Making the appointment was easy. They had no problem getting me in. That may have been the first red flag I should have noticed. The second red flag was the masseuse's asking me for the money in advance.
The masseuse was generally pleasant. But, once she started the massage I knew I was not getting anything that resembled a deep-tissue massage. She was either really weak, or just didn't want to exert any effort. When she notified me that the 60 minutes were up, I looked at my watch to see that it had barely been a minute or two over 50 minutes. I guess 60 minutes may have passed since I walked in the door. But the first few minutes I was trying to get her out of the room while I changed -- very awkward.
As I walked out, she said "tip" several times. She wasn't too thrilled I did not give her a tip. And, she let me know it with her tone and by shutting the door behind me.
Needless to say, I won't be back. It's too bad -- I was really hoping for a good massage in a convenient location. read more
