However, my visit was immediately tainted when as we were handing her our tip, one of the workers said it was not enough and that there is a mandatory 20% tip. This is told to us AFTER we were done with our massages. This "mandatory 20% tip" is not written on any of the menus or signs in the establishment and it was not mentioned prior to our service. When we questioned her about the mandatory tip, she adamantly requested a 20% tip regardless. I have never been asked for a larger tip at any establishment before, unless a gratuity fee was explicitly written or mentioned. Fortunately, we called the manager, who resolved the situation. Nonetheless, I was extremely disappointed at this interaction and will not be returning to this place again.

However, when we came in, we did not get greeted - like at all and it was unfortunate because there was two ladies at the front desk Yolanda and Amarie (Amarie was helping another customer and her service seem great. There were some add-on services that I had inquired about and that girl Yolanda pretty much told me she didn't know and never got back to me. Didn't ask if Manny the masseuse did not look into it for me it would've been a bust. He offered an alternative service as far as a foot mask. That was an even better option for us so we were pretty thankful for that, but if I had left it up to the other girl, it would've just been when it was . confusion and a whole bunch of nothing Yolanda was the girl that helped us again no greeting She kind of just waved us to the back, pointed at the robes ask us our shoe size and that was really it Once we were changed standing there awkwardly, she walked me into a room and left my mom in the hallway and then asked me. I'm kind of glad I decided to do that because honestly, I was going to book with Manny again because he was amazing but with those prices to not be happy was pretty unacceptable. My dad passed recently, so Mother's Day had proven to be harder than expected. That's why I wanted to do something extra special for her this year by booking the spa. I stopped in here after church with my mom and I opted for the 30 minute session for her for her feet and for my neck and shoulders for myself. As someone mentioned before, there is definitely a language barrier, but the lady is super sweet and her massages are strong and effective. Honestly for the 30 minutes session I received today I felt 100% better than I did after I paid four times as much at a spa down the street-the thing about the place down the street as they spoke perfect English, and didn't have as good of service as far as greeting us walking in as this lady did . The pricing is so unbelievably reasonable here especially the fact that we walked right in and we're seen right away. You can get mini Services for 30 minutes longer services if needed.
