I had a great experience at Authentic Thai Massage By Patti…read more I walked out feeling amazing--completely relaxed, and all the muscle soreness I came in with was gone without that post-massage "beat up" feeling you sometimes get. I went with a traditional Thai massage, and it was exactly what I was hoping for: deep, intentional work with a lot of stretching. She even got up on the table to really lean in and get the pressure where it needed to be. No walking on my back, but honestly, she didn't need to--she got plenty of depth without it. The therapist was very friendly and professional. She took the time upfront to ask about my goals, any health issues, and specific areas of pain, which I always appreciate. She does have a fairly strong accent, so I had to focus a bit more at times, but her English is excellent and it didn't take away from the experience at all. I also want to note how professional she was on a personal level. She shared that she had recently gone through a significant loss, and despite that, she remained fully present, kind, and focused throughout the session. That level of dedication really stood out. The environment was spot on. The waiting area was calm and comfortable with a relaxing video playing, and the massage room itself was just right--soothing music, perfect lighting (not too bright, not too dark), and thankfully not overly perfumed. Pricing was actually lower than I expected, especially for the quality of the massage. Definitely felt like a good value. One note: if you like deep tissue work, this is your place. I specifically asked for deep pressure, and she delivered. It got intense at times--but in the best way. In my opinion, a truly therapeutic massage should hurt a little... the ends justify the means, and in this case, they absolutely did. I was planning to go back in two weeks, but honestly, she did such a good job I didn't feel like I needed to. I'm just now starting to feel due again, so I'll be booking another appointment soon. I've already recommended her to several colleagues and even a few of my own patients. I'll definitely be back.

One thing I really appreciate is that the massage chair converts into a flat bed, so I don't have to get up and move during my session. Whether I pay with cash or card, the process is easy, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, this is one of my favorite places to relax and unwind.

They added $10 for each and when I tried to dispute it they wouldn't budge. I normally wouldn't comment on a small business but the way they handled payment was sketchy. I clearly said $10 total because I know the lady who worked on my fiance did an ok job where as mine was really bad. Also as two people who professionally do massage and soft tissue work I can't help but feel like we were ripped off. And for background we are on vacation but regularly get worked on by each other and other licensed therapists in the industry. It's fine for a cheap massage but for a 30minute foot massage from someone who doesn't have a good gage of anatomy and what areas you have to change the pressure I'm pretty annoyed that I gave her an additional $10 for ruining my day. I'm giving a 3 bcs my fiances therapist was a 4 and mine was a 1.

Ugh... not the greatest experience. Definitely not a "Elegant Spa" experience…read more To start, the masseuse directed me to the room. I went in, and before I was finished undressing she came back in. The massage itself was mediocre at best. I asked for a specific area of my back to be focused on and really didn't get that. She left the room several times. This is apparently a normal thing here, my girlfriend had the same experience and I see from other reviews this has happened to other people as well. She finished before the hour was up. Another customer had come in, and she left the room to greet the customer and lead them to another room. I got up to get dressed and again, she entered the room before I finished dressing. Umm, excuse me, do you mind? Apparently she did not, because she left the door open and started remaking the massage table. Once I was dressed she took it as a signal to stand in the doorway to await her tip. I tipped her $15 (25% on a $60 massage). She then asked me for another $5 dollars, I just said "no, that's ok", I wasn't having it. If you're going to go here, just be aware that you may have this kind of experience. I personally won't be having this experience there again.
