My friend introduced me and now it has become my go to massage place! I go at least once a month. The staff are incredible and very inviting. The space is quiet, and they play relaxing music in the background making it easy to forget the outside exists for a little bit!! Every staff member I've gotten has been excellent in their massage technique and I always leave feeling so much lighter and relieved of tension. 13/10 recommend. read more

Went for a Swedish massage and really appreciated the flexibility in times. I was a last-minute booking, almost walk-in and they were the most available and flexible to a late time on the exact day that I wanted. My masseuse did a great job. She was very good with medium pressure and targeting the areas that I circled when I walked in. 4 stars for the fact that the rooms are open at the top so you can still hear ppl near the front desk and as a result the lighting also seeps into the rooms so it's not as dim / dark as it usually can get when getting a massage read more

I woke up with a stiff neck and could not turn my head to the right. I scheduled a deep tissue massage and hot stone massage this morning. Jenny was superb and helped me to relax. This was my first visit and I will definitely return. The price was very reasonable. Two 60-minute services for less than $200. read more

my absolute favorite massage lace i've ever been to. including high end spas. The staff is extremely nice and goes out of their way to give you the treatment you want - I love that I can book by texting them the day of, that their prices are so reasonable, and that they have people who can actually do deep tissue. my only complaint is that they seem to have a lot of turnover so if I really love someone and ask for them by name next time, they don't work there anymore. read more

My best friend treated me to a massage. I got one from Nancy and she got one from Jennifer. I'll def be coming back. I can't remember the last time I got a massage where I was relaxed enough to doze off. I wish I got the 90 min instead of 60. Never wanted it to end. Recommend!!! read more

I have gone to this place since they were in the Clarendon area. It has always been no frills, and the staff has always had difficulty communicating in English but you could always communicate what you needed to after a second try, and the quality massages were consistently great. This place may be under new management because my last 3 visits have been just awful. The team is cold. That's not a deal breaker but they also don't speak English well enough to get by with a combo of miming and pointing. My last massage was the last straw. I went in for a simple issue, explained it to the front desk, and when we got to the room I reiterated the issue. The masseuse did not understand after 3 tries, got the front desk person to come back to interpret, and then we got started. I went in for one issue that was to be the majority of our time. 5 times I had to ask to go back to that area for more time. Even then she would nod then move on or ignore. So I grabbed my phone and used a translator app. She understood but even then didn't place the focus where I asked. I was in as much pain leaving as when I arrived, only more frustrated. They need to hire better trained staff and to require some minimum proficiency, or put other measures in place- like having the front desk ppl come back to talk through instructions during the first 2-3 minutes. I won't go back. read more

Coco and Nancy were fantastic. Thank you. I will be back. Very relaxing and great couple massage

I went in without an appointment for a 30 minute massage. I left feeling battered. It was awful. I kept asking to slow down, leave a certain spot alone. He was going a mile a minute. It was the worst massage I've ever had. I'm in more pain now then when i walked through the door. My back is completely bruised. read more

Bye Bye Stress Massage - Massage Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

We went to this location years ago (2018-2019) and liked it so much we kept going back even though it was a bit far from us. Unfortunately, the pandemic came along and we skipped massages for quite a long time. We recently moved nearby and decided to give it a try again and they did not disappoint! We booked a couples massage for 90 minutes with Frank and Mary. Neither of us can remember having massages that good. They spent the time focused on the areas we requested, with the pressure we requested, and we both left feeling so much better! Appointment was easy to book on the website. They sent reminders for the appointment and confirmed booking preferences before the appointment (gender of masseuse, single or shared room). As a side note- there are now signs in every room not to touch the masseuse and to basically be appropriate in their business. Not sure what people are thinking these last few years (though I can obviously guess by the signs), but no one goes to work to be assaulted so keep your hands TO yourself but OFF yourself. These folks are amazing! Give them some respect so they can do their work! read more

They know exactly where the tension points are and I always leave feeling better. Best in NOVA.

Correction to the massage therapist's name in my previous review it is Yoyo not Koko, I misheard it during the initial visit. In a return visit today she did an equally wonderful therapeutic massage as my first visit. All the knots and tightness from extensive holiday driving was completely undone under her skilled care. I feel so much better, relaxed, and loose. This place is a gem and is highly recommended. read more

Everything was perfect. Clean, friendly staff. Very professional. It's now my favorite place for a relaxing, peaceful, and refreshing massage. You owe it to yourselves to try it. Trust me. They're worth it. read more

Very nice place, i loved my stay and they were nice and took good care of me. I will definitely visit again

Lisa gave me the best massage I have had in a long time! And it lasted the entire 60 minutes (not 50 min like you get at other places). Will definitely ask for her again. read more

I highly recommend Yoyo for deep tissue massage. She went above and beyond trying to get all my knots out. They were gracious with accommodating my walk-in with only 5 minutes notice. Very sweet staff. I look forward to returning soon. read more

No spa frills, but thoroughly amazing massages and easy to get in "last minute!" Great value!

I love this place. It's a no frills kind of place. This is my preference. I don't need to pay extra for the "extra" ambiance. Every massage I've had there has been consistent so I never feel disappointed to go from one masseuse to another. I'm confident if I walk in at any time of day, I'll get the deep massage I need. read more

Amazing deep massage that got all my stressed areas. 60 minutes long that hit every point I said was sore/tight. Would go again!

My back was having some spasms from being on my feet all day the day before and so I needed to get a massage and found this place on Yelp. Check in was super easy and I felt the place was definitely clean and pleasant inside. They certainly got all the kinks out of my back and definitely worked on my lower body as well. I love a place that has no frills and the masseuse I had seemed to know the spots to target so that you walk away feeling that your body went through its own workout. I felt the price was reasonable for the massage that I received compared to other shops in the area. My only issue was that I had to park in the neighborhood along the street which wasn't a big deal but it would have been nice to have a parking space up front. Overall I would go back and come to this place because it's nice and convenient and the prices are pretty good for the service they provide. read more

My go to place in Arlington! Only good experiences here and honestly can't beat the prices. $68 for a 60 minute deep tissue? Very reasonable for this area and I am there for it. I've been here about 6 times now, and it's super easy to schedule an appointment -- they often can take you same day, as majority of the times I've gone it's been a last minute spontaneous decision. The place itself is not a day spa "fancy" vibe whatsoever. It's literally just a simple place to go in get a massage and get out... and I will say, they get the job done. They always use hot stones at some point which is amazing and always included. Only downside about is that you have to pay $5 extra if you pay with card, so make sure to bring CASH for payment & tip!! read more

Staff is welcoming & nice. Yoyo took care of me today and was awesome! The masseuses here work really hard :)

I can't remember the man's name who did my massage but I've gone twice and would go more but time and money has gotten away from me Lol but he was AMAZING it was a great experience, quiet perfect low ambiance clean and very private. I would definitely recommend. Also I get my nails done right next door (Orchid Nails AMAZING (Tommy and ViVi everyone ) read more

Solid work! If you looking for a good massage but not all the "bells and whistles" of a spa. This is your spot. On arrival, you enter their waiting area to check in. Your then lead to a dark hallway of sub-divided rooms/large cubicles. You can kinda hear the chatter in other rooms, especially when it's a new client and they have to explain how things are done. I had a 60 minute deep tissue and 30 minute reflexology combination. It was amazing! My masseuse applied the pressure I wanted and it was exactly what I needed. The prices were good and plenty of combinations for massages. I recently came back from a long vacation and work week. They were able to work out all my knots. The place is a no frills, clean spa. I would definitely return. There is parking in front with limited spots. But parking on the side streets are available. They take credit cards but use cash for tips :) read more

Thanks to everyone else who reviewed and led me here! Agree with other reviews. The facility itself is not a super fancy/spa-like atmosphere, but it gets the job done. And better than some nicer places. My masseur, Amy, was absolutely wonderful. It felt amazing. The rooms do not have doors, just curtains, so you need to whisper the whole time and you can sometimes hear when the person next to you is getting those quick, light touches at the end of a massage that I have no idea what are called but you know the ones I mean, the only kind of a massage touch that makes any noise. Note that they prefer all cash, for both the massage and tip. Prices are different for cash and card, which I was a little put off by at first, i've never see that anywhere but a gas station, but of course the truth is the difference in amounts makes up for the fee taken when a customer uses the card option, which I am sure makes a big difference for a small business over time. And it is great to support a small business by paying in cash! Cash or no though, I will definitely be back because Amy made me feel SO MUCH BETTER! My muscles have been really achey lately, small movements were hurting me. She did a wonderful job and I am so glad to have found this place. read more

Had a wonderful massage at Bye Bye yesterday and it was much needed! Don't be fooled by the lack of decor because the massages are well worth it. The ambiance is a little elementary and plain BUT the technicians make up for it. They work out your problem areas for the FULL time of the session and use various different techniques. They don't skimp on massage time at all, not to mention they are very reasonably priced, about $60 for 60 minutes. If you need a quick in & out massage session, Bye Bye Stress is the place to go. I'll be back for sure! read more

This is my go-to massage place. Great massages, easy to schedule, good location, very reasonable prices. I buy my massages in packs and use a voucher every time I need a little pick-me-up. Couple's massages are also available - which I love, because it can be nice not to go alone. The only little problem is parking - I would recommend parking on the street if the lot is full. read more

Always a great experience and affordable! This was my second time here and my husband's first time ever getting a massage! He was a little nervous so we did the couples' massage and were put in the same room divided by a curtain. Both therapists did a great job focusing on knotted and tight areas with the perfect amount of pressure. We left feeling loose and relaxed! Just what we needed on our day off! Parking is limited. There are a few spots in the front but were all taken so we parked on the street. Make sure to pay attention to the hours on the signs. read more

Great no frills massage! Been coming for years. Only 4 start just because no frills but really is 5 to me

They are all very welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Iris put some serious time and work into my shoulders, that lady is strong!!! They made me feel safe and comfortable during my experience and I'll definitely be back! :) read more

I bought a couples massage for my anniversary with my wife.We were very pleased with our experience. Everyone was professional, They applied perfect pressure for both of us. They focused on my trouble areas around my neck and shoulders. We were given water afterwards. I hope to come back here more often. Thank you all for such a wonderful experience. read more

I used to go here when they were based in Clarendon a few years ago! I was pleased to see the business was still around when we came back to the DMV area, and that they continue to offer an affordable massage with some nice touches (hot stone, bottled water at checkout) in a clean but no-fuss setting (note: spaces are separated but not soundproof). Masks are to be worn at all times including during service. Bruce doesn't seem to be around anymore, sadly. However, Amy and Kiki did our couples massage and they are both very strong and delivered consistent deep pressure. Bring cash for a slightly lower session fee and for tip. The (new to me) location has a slightly tricky parking lot -- it's horizontally wide but skinny, and immediately off the road. Watch oncoming traffic if you have to back up. read more

This was the first time I got a massage here and it was an amazing experience - I will definitely be going back again! It was $68 (60 minutes) with cash (but make sure to take some more for tips!). The place isn't very fancy but I think that if you're looking for a great massage at a good cost and don't care about the ambiance too much, then you should give this a try. The masseuse assigned to me was very sweet and took my concerns very seriously. I got a deep tissue massage and after my 60 minutes were up, I felt so so relaxed - I can see myself coming here every month or so. Highly highly recommend. read more

I been here about five times and I've only had good experiences. I'm talking about falling asleep, moaning (pause), mind-and-body-is-melting type of massages. When they are done, I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. When you come in they give you a paper to fill out that you use to tell them where you want massaged on your body and the intensity. They use hot stones for all the massages and they wipe the oils off afterwards with a hot damp towel. Its quite lovely. The prices are competitive. It's like we are living back when the Clinton administration was running things. $100 (cash) for 90 mins? Say less. But here is the thing. The joint isn't a looker. It's not where you go for ambiance and spa vibes. It's a bare bones type of joint. A bunch of rooms lined up with curtains as doors. The person in the next room coughs, you will definitely hear it. All things said, it's my new massage spot. read more

Always consistently good massage, flexible scheduling, and good prices. Parking right out front too. Awesome place.

Fantastic massage and even better prices! I walked in on a Saturday evening and was told they could take me in an hour at 8pm. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who did my massage but I can't. Both the receptionist and the masseuse were extremely friendly and efficient. The masseuse was very thorough and she stopped periodically to make sure she was applying the pressure I needed. They've earned themselves a regular client! read more

They were incredibly available and were able to get me in on the same day I called. While they were polite, I felt like there were some communication barriers/they just didn't communicate much, so as a massage newbie I was left guessing what was happening. I was massaged with a sheet fully covering me for about twenty minutes. I tried telling her she could remove the sheet. I'm not sure if it was part of the process but I got uncomfortably hot. I usually run cold so it was a weird feeling for me to fight the urge to throw the sheet off because I felt so stuffed up. I'd indicated I wanted medium pressure. She checked in at first, but then went deeper and deeper to the point that I was in a lot of pain. I figured that I would just try to roll with it, because she probably knew what she was doing. After getting up the morning, I feel like I got hit by a bus. I've been incredibly tired and my back is screaming in pain. Maybe this is normal and I'll be singing her praises in a couple more days. I would just recommend speaking up if they seem to linger too long in one area or go too deep. She did an awesome job on my lower half which feels great today! read more

I just had a massage at this place and it was probably one of the best I've ever had. The masseuse used hot stones (although not requested) and they felt wonderful! I note that some folks complain about the atmosphere here; I'm not there for atmosphere. I'm there for a good massage and I got a great one. I would highly recommend this establishment! read more

Updated after second visit: my second massage was with Amy and she did a wonderful job as well! Adjusted everything the way I asked and checked the pressure a few times. Great massage! Just had a 90 minute massage with Chloe (?) and she was great! She did everything I asked and checked for the pressure a few times. Little difficult communicating but when she figured out what I'm trying to say she changed it right away. They add hot stones to the massage which was nice. read more
