I still don't know what happened, the place was empty. I was very perplexed as how a business with no costumers is so busy. I definitely don't recommend this place, why bother. I answered "firmer", which is my preference and doesn't result in an upcharge anywhere I go - unless I specifically select a deep tissue massage. The unexpected price change at checkout caused sticker shock, which completely ruined the relaxation of the massage. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt, but as this happened twice now... I don't feel inclined to go back to try a third time, let alone try anything else on their menu. The second visit also skipped arms, shoulders, and hands, which are normally included in a massage, and there was no foot bath, which is typically standard at a foot reflexology place. While I did appreciate the private room and it seemed clean, it was tiny and I was freezing, despite a space heater being in the room. Clear, upfront pricing is important. When the advertised price changes at payment, especially more than once, it's not a good experience.
