I asked for and booked a sports massage & firm pressure. I did not put down my specific areas in intake form b/c I feel as though ppl don't read them. I prefer telling the massage therapist what is going on. I did. The therapist came in, did not introduce herself. Nothing. I said; "my hips are tight, I believe it's my psoas and lower back and glutes". "Can you spend time on my right hip" She kept massaging my back. okay, I thought.. she will work her way to my leg. NOPE. I asked again. Can you please massage my legs, esp my lower back and hip. She rubbed my neck. I repeated my self... my legs. She rubbed my head. After the fourth time, I gave up. So pissed off. Massage therapist did not speak English so did not know what I was even saying. I found this language barrier issue out when I told the front desk and manager that I was upset b/c she did NOT give me a sports massage. Manager responded. Can you stay and we can work your legs now. I said; NO. I have to go and I don't have time to get undressed again. So annoyed. They gave me a gift cert. Why would I go back to a place that provided crappy service to begin with. Worst massage place I have ever been to. As an athlete that has been to a number of massage establishments ~ waste of time & money. Do not recommend if looking for good sports massage.

Wonderful massage with Recon!…read more The entire facility is so cute and cozy, covered in absolutely gorgeous Thai decor. Vibrant and colorful fabrics and tapestries. Lots of elephants, of course. They also had contemporary jazz renditions of Christmas music playing in the background, which I much preferred to the same old songs they play on the radio over and over again. Recon and Boom were both so warm and welcoming. Boom took my shoes and offered me tea as Recon prepared the room for my service. The massage experience was a little different than the traditional massages that I'm used to but it was so incredibly relaxing. It's performed on a heated, plush mat on the floor, instead of a massage table but there is a headrest as well as a chest pillow provided. I've been to spas before where they have offered both massages and therapeutic stretch sessions. Thai massages offer the best of both worlds... without booking two separate services. I got the Thai herbal massage experience. It started with a brief foot bath and foot massage before I took my place on the heated floor mat. Throughout the experience, Recon alternated between stretching, massage, walking on my back (don't worry, He used the walker to make sure he didn't put too much pressure on my muscles and joints), and using a bouquet of herbs to help relax my muscles. When I first stepped into the room, it was a little bit humid. That's because there was a pot of herbs boiling in the room, and those same herbs were what were used to prepare the bouquet for my massage. Recon also used the spa's version of Tiger Balm on the spots where I was experiencing the most stiffness, and I felt amazing afterward. It smells more like Vicks than the traditional Tiger balm, and they wipe it off with a hot towel before the end of your massage...so you won't go out into the world smelling like liniment. That 60 minutes went really quickly and afterwards all I wanted to do was lay on that heated floor mat and take a nice long nap. Boom brought me more herbal tea as I returned to the lobby, and I had a nice chat with her while Recon tended to his next client. Before he left, Recon bagged up the herbal bouquet from my appointment for me to take home, and gave me instructions on how to use it. Nice! Both Boom and Recon are just so lovely and helped to make this a really wonderful experience... One that I look forward to enjoying again very soon.

I had wanted to check this place out, but the person I was with had other plans. Nevertheless, I saw the cost for your massage. One hour for $80 is a little step. I have paid this price before, but I think I will stick we with $60 to $50 an hour. Still, I am happy to see the prices on your website. You are taking your website business more seriously than others I have seen. I will be checking this place out this year of 2025 I look forward to being able to write about the massage experience and other features inside this building.

But it's rather easy to get to if you're coming from a little ways away. Like any Arlington spot, you can find street parking, a garage around the corner, or metro.
