Good service! All workers there are nice and polite. Very good massage, especially the oil body massage, it gives me a relaxing and refreshing day. read more

The massage by Elizabeth was amazing, just the right amount of pressure, thank you Massage Ave.

I was asked to pay before the massage and then the "tip" was to be paid after the massage. I got the full body oil 90 mins, she massaged the shit out of my back and neck, then some stone action. But the arms, legs, and feet got punched and jiggled about. No head or face massage. So anyway, I'm at the counter and they kinda yelled at me when I gave a $10 tip and pointed to a paper that said "20% Mandatory service charge" Well,,, If I wasn't a HS grad... Like wtf does that mean? So I asked, 'What's that mean?' Lol! The guy yelled, "It's tip, it's tip!" Ok, 1st things 1st. If they knew 20% was due point blank period-for, a, tip... why in thee hell wouldn't they just fuckin' add it in the beginning when I had to pay 1st, if it was a legit service charge? Because... I ain't no scientist but a tip, is what I choose to tip. Ok, so I definitely won't be back. read more

Great massage, good pressure, good price. Only bad thing was you could hear everything and everyone talking, and then another customer came in and he kept coughing and it scared the people that worked their. Every time he coughed you could hear everyone say, "ahhhh cmon" it was kinda funny. And his masseuse even said, "are you sick? Why you cough so much?" I'd try again read more

I've been to a few places and this is the worst. I took my wife to get a massage here yesterday. I called before to ask for prices and was given a price. When we got to the location I again asked and was again given the same price. I paid for my wife to get her massage and waited. After her massage we said thank you and started to walk towards the door. The lady at the register, very rudely shoves a copy of my receipt towards me and says something about "tip". That alone bothered me and I responded "I don't HAVE to give you a tip but I'm going to give you $5 anyways". She says "oh no! You give me 20%!" She started yelling and speaking her language, her boss came out and tried to tel me that I needed to pay them a tip of 20%. Being told that I HAVE TO pay a tip only makes me not want to GIVE any tip. This place is ridiculous. They tried arguing that they demanded a tip because of the work the masseuse did. ARE YOU KIDDING ME LOL. The money that was paid was for the work she was going to provide. WTF goes through these people minds? Are they really that stupid? For any business to charge you a certain amount of money for a service, then after the service is done, try to charge you extra, that's fraudulent business. DO NOT GO TO THIS LACE, they will try to rip you off. read more

I made an appointment and arrived early. I have had many massages and have been to many places and this is the first time ever that I was asked to pay upfront. read more

Excellent! My mom recommended this place. I have really bad knots in my shoulders and it's been difficult to find someone who can get them out. For $25 you get a private room which is great. I live in LA and similar places are in open rooms with tons of other people, privacy is a nice addition. I asked the guy to not massage my face or hair bc I had a dinner to go to after but to give my shoulders some extra TLC. He did just that! Overall... very good place, nice service and very very reasonable in price. Thank you! read more

Great service friendly staff. Vary clean. I felt at ease the experience was amazing. They seem to genuinely care .I will be back

They ask you for 20% Tips, some people have a experience they are not happy the same thing with me.. it should be our decision to give them how much Tips we give.. read more

Went in to get a relaxing $25 one hour foot massage but came out disappointed. I liked that I was placed with a woman but couldn't relax since she spent the entire time taking to another person while giving me a massage-It was so distracting. Talking while I am getting a massage is a deal breaker for me, won't be returning. Also, a 20% service fee notice was sneaked in down below on their menu price list. So yes, a tip is required at this place which is also a deal breaker-tips are earned based on the service provided and this place requires it. The owner was nice though. read more

I go here all the time and I would prefer to go here over any other place in the area. I highly recommend it to all my friends. I always ask for Alvin and he is consistent and amazing. The language comments on here are distasteful, considering we are so accommodating to other language barriers in this area. read more

Got the full body oil massage for $45 and they say 20% tip which is $9. I gave a total of $55. Overall it is average. The reason why a 2 star: (1.5 star) 1. Comunication problems; the female masseuse english is near null. I can't understand the young man at front. His English and service was horrible. Frustrating trying to talk with him. 2. They consistently talked in loud foreign language which seems inconsiderate since it is a business and supposed to bring some relaxation... not stress and discomfort. Its sunday evening, ordered a full oil massage which was in the nude with a towel for privacy in a private room. The room was cold not heated with cold evening air rushing in every time front door opened. The lady seemed to put in an average attempt. No plans to ever come back read more

My friend said she went here once out of convenience recommend to me and so we went and We even invited my mom to join. My mother did not like rough massages so we requested light 40 min foot/leg massage. Me and my friend got a full body oil massage..... All massages were great. REQUEST Diane it was the Bomb!! NEXT TIME I AM GOING FOR 90 MIN. Coco was very gentle with my mother and we all left relaxed & feeling great. Clean offer tea and water with nice waiting area. read more

Second time here. wonderful experience same as before. The place is tidy and clean. And the massage by the male therapist is decent and extremely comfortable which completely released my back pain . Top recommended and will come again for sure . read more

This place is the bomb, clean, and the people very accommodating. They offer you free tea, before and after: ginseng, ginger tea. Jennifer always does my massages, and every time I go w/ her, it's like the first time. I go at least once a week....definitely a 10 for this place! read more

First try at a relatively new business for me. The surroundings were not as pretty or relaxing as some are, but it was one of the best overall 1-hr foot massages I've had. She was calming, slow enough, and very relaxing. Unlike most places, I never once had an ouch! moment, but she also used *enough* pressure. The young man at the desk spoke English. They also have a check-off form so you can say hard, medium or light pressure. I said to him medium-light, he told the girl, and that's exactly what I got. Very good experience and I'll be back. The tipping? Don't pretend it's some huge surprise, and the nerve...ALL Chinese foot massages work the same way. Don't be cheap and try to cover it up by trying to act shocked. read more

The price is good and the place is clean but I should have gone to a professional massage therapist. It is relaxing but the therapist doesn't know anatomy and have good training so I still have pain after the massage. read more

Alvin and Coco are amazing very professional respectful clean facility great music always available this is a great place to enjoy your afternoon with a loved one read more

I tried this place once. The massage was mediocre. She could not maintain the pressure to my liking. AND every 5 seconds she would ask me 'OK? OK? OK? That got to be very irritating. I got the 60 minute body massage for $25 which does not include scalp or feet. Towards the end when I asked her to work on my Achilles a little, she tried to upsell me and said that I needed the $35 massage. I said " no thanks" and she said it again. I did not feel that she was a very intuitive massuese. She was just going thru the motions.... Anyway, I have gotten really nice massages from the one in Seaside on Fremont Ave and wish the place was closer to me. I will not go back to this place again. read more

First trip to this place as I was looking to stay local. Massage was okay. Pretty little Asian girl took me to a partitioned little room for my hour massage. Nothing special and no extras provided. Will probably not return there. read more

The massage was ok, not the best I've had. It was hard to communicate with the guy because his English wasn't good. Then he looked like he was getting annoyed because I was having a hard time understanding him. Then the next thing he does which I found so unprofessional and just sick, was he just burped in front of me. I had to step to the side so I wouldn't catch a whiff of it. Will not be coming back here again. read more

I took the time to read past reviews and appreciate what was said. I still took the time to go out myself and check it out being reviews were mixed and the location convenient. The place was clean, not fancy but nice, relaxing. The Chinese man at the front seemed polite so don't know if its the same person as others met. The massage was actually pretty good. I told the woman I liked firm massage and I got that. She seemed nice and I left her a 20% tip. No one complained about the tip. I also got a call from one of the owners asking how I liked my experience. I guess she was checking on customers because of some prior complaints. She told me that they had retrained the management and employees and that she was making sure everyone had a good experience going forward. I respected an appreciated that she cared enough about her reviews and customers to do this. Overall I'd say this was a good establishment. Its seems the training and owner involvement made a difference. I plan on going back there again. read more

First I have to say that their price sheet and their english communication skills could use a little work. I opted for the $45, full body oil massage. The young lady who massaged me was very polite and professional and did an excellent job. The CD of "soothing music" kept skipping at first and then I got to hear the sounds of a stool being dragged over to the CD so that someone could put a different one on. I could also hear people at the front door when they came in or left. (A little more privacy would've gotten another star from me.) I'll definitely be back! read more

Thank You Amy! Massage Avenue is a great place to get a massage. The place is super clean and the staff is very professional. The ambiance is very relaxing. I have tried several masseuses at Massage Avenue because I usually find myself going in as a walk-in. If you can make an appointment, then ask for Amy. She understands the importance of stimulating the connective tissue in the body; especially in the feet and lower legs. I usually get the 90 minute whole body massage with oil for $60. That is a bargain! I am amazed of what they can do with oil, water, dry towel and their hands and forearms. Amy is non stop for 90 minutes. She is very professional and will customize your massage to the areas you need work on. I have arthritis in the hips and always ask her to spend a little more time moving blood supply to the hip area. Massage Avenue is the place to get a massage. Amy is the masseuse worth asking for. read more

Came here after being referred by my parents. I went here and got a back and foot massage and felt pretty good afterwards. I had foot pain for a few months. My nerve knots we're "put back to place." I would recommend it to anyone. The room I was in was kind of small and was clean. People here are friendly. read more

I would give this place negative stars if that was possible. The older asian man who is the boss is rude and gross. There is a strong communication barrier but instead of trying he got mad like it was my fault. My partner and I went to a room for massages. We should of turned around and left...let me start of with saying...I dont even know how to describe the experience that will give you a realistic sense of the service we recieved. They have no desire to ask what your pressure preference is, or even ask if its ok to do something. I left my running shorts on and instead of asking about my comfort levels she literally pulled them down herself exposing my whole butt. She was very rough and then to top it off, climbed on top of me, sat on my butt and started going ham on my back. When they were finished, my partner and I got up,looked at each other and were speechless. The angry asian man at the front desk then decided he wanted be rude again when we were paying waiting for us to put more cash down for a tip. A tip is something given for appreciation of service, not demanded. It is now the next day, I cannot walk...move my neck...or lift my own head off my pillow. I woke up thinking I was paralyzed. Overall I would NEVER return or reccomend anyone to this type of establishment. read more

The Co-Manager called me and told me if I wanted a complementary massage and I said no how about my money back and she said sorry but we don't do that but that instead they fired the lady for her miss behavior! So they rather fire people than refund 25$ worst place ever avoid at all cost read more

Ok I'm only posting this because I would want someone to tell me. My mom and I have been here a few times and thought...ok it's pretty good for the money. $25 for a one hour foot massage, this was going to be our go to spot. Until the last time we got our massages, as we were waiting to pay, a gentleman comes out and makes a comment to the man in the front about the happy ending. He didn't say it in a joking matter and neither of them laughed. That was the first time and we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt believe it or not. So today we decided to give it another try. Well... as we're walking up I can see through the doors this man giving a very I guess enthusiastic hug or I don't even know what to call it. It was just weird. Then I noticed she was nice and pink in the face and her hair a little razzled. Basically this is what my experience was and I'm never going back. I'm pretty grossed out. They may or may not be doing some shady stuff but I don't want to take my chances. Just putting this out there because I'm fairly certain I'm not taking the man's happy ending comment or what I saw walking in to the establishment out of context and my gut feeling is to never go back. read more

My daughter and I went in referred by a friend. We asked for the 60 minute oil full body massage. Since we were together we got the double room. The lady who worked on me kept talking to the therapist working on y daughter, in Chinese or something...during the massage. Not very professional. She also pulled my sheet down and my underwear-exposing my behind fully- without asking. I've never had that happen before, they usually ask you if you feel comfortable with that and and keep your privates covered. That coupled with her talking to the other guy intermettently during the session was very uncomfortable. She also burped out loud about 4 times during the session. I was grossed out by that. Another thing that bothered me was that she left the room at some point to get hot towels and she was talking loudly to other employees outside- who also didn't seem to respect or want a relaxing atmosphere for the clients. When it was time to pay I was only going to tip them at 10%, which I felt was very generous considering the bad experience. Then the guy pointed out they have a policy of 20% mandatory tip policy and an added $2 because I paid with my card. The massage itself was nothing to write home about. She spent too much time on my back and not enough on legs and arms. Also she didnt work out any knots or asked me about my preferred pressure level. She kind of just moved her hands around without much of a technique. So all in all I don't really recommend this place :/ read more

Nice place. Clean and quiet. I had a nice oil body massage and the lady provided me a great service. One thing I recommend them is to have more promotions that I can come back more often:) read more

One of the best massages I've had. I feel like at lost places people have a pattern that they follow while providing their service. Here, I feel like places I was tense were more focused on. My only complaint is I was in a room with my husband and every once in a while the two employees would speak to each other in Chinese. read more

This is a very good place if you want to relax, enjoy the sound of chinese lullaby while getting the deep tissue massage. Get the 1 hour full body oil massage and yes you'll get what you paid for. They will ask you if you are ok with the pressure or if you needed more. I wanted the deep tissue and I was very much amazed what they did compare to a high end massage places. I will definitely go back again. I live in San Diego but I don't mind traveling here just to get I wanted. read more

I am a massage lover, and I have visited many many massage places, and the place I liked most is massage ave, my wife and I wanted to get a good massage, but did not know where to go because most of the places that I have visited after 10 or 15 minutes they are offering sexual massages, so I decided to go by myself to see what kind of services they have, I loved the place and the massage, they have a very professional girls. The girl who gave me the massage really managed to relax my body I slept for a few minutes, which is when I decided to take my wife with me, and from that day I visit this place one a week to get my massage, all the girls are really good and very professional, and the price deserves the 4 stars, every massage place you go you are required to tip, it does not hurt at all, because with the good work they do, they deserve a very good tip, good family place, go try it and get relax. read more

Last week I went to SF, just have a rest in Salinas. I found it by Santa Fe supermarket. Wonderful massage! Nice service!
