Walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling.
    Angela B.

I was looking for a place to get a massage and read reviews of a few. Natures Health Spa had glowing reviews and offered a discount for first timers. Welp, This was an interesting experience...this'll be a long one... The parking right out front is limited. Basically 2 spots per business. So you have to park around back. Inside, the spa is quaint, cute, and clean. You encounter soothing / meditation music, that you hear in all the rooms bc the room walls don't go to the ceiling. You also hear when the masseuse is pounding or smacking on the client in the next room.. I was led to a room but was not told what to do so I just sat there waiting. I booked with Lisa but I don't know if that's who I got bc she didn't introduce herself. But she was shocked that I wasn't in a prepared state for the massage. There was a language barrier and she spoke with a tool that translated. What she asked was "Is it dry" and I was HIGHLY confused and slightly concerned. She had me speak into the tool and explain I wasn't told to do anything hence why I was not ready. Time for the massage... I don't know if I haven't had one in quite some time and I'm out of touch or they just do things differently... I'm used to massages for the length of my back, stopping just above my bum, and then legs slightly lower than my bum... she did it all. And it was rather unnerving (especially when she left the room and came back with the hot stones only for me to see she left the door ajar)!! When she wiped the oil off, she was VERY close a certain area that's usually avoided during a massage. Back to the language barrier thing...I have had massage therapists ask me what my problem areas are and if the pressure was too much... not this time. Maybe it was my knots but it felt like she was digging her elbows in...again, may have been my knots but holy moly was I wincing!! As I stated, just an interesting experience overall...

We went to this location years ago (2018-2019) and liked it so much we kept going back even though…read moreit was a bit far from us. Unfortunately, the pandemic came along and we skipped massages for quite a long time. We recently moved nearby and decided to give it a try again and they did not disappoint! We booked a couples massage for 90 minutes with Frank and Mary. Neither of us can remember having massages that good. They spent the time focused on the areas we requested, with the pressure we requested, and we both left feeling so much better! Appointment was easy to book on the website. They sent reminders for the appointment and confirmed booking preferences before the appointment (gender of masseuse, single or shared room). As a side note- there are now signs in every room not to touch the masseuse and to basically be appropriate in their business. Not sure what people are thinking these last few years (though I can obviously guess by the signs), but no one goes to work to be assaulted so keep your hands TO yourself but OFF yourself. These folks are amazing! Give them some respect so they can do their work!

my absolute favorite massage lace i've ever been to. including high end spas. The staff is…read moreextremely nice and goes out of their way to give you the treatment you want - I love that I can book by texting them the day of, that their prices are so reasonable, and that they have people who can actually do deep tissue. my only complaint is that they seem to have a lot of turnover so if I really love someone and ask for them by name next time, they don't work there anymore.

Penny is A M A Z I N G!…read more I have her come out to my house weekly as part of my own little wellness program, which is to say, I'm old and I needed to find an excuse to get a massage every week. I'm trying to take care of my body now that is out of warranty and breaking down. She is one part masseuse and one part detective. It's uncanny how even if I don't tell her which part of my back is sore, she can find that one small muscle that is making all of the other muscles tense up around it. I've had massages at the mall where the therapists basically take you through their "one size fits all" routine no matter what area you want them to focus on - they use blunt force and do everything quick and aggressive. Penny is purposed and methodical in her assessment (her fingers are her instruments doing the assessment). She probes gently as she walks her fingers up and down your back to find that "angry" muscle and give it some healing. If it doesn't want to comply, she delivers power, primarily through her elbows, but doesn't pull the elbow out just for the sake of doing it - it's always with a purpose and that purpose to help your back find peace. There have been times when I've walked in with such tight pain in my neck or shoulder and I can't get a full range of motion in my neck or my arm. But after she's worked on my tight neck for example, it's liked someone greased the gears inside of my neck because my neck can swivel 90 degrees in either direction without any effort, whereas before it was full of tension. Speaking of grease, she does not use an abundance of lotion so you don't feel like a greased up pig at the end. Her prices are very reasonable, especially since she comes out to you!

I've been with Penny for several years and she is an amazing masseuse. She is responsible,…read moreresponsive, professional and always gets to know her clients' needs. I am a dancer and extremely active and need a good therapist. I also relied on Penny's services after surgery and she was instrumental in helping me recover. She can modify her massage to your immediate needs; which was amazing for me. Penny also really knows biology and physiology and has a great sense of humor. You can talk to Penny or just zone out. If you need someone who knows what they are doing, will understand your needs and someone you can really trust, Penny is your massage therapist!
