I arrived a little early and was escorted upstairs to an appropriate private room. The massous was an Asian female. She was very pleasant and we managed with her lack of English. This was a straight-forward no pre-interview type of situation which was fine since I had no need to relate any medical or other historical information. The massage was very good quality and covered all the areas required for an athletic type body and body areas. There was some minor stretching done and it was apparent the massous was capable and knowledgeable of appropriate pressures and anatomy. I was very pleased with quality and price. I will return. End.

The reviews were kind of mixed so I hope I can clear it up for anyone else considering Live Health Center! I came here for a couples massage with mini facials and a foot bath with reflexology (Groupon deal, also check deals on their website). We arrived a half hour early and were prepared to wait, however they immediately took us back. It is true that the walls do not go all the way up and you can hear other noises, but I don't feel this took away from the experience at all. The staff were amazing and so attentive for the entire two hours. By the end we were so relaxed. I would definitely recommend and we will be returning! For others like me who will be having their first spa experience, let me just give a few more details...When we were taken back to our room, we were told to take off our clothes. We were both unsure if we should be completely naked or leave on the little bits. I would recommend leaving on underwear for anyone who is not comfortable. Everything else will need to come off for the oil massage, but you're covered by a blanket the entire time. They may adjust the blanket to reach your thighs or butt (yes, they massage your butt lol), which sounds like it would be uncomfortable but actually isn't after the initial shock. The hot stones feel amazing for anyone thinking of trying them! I totally recommend. As far as tipping, it's like any other service. Yes, you should tip. We tipped a little over 20% for the priced paid because we enjoyed it so much. Try it out you won't regret! A true bang for your buck compared to other places we checked out online.

It seems like the only customers they have are from GroupOn and LivingSocial coupons which makes total sense because they are just looking for one time only customers because I cannot see them having any repeat customers after the experience I had. Lily is completely unprofessional and argumentative. She kept insisting that the LivingSocial coupon was for only a swedish massage and the coupon does not specify, it just says one hour massage, it does not specify the kind of massage. Just like other Yelpers, she tried to upsell for an additional $10 for a deep tissue massage and kept insisting that I get it. Then I asked her to show me where it says in writing that it specifies for only a swedish and she couldn't answer so she called the manager and with her broken English started yelling at me. You don't treat customers like that! I will never return and I will make sure that everyone stays away from this place!!!!!

This is located in falls church under an apartment building but there was plenty of parking out front. It was easy to make an appointment and we had no trouble using the Groupon. We were greeted nicely when arriving and allowed to pick out our essential oils which was nice. They had about 5 scents (tea tree, jasmine, rose, and I can't remember the others but we chose jasmine). The massage was great, it was so relaxing. My favorite part was the hot stone as it was needed. We both sit down all day for work so the massage helped our back pain. We were even offered 15 extra minutes for $17 each which we accepted. I would definitely come back here and I'd like to try another one of their services such as a deep tissue or Swedish to really help my back. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage so much that he even purchased another Groupon to go back next week. Highly recommend!

As someone who suffers from chronic neck pain, I really need someone who can get in the muscle deep. So when I say I need a deep tissue massage, I mean I need DEEP. Most of the time, I have to direct my masseuse what to focus on and what I need in terms of pressure and most of the time they listen. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. I was paired up with a female masseuse who was sweet enough in manner but didn't seem to speak much English so when I asked her to only focus on my neck or when I kept asking for deeper pressure, she was respond in agreement but then would proceed to continue doing what I asked her not to do. I specifically asked her to only focus on my upper back/neck area and not to do my whole body. She did work on my upper area but then proceeded to do the rest of my body when I asked her not to. I know they are trained to do full body massages but the purpose of getting a massage for a lot folks is to get some relief from pain or tight muscles with specific attention to problem areas. If I'm going to pay an inordinate amount of money for an hour massage, I'd rather not have it wasted on parts of my body I don't need worked on. Needless to say, I realized I can't get what I really need here, so while I appreciated the good service overall, I will continue my journey for a great masseuse elsewhere.

I usually try to get the chair and foot massage combo and this time I did a much longer session because I was coming back from an extended trip where I did a ton of walking and needed to reset a but. The body massage was decent but the foot massage was so bad I ended it early though still paid for while session and tipped a bit (for the chair massage being decent). The guy must have been tired but then maybe switch with someone else or not take the booking? He put airpods in and basically looked like he was falling asleep the whole time and kept doing the one same motion in one spot to the point where my foot felt numb like it was going to sleep. I kept looking over at the other people getting for massages next to me. Two different sessions happened after one another next to me and both looked way better than mine. I was so annoyed it basically undid all the good that the first part did. I used to never hesitate to come or recommend but now I'm less sure. On this particular day I was at the mall getting some shopping done. It was around the time I was still getting getting over some back issues that happen at work. I saw this massage stand and saw only one guy standing there looking bored. Walking up to the guy I greeted him and told him what was going on and wait was needed. The my masseur (we will call Ricky) did a wonderful job targeting the painful areas on my back. Everything was going fine until I heard one of the other massage people coming back. From what I have seen at this massage place, it is mostly men who work there. Ricky's coworker started talking to Ricky loudly and being very annoying. Did you ever get that feeling when you know someone is being rude to you or talking about you? I got that feeling and hearing him burp loudly while Ricky was massaging me did not help. Saying something at the time did come to mind and had I said something, it probably would have turn out badly. The possibility are endless, but the end results would be not coming back to this mall for a long time. I decided discretion is the better part of valor and keep my mouth shut. It was the second time I had been there and the last time. I gave Ricky a ten dallor tip, but saw his coworker looked like Gargamel's apprentice named Scruple. The reason this place comes to mind is because I saw an associate working in the Pure Massage store at Tyson's Corner. I had written a positive review on the a while ago, but since then I have not seen the lady who gave me my first massage there. I have seen only males working there and they look bored. Anyhow, Ricki did a wonderful job, but his coworker Scruple messed things up. Ricky is the only reason this place gets a two star instead of a one star.
