I have been dealing with back pain for weeks and randomly decided to go here to get a massage since…read morethey had a lower back pain therapy service listed on their page. I was not disappointed. My masseuse Nina was very focused from the beginning of the treatment. She asked me where my problem areas were before the service, and a couple of times again during the service. She asked me if there was any area that needed more attention after she focused on my back, and I told her my shoulders since I work at an office job. I think I'm just greedy I want everything rubbed for a while lol. Anyway she dug in and even climbed the table to apply more pressure at times. She lightened the pressure when I asked her to, and even informed me of where she felt the most knots. I would say if you want bells and whistles, then you may need to go somewhere else. But if you want a no frills, focused, deep massage that results in pain relief....you should give this place a try. Tell her Yolanda sent you ;-).

This is located in falls church under an apartment building but there was plenty of parking out front. It was easy to make an appointment and we had no trouble using the Groupon. We were greeted nicely when arriving and allowed to pick out our essential oils which was nice. They had about 5 scents (tea tree, jasmine, rose, and I can't remember the others but we chose jasmine). The massage was great, it was so relaxing. My favorite part was the hot stone as it was needed. We both sit down all day for work so the massage helped our back pain. We were even offered 15 extra minutes for $17 each which we accepted. I would definitely come back here and I'd like to try another one of their services such as a deep tissue or Swedish to really help my back. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage so much that he even purchased another Groupon to go back next week. Highly recommend!

Today is May 13th and I decided to check this place out in person after work. Turns out I have driven past this business a number of times and never knew it was here. Well, if I had visited this place last year, I would not have seen this name. The shop only opened up this year...as far as I know. The building is old. Using the elevators is most unsound. Take the stairs if you can. I saw the top floor, and saw water was leaking from the ceiling. It has been raining since early this morning. Here is the good news, you won't have to take the big elevator to go to any floor level. Once you walk through the main entrance doors, continue walking towards the back left wall by the wheel chair elevator. Qitopia Massage Therapy & Beauty Studio will be the first door on the left. Ground Floor G18. The inside of this business's walls give off a nice yellow glow setting the mood. I met a lady named Ashley who seemed to be in charge. I saw the prices on the wall, but this business has lot more services that can be looked at online. Take the Gua Sha Facial and Regular Facials for example. Prices are listed too. Ashley had a great vibe going on and the ambience in the room matched Ashley's vibe as well. Ashley's English language is getting pretty good. Ashely will have mastered another language very soon. I saw there is a what Ails You Chart on the desk too. I don't always see this at massage places. This helps the therapist get a better read on you and something to refer to should Ashley need to. Their business card has the bonus of getting your 6th visit at 50% off. These types of business cards doesn't always stick around at massage places. As of right now, Qitopia Massage Therapy & Beauty Studio has this business cards so get them as soon as you can. I plan to make an appointment with Ashley very soon. I saw on Qitopia Massage Therapy & Beauty Studio's website this public announcement as well. "Please be advised that for appointments before 8:30 AM, a minimum of 1 hours' advance booking is required. (571) 666-2492)" Thought this would be helpful. I plan to have a massage review of the experience soon. Link for Massage&Beauty Services https://go.bychronos.com/l/falls-church-22046-qitopia-massage-therapy--beauty-studio-805017/a/services

Penny is A M A Z I N G!…read more I have her come out to my house weekly as part of my own little wellness program, which is to say, I'm old and I needed to find an excuse to get a massage every week. I'm trying to take care of my body now that is out of warranty and breaking down. She is one part masseuse and one part detective. It's uncanny how even if I don't tell her which part of my back is sore, she can find that one small muscle that is making all of the other muscles tense up around it. I've had massages at the mall where the therapists basically take you through their "one size fits all" routine no matter what area you want them to focus on - they use blunt force and do everything quick and aggressive. Penny is purposed and methodical in her assessment (her fingers are her instruments doing the assessment). She probes gently as she walks her fingers up and down your back to find that "angry" muscle and give it some healing. If it doesn't want to comply, she delivers power, primarily through her elbows, but doesn't pull the elbow out just for the sake of doing it - it's always with a purpose and that purpose to help your back find peace. There have been times when I've walked in with such tight pain in my neck or shoulder and I can't get a full range of motion in my neck or my arm. But after she's worked on my tight neck for example, it's liked someone greased the gears inside of my neck because my neck can swivel 90 degrees in either direction without any effort, whereas before it was full of tension. Speaking of grease, she does not use an abundance of lotion so you don't feel like a greased up pig at the end. Her prices are very reasonable, especially since she comes out to you!
