As someone who suffers from chronic neck pain, I really need someone who can get in the muscle deep. So when I say I need a deep tissue massage, I mean I need DEEP. Most of the time, I have to direct my masseuse what to focus on and what I need in terms of pressure and most of the time they listen. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I was paired up with a female masseuse who was sweet enough in manner but didn't seem to speak much English so when I asked her to only focus on my neck or when I kept asking for deeper pressure, she was respond in agreement but then would proceed to continue doing what I asked her not to do. I specifically asked her to only focus on my upper back/neck area and not to do my whole body. She did work on my upper area but then proceeded to do the rest of my body when I asked her not to. I know they are trained to do full body massages but the purpose of getting a massage for a lot folks is to get some relief from pain or tight muscles with specific attention to problem areas. If I'm going to pay an inordinate amount of money for an hour massage, I'd rather not have it wasted on parts of my body I don't need worked on. Needless to say, I realized I can't get what I really need here, so while I appreciated the good service overall, I will continue my journey for a great masseuse elsewhere.

This is located in falls church under an apartment building but there was plenty of parking out front. It was easy to make an appointment and we had no trouble using the Groupon. We were greeted nicely when arriving and allowed to pick out our essential oils which was nice. They had about 5 scents (tea tree, jasmine, rose, and I can't remember the others but we chose jasmine). The massage was great, it was so relaxing. My favorite part was the hot stone as it was needed. We both sit down all day for work so the massage helped our back pain. We were even offered 15 extra minutes for $17 each which we accepted. I would definitely come back here and I'd like to try another one of their services such as a deep tissue or Swedish to really help my back. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage so much that he even purchased another Groupon to go back next week. Highly recommend!

She also lowered my underwear without asking, and massaged the upper area of my buttocks - it was fine, however I wish she would have asked or warned me. To be honest I actually just froze when she did it. I also know that some people get a massage completely nude, but I wish she had some forethought about "maybe this person is wearing underwear for a reason, and I should ask if I can move them around." Overall I would not return. I could see some people being completely fine with what my experience was, but if you are anything like me - I would voice your preferences loud and clear beforehand.

East Wing Massage has been in Vienna for many years but somehow, this is the…read morefirst time we have gone.  The massage was thorough and a good pressure and the facilities were clean and quiet.  We appreciated the soft music playing but only wish it could have been commercial free as the ads kind of broke the tranquil mood of the music.  The staff was very pleasant and the charge is very reasonable.  Our only other suggestion might be to have a little more light in the treatment rooms as customers are getting ready for the massage.  It was pretty dark and hard to see where to put things.  These points are minor and we were very happy with the massages we received and would definitely recommend East Wing Massage.  There is also plenty of parking and it is conveniently located.
