First time today. I purchased the 90 minute "accupressure massage" and was told it was like a deep tissue massage. It started out with a WONDERFUL lady that was actually using pressure points along with a firm massage. This was probably going to be the best massage I've ever had from how it started. Then, about 20 minutes into the massage, they switched and gave me a different lady who just didn't know what I was there for or how to give a decent massage. I counted and she spent 60 & 65 seconds on my arms, never massaged my feet or the front of my legs. I will never go back and I don't recommend that you waste your money here. read more

I used to love coming to this place but I got someone new and she made me feel SO uncomfortable. She kept "massaging" my behind and even jokingly kept asking me to take off my boxers laughing. She kept putting herself in really uncomfortable spots and giggling about it. The massage in general wasn't good either, waste of money and i just left feeling super uncomfortable. read more

Only gave it one star because I had to in order to write a review. My wife bought me a gift certificate for a massage rite before the pandemic. Since they were closed for the pandemic, I obviously couldn't go in for my massage. My wife called this morning so I could get my massage for Father's Day and the lady said the certificate was still good but that I had to pay extra now that they have raised the prices after being closed for so long. That is such BULLSHIT! I understand raising your prices but you should honor what people paid for before the pandemic. It wasn't my fault I couldn't used the certificate during the pandemic. I decided to throw the certificate in the trash instead. This place is a rip off. Businesses like this don't deserve customers. read more

I came here for the second time. The first time they were amazing! They first start with a scalp massage, no facial pressure points here. They did a lot of pressure points on my feet. The pressure was slightly hard but I do like it that way, takes out my knots but not too hard that I can't enjoy and relax during the massage. 5 stars. The most recent visit was totally different. It was very inconsistent. One foot they did pressure points while the other foot was basically a rub, it felt like they were taking out my dead skin. Even on the back was inconsistent one side was a very nice even massage but the other side seemed rough not hard. 2-3 stars. The owner is very kind and they give us oolong tea from China which was very delicious. The location and ambience is very clean and calming. I will go there again to break the tie. Lol read more

I am so sorry to give this poor review, but I am afraid it's warranted. I used to go to this spa once or twice a month when Lilly was there. She was very, very good. Lilly is no longer working there. I tried a few times since, and each time the massage was worse than the time before. To where I was just waiting for it to be over. Today, that was it. As we walked in had a very warm welcome from Michelle. We had arrived a little early, so took the opportunity to check things out. We opted for a 30 minute massage @ $30.00. This option we didn't get feet or arms done. Lesson learned next time we will go for the 60 minutes @ $30.00. My daughter had Lisa who she was very satisfied with. I wish I could give a better score. But.... We just moved from Marina to Castroville. We had a lot of furniture that had to go upstairs. So you can imagine ours backs and legs were tender. We decided to try a new place for a message. Well Justin loved his. She was not to rough, hit all his sore spots. He feels great. But me on the other hand, not so hot. I think my back is jacked up than when I got there. He was sooooo rough. What didn't hurt before hurts now. I think he rubbed my lungs. My shoulders are so tender. BE CAREFUL USING THIS BUSINESS. ON February 8, 2023 I went to use a gift certificate. The massage woman was sitting outside visiting with a friend. There were no other customers around. When we went inside I asked for a upper back massage. Then I said I had a gift certificate (in hindsight I should not have) . She asked to see it which I retrieved from my car. On the back of it were initials and a date . There is NO EXPIRATION DATE. She then said no it was too old. I pointed out that there is no expiration date. She turned her back and walked away. Gift certificates cannot expire in California. I posted this on Facebook and the large response included others who had experienced the same thing! To be fair there were some who never had a problem there, well, except maybe the strong cigarette smell inside. others complained of her bullying for a larger tip. Had a great experience. One hour of relaxation consisted of the Combination Massage $45. - 30 minutes of lying on my back and having feet soaked in hot water while she massage my neck, head and arms. Then she massaged my feet, up to my knees. - 30 minutes of lying on my stomach without my shirt, in a private room. Deep tissue massage of my entire back, back of the neck, legs, hips, arms. Will return, definitely recommend. I felt my stiffness went away when I walked back to my car. Later that evening I did yoga and felt great because I was able to make the forms with ease. read more
