Purity Day Massage has the best value for an hour-long massage. It's 60 minutes long for $60 and you get your whole body done including hot stones on your back. The people are super nice in there although they don't speak a lot of English, so it's good to tell them in advance whether you like it hard or soft. I went there with my brother as a walk-in at night and they were able to accommodate us. I've been back a couple times. Don't forget to tip them. read more

I've been in this shopping center a million times and never really noticed this place. I had some really bad lower back pain and my chiropractor was closed so I gave this place a shot. I called first to see if somebody was available and they said yes. This is a no frills place but boy did I get a great massage! The man who worked on me said his name was Andy and he was awesome! I got the 60 min full body massage and it was %100 worth it. He didn't talk much but asked me if I was ok when the pressure got strong which I was because I needed a strong massage. He even incorporated hot stones which were super hot, but super satisfying as well. He mostly focused on my back but also worked my legs arms and neck. My favorite part was probably when he was using his heel or foot to really work out my back. Highly recommend this establishment for a quality massage at a totally fair price. read more

I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience left me traumatized. When I arrived, everything seemed fine. They were friendly. When entering the room, I noticed my sheets were torn, but the lady saw and changed them. As she started massaging my back, she was a bit rough and used all her weight. At one point, she coughed, left, then came back sounding like she had a cough drop, which made me feel uncomfortable, especially since she seemed sick. I ignored it. What really upset me, and I want to be honest, is that she completely took off my underwear, exposed my buttocks, and massaged my butt apart. I don't think any of these massage employees know what they're doing. They follow some routine, but it's wrong: they kept massaging away from the heart, when they should have been massaging toward it. My partner was with me, getting a couples massage, and she kept telling the therapist how to do it properly because she studied massage therapy for years. That's not right. The woman working on me, besides making me feel completely violated, told me to turn over on my back. She burped directly into my nose, and I accidentally inhaled her burp. It was disgusting, smelling like soup. I swear I can't make this up. When it was time to tip, they asked for a large amount and only received a $20 tip, which they looked at as if that was nothing. I strongly recommend going somewhere else. I will not be returning here. read more

It was New Years eve and we wanted to get nice massage before the new year comes in. I called in to make reservations and got spots for that evening. There's plenty of parking outside. We came at 7pm so it was dark and the lot was a little sketchy but don't be afraid. It's Monterey. The people here were very nice. They don't speak too much English so please be patient. The lady who massaged me was very good. She took her time and asked me from time to time how the pressure was. I usually like it medium and she did a great job. My GF got the owner, and she had an amazing massage. We've been to a lot of different massages places and this was by far one of the better ones. The prices here are great compared to other places. We got a couples massage, 90 minutes for 180. We were able to be in the same room as well. I heard a few people leaving after their massages and they had a great time as well. The massage was good for basic needs. If you have special needs that need to be explained don't come here though. I have very flexible joints and they tend to slip out easy...they were not easy and ended up hurting me a little bit. Was in seaside visiting in-laws. Didn't have much to do, so we decided to get a massage. OMG!! Who would ever thought we found an amazing and memorable massage ever in Seaside (Zensations Spa in Maui is another one) Our masseuse, Coco and Anglea, did an excellent job focusing on our problem areas, such as knots on the shoulder. They were both very attentive. Couple Combination Masssge - 90 minutes was $180. (Very reasonable) Definitely recommend. I have been in pain for weeks and hit my limit today. Neck, back, hips, feet, etc... all the pains of getting older I guess. I haven't had much luck finding a go-to masseuse in the area but I've heard good things about this place. I came in as a walk-in & was immediately placed in a room with Tina. She was sweet, considerate & she had MASSAGE HANDS OF AN ANGEL 10/10 Best massage I've ever had. I'm going to ask for her every time. They take card & Apple Pay but bring cash! I wasn't able to tip as much as she deserved but I'm going back with more $$! Now, I am relaxing (finally) at home, feeling like I'm floating on a cloud. P.S. They offer some candy when you leave. I have had 2 foot surgeries that have caused a lot of problems within my body. I got a massage about a month ago from Linda and it was one of the best massage I have ever got. She really cares and wants you to feel better after. I find that rare. She ask the right question to make sure I received the best massage I possibly could. Massages are good 100% no doubt, but they are so rude about tips, anything under 15$ and they'll look at you like your the devil, seriously tho, yes they deserve tips, but have no right to be rude about a "low tip", just take the L and move on, don't disrespect the public. read more

Do not recommend. Asked front desk person who he considered to be good but he wouldn't answer. Towel used on the headrest area (I came in for an hour long foot massage) was soiled and there were stains everywhere on the carpeting. If you like your massage facility to be clean, I wouldn't recommend this business. The massage therapist's hands had a strong odor (smelled of food) which I found off putting and distracting. Long awaited review. I considered myself picky when it comes to massages having tried a lot of spas in town and other countries. This is a treat I give myself more than shopping so value is very important to me :-) Purity Day Massage both Seaside and Marina branches are highly recommended! I am always welcomed warmly in both places and service is always great! I come here atleast once a month and also during both of my pregnancies.
