Party of: 2 Meal: Lunch *Tteokbokki ($19) *Beef Tartare ($29) *Barley Rice Set Menu ($33) - Kimchi Stew, Pork Bulgogi *Soy Sauce Marinated Crab ($45) I was meeting up with a girlfriend. She adores Korean food and I was craving ganjang-gejang, so we decided to come here. I arrived first and was seated right away. They gave us part of an 8 top in the center of the dining room, so it ended up being a communal table of sorts. They are individual booths along the walls that seat parties of 2-4. The crab definitely fulfilled my craving. And I was glad they sell them individually since my gf isn't really into raw seafood. I had the whole crab more or less to myself. The other dish I got was the beef tartare. A good portion. The asian pear and egg yolk complemented it well. Tho I typically like it with a bit of black pepper and sesame oil. Rice cakes aren't really my thing, but I enjoyed the fish cakes in it. The pork was a nice set. Since my gf only wanted the pork more or less, I took all her bibimbap type sides and added them to my rice. Glad I discovered this spot. Not may people do soy sauce marinated crab. REVIEW #3937

This used to be Bapsang. I was bummed to hear Bapsang closed its doors, I thoroughly enjoyed the food there. My friend told me about about Master Oh's. I'm not sure if Bapasng was sold or simply rebranded. Almost everything is the same inside; the decor, the setting, and looks like come of the staff members from Bapsang stayed on as well. Master Oh's still pulling a good amount of Korean OG's...always a good sign. We did discover some additional parking in the rear, especially since the parking lot was full this evening. Service was brilliant! more on that later... #Mukbang: ~ Banchan (반찬) - 4/5 A good assortment of Banchan. We thoroughly enjoyed almost all the side dishs, very tasty. I think there was one dish we were not familiar with. ~ (Gamja-Tang) Pork Backbone Stew (감자탕) - 4.5/5 Not so sure I'd call this a stew, it's more like a hearty soup to me...but what would I know. I is not Korean. I'm not all that familiar with Pork Stew, I usually get the Beef stew at Korean restaurants. This was something different, but brilliant nonetheless. Tender pieces of pork backbone simmered in a rich, spicy broth with veggies. ~ Combination Grilled Beef Intestines (오듬곱창) - 4.5/5 I think this might be their specialty. From what we were told, this was one of the most popular dishes here. Different cuts of Intestines, (which I didn't know about) served with veggies on a Cast iron BBQ pan. Its a good amount, very filling. I'm not sure if the owner on the manager that was helping us, but he basically cooked our food for us! Which was extremely helpful since we didn't know what we were doing...lol. A very pleasant gent that was friendly and gave us lots of good information. He did mention even in Korea this dish is a bit of a rarity, as they don't use different cuts of intestines. The rest of the staff was very helpful as well. We were checked on regularly without the overbearing feeling and our Banchan was refilled regularly as well. We were definitely taken care of and never felt rushed or neglected. Now I'll need to return with a bigger group so I can try more dishes. The portions are large and are meant to be shared. 건배!

It seems like this place has been remodeled, or a new business came in? I think it used to be Bapsang? Regardless, the interior looks the same, if not identical. It was nice to return. Our party of three shared: Barley rice set (with kimchi stew and spicy raw marinated crab) and soy marinated crabs. The dishes came with complimentary banchan, which all were so yummy. I love the variety in kimchi banchan, and the japchae was perfectly seasoned. I enjoyed that the most. My friends were craving raw marinated crabs, therefore our choice of dishes. It definitely satisfied the cravings, the sauce for the spicy raw marinated crab was delicious - we used it to add to our rice. However, I'm not sure if it aligns well with the pricing. The dishes themselves are quite expensive (from $35-$45, depending), with only a few crab legs. I can make more with a lower priced option from the market. The total (without gratuity) came out to be around $85. Out of everything we had though, I do think the barley rice tea set was the most worth it - you get rice, vegetables, choice of soup and entree. I would recommend doing this option for maybe a pair/duo. I would recommend passing on the raw marinated crabs, I think you can find a better quantity option somewhere else for the price. Service was really friendly and nice. Servers continued to check in on us and asked if we wanted more banchan. I hope to return, but maybe try out some of their other dishes.

They were generous with the tarter sauce and vinegar, which I appreciated, but I personally didn't love the taste of the tarter sauce. It had maybe carrots or something in it and I wish it were more tangy. It gets the job done but I might make my own next time. I also got a cup of clam chowder. It was tasty but being from SF I've had much better chowder elsewhere. I would skip this next time. The stand out here was the service I got from Javi. He took my phone order and was polite and courteous without "doing too much." He was the one to also ring me up and hand me my order and he was, again, chill but also super nice. He did a great job. It would be unfair to not share the low point of my experience, even though I hate putting people on blast. While I was picking up my order, there were two female employees standing behind Javi behind the register. One of the ladies was braiding the other ones hair. In food service it's really important not to touch your hair - you should be ready to work before you arrive, or head to the bathroom to take care of any grooming. In the moment I just tried to shrug it off but then the lady braiding the hair sprayed some kind of hair product to finish things off, and I later realized my food was sitting on the counter right next to them. It really disturbed me how they didn't see their behavior as inappropriate and it didn't bother them at all that I was being rung up while they were doing this. I'm a little torn about whether or not I would return. Again, the service from Javi was great and the fish and chips were definitely good - no complaints there. However I didn't love everything I got with my meal and I'm not sure how seriously they take cleanliness given the employees doing their hair in the front.

I understand there is a lot of butter in seafood boil sauce mixtures, but that was all I tasted here. Food: - Combo 1: Mussels and head-on shrimp with atomic bomb sauce. The pasta noodles were cooked al-dente. The sauce tasted like Nissin Cup Noodles Chicken flavor ramen seasoning, not really Louisiana style. Very disappointing, but it had the most flavor compared to combo 1. Unfortunately, I do not see myself revisiting as there are a variety of other seafood boil places in the Bay Area (especially east side SJ).
