So lovely! Dropped in was invited back immediately for after asked for a foot massage. Head, shoulders, knees and Toes song come to mind. Was way beyond just a foot massage. Went in wanting a foot massage and he started with head, neck, shoulders just to begin the relaxing experience. Oh wait the warm foot bath is how the experience truly began. Allowing feet to warm up before the actual foot and leg and ending with knee massage. Not only did he get every spot, the perfect pressure and well honed technique were much appreciated. They use oil during the massage and generally wipe it off at the end preparing you to slip on your shoes and head out to explore the shops and many restaurants in the adjoining neighborhood. Thank you so much for making my day, week, month! read more

A few girlfriends and I booked foot massages during our girls' trip, but once we arrived, we quickly decided to upgrade to full-body massages--and I'm so glad we did! The front desk staff was very accommodating and got us situated right away. The prices are very fair, and I can genuinely say this was one of the best massages I've had in a very long time. Lee was extremely professional and knowledgeable, especially when it came to pressure points and areas of tension. We will definitely be returning! read more

We walked in and when we asked for the massage for 2 we were told next available was in 2 hours which was ok for us, so we came back in 2 hours, then we were asked what service we wanted and I again told him the 1 hour combo, which I had asked for when I initially came in, he said they couldn't do that one right now so I said ok we will do the foot massage only. We waited about 15 minutes to be called in and the the man said we will do the combo, so I said okay, perfect! well I should have just done the foot one, literally it felt as if I was rubbing lotion on my legs. Just like that. No pressure, nothing. Just like when you put lotion on. Both my husband and I were disappointed. But it was our first time, so we didn't complain. Will I try again...hmmm usually I give a couple tries, but not this time only because my husband had the same situation. Sorry but won't be returning. read more

Amazing quality I will definitely be returning. My therapist Lee took his time and was extremely through. Got all the knots out and cracked my wrist. I am very satisfied I am a server so I've had a lot of wrist problems from carrying heavy trays and he really helped fix it. 5 stars! read more

I had a great 60 min massage that was available on a walk in basis for a great price ($62). This place is located in a central area of Monterey. I called just a few minutes ahead for two 60 min full body massages and was able to get in with no problem. I had another unpleasant interaction with the Pacific Grove ComFOOT Spa so I was wary but this location was great. My sister and I are super happy that we found this convenient location for some relaxation on our Monterey vacations. read more

Second time around wasn't so charming. I requested Andy for a reflexology massage because he was so amazing the first time. The second time around was a big disappointment. He wasn't as good. The massage was disorienting... he left me to go to the front desk at least 5 times. He also answered the at least 7 times during my massage. Also the massage wasn't relaxing... The sheet on my chair felt damp (gross), which tells me that it wasn't changed from previous clients. I told him that the sheet felt wet. He didn't understand what I was saying because he didn't speak English proficiently. When I pay you for a 90 minute service. I expect to have your full and undivided attention for the entire 90 minute. Your charging me a dollar a minute, after all.. Inconsistent massages, unsanitary practices, answering phone calls and going to the front desk numerous times during my massage... A miss and disappointment! Sadly, I will not be returning. read more

I liked that not only was this business reviewed on Yelp, but that they also happily accept walk-ins. Coming from out of town and being able to get a massage was great. I was quickly taken back to sit and relax. I believe the massage therapist's name was Coco. As someone who became a certified massage therapist I really liked the massage. She started by asking permission to touch my face and after I happily agreed, she began massaging my forehead, the top of my head, and my ears while my feet were soaking in wonderfully warm water. She dealt with my ticklishness and the pressure was good as well (not too hard or soft). It even felt like she worked on me longer than 30 minutes. read more

Great massage and service. I got the foot and body combo... I have a lot of tension everywhere and the gentleman giving me the massage totally sensed that and applied pressure where I needed it. It was strong and helped release tension. One thing I've learned is to help your masseuse help you by telling them when it's too hard or too soft. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case, I got way more value for what I paid. Will recommend and will be back. thank you! read more

Extremely disappointing experience. There was no real pressure or attention to pressure points, just repetitive rubbing in the same spot over and over. It felt more like a surface-level glide than a massage, and they wore gloves the entire time, which made it even less effective. My legs actually started to feel raw from the friction. Definitely not what I was hoping for in a foot massage. Would not return. read more

I had one of the best massages! I highly recommend the Combo: 30-minute foot massage and 60-minute body massage. Their hands were incredible! read more

Really bad all around. Poor service and lackadaisical staff. I literally saw my pedicurist roll up the (dirty) towel he had used on my feet and place it back into the warmer, all rolled up as if it was brand new and ready to use on the next guest. Yikes. Whole experience was outstandingly underwhelming. I won't ever return, but hopefully others will have a much better experience. read more

Had an excellent foot massage here. Foot massages include some work on calves, thighs and shoulders. Would come back here for more. I love that you can also venmo here for your massage and/or tips for easy transaction. read more

We came on a Monday afternoon. The place was busy so they asked us to come back in an hour. When we got back they took us in and we wanted the combo special that included 30 minutes back and 30 minutes feet & also hot stones were included. My massage was ok. There were times my massue kept digging into the same area which became painful. I did feel relaxed but I was also squinting half of the time from the pain. I guess you pay what you get for. Overall it was $52 ($2 if your paying by credit card). Would I come again? Maybe? We also didn't get the hot stone treatment. Bummer. read more

My husband and I made an appointment for a combo massage for myself and a 60 min body massage for him. They were very accommodating and took us within a half hour! If you can make time for 90 min, do it! 60 min was heavenly but it took about 30 min for me just to clear my mind of all the business of life and simply relax. We highly recommend stopping in!! Great value for services ! They appreciate tips in cash. read more

Comfoot Spa - Entrance - Massage Near Me - Monterey, California

Incredibly mediocre massage. I asked for the foot body combo but they gave me pretty much just the body. For the back my masseuse just had one move. I asked him to focus on my legs, and he did for 5 mins and went back to the back. It was frustrating and disappointing. No real technique. Maybe it was a one off, but I definitely would not go back (unless they actually do the foot massage this time). read more

We have been many times to the Monterey location and have never been dissatisfied. Excellent comfortable care and service. I feel SO much better after visiting here. Very relaxed, my posture and attitude are completely rehabilitated. The air circulation is very good inside so that was reassuring. They are observing safety precautions and I will look forward to going again! read more

We walked in but no wait time. The massage was great. Pretty decent price. We would come back again.

This may be the worst foot massage ever. I was literally beaten up by the massage person. I asked if they knew reflexology and he shook his head yes. He proceeded to squeeze and pound on my body for an hour My feet are actually black and blue. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I heard other customers moaning while I was there. Now I assume they too were in pain read more

It's hit and miss. First time it was great! She was strong and didn't hold back. Last time she was soft and gentle, not like I asked. I tried cheering her on buuuut. No read more

Wow. Just wow. Went in for a 30-minute foot massage and was absolutely amazed. They did a hair massage, shoulder, feet, and a few extras. It was amazing and I should have gotten longer. The firmness of the massage was incredible. It was like that REALLY good pedicure massage only tripled. I can't wait to go back. read more

My husband and I got the foot plus head, neck, and shoulder massage for an hour. They are very professional and got us right in. Nice smells and music playing to help relax during the massage. Absolutely worst spa to date !! So let's go through the process: 1. They make fill a sheet of what parts of body you want to get massaged (if you take full body). They also make you say whether you want light, normal or strong pressure. You would thInk that this sheet is useful for the massagers but apparently they dont care. They do what they like. I filled out normal pressure and marked all the parts of my body I wanted to get massaged and this excluded my buttocks. But the guy who was doing my massage gave 0 effs to the sheet and started with strongest pressure and I kept telling him to make it lighter but he wouldn't ... Why??? Because they don't speak English. So of course he couldn't understand anything I i say. 2. The massage concentrated only on back. 5 secs on my head. 1 min on neck..5 mins on legs.. and while massaging my back he was massaging the buttocks too, which as per my sheet should have been EXCLUDED !! But no 0 effs. 3. When I told the massager to reduce the pressure on my legs , he had to call the receptionist to ask her to explain him what I am saying. And then hE literally spent 5 mins on my legs lightly massaging it and at this point it felt like air touching my body rather than a massage. So it was either full force or nothing at all. 4. Also if you are a guy and doing a full body massage they will make you remove your shirt. For the girls, they don't. So that's cool but then my wife was saying how rubbish her masseuse was. She didn't feel pressure on any part at any time. Not sure if he had a fight with his friend or wife or parents but I can sure tell you I was the victim of his anger !!!! At this poInt my back is now swollen from all the ridiculous pressure this dude put on my back. Please save your bucks and avoid this place. I hope it helps someone !! read more

Loved our massages with CoCo & Jesse!!! The sister's side-by-side was absolutely wonderful!!!

Kevin was amazing!!! I did the combo for an hour and it was pure bliss. I had quite a few 'tight' spots he really worked at- which is good by me. I know some people don't like too much pressure- but I love it. He ended with a hot stone massage on my upper back and it was a pleasant surprise. read more

Great service very fair pricing and most important everything was very clean the facilities didn't have to wait long for appointment

I redeemed a gift certificate and chose a foot massage, and it was great! Called in for an appointment and was greeted on time. I received a very thorough foot massage. I liked the experience, my first foot massage ever. I walked out like walking on a cloud. read more

I am visiting for a few days, and I generally enjoy reflexology massage. I find it extremely relaxing and therapeutic and usually get 2 or 3 per month. I figured since I am on vacation that I would get one, and I chose this spa based on its reviews. Now I give this place one star for a couple of reasons. 1) I called about 20 minutes for my arrival and asked if they had any availability for two people. The man who answered the phone said yes if we came now. (It was myself and a friend). When we arrived, we were then told it would be a 30 minute wait, and proceeded to direct us to a sitting area. 2) The man then gets on the phone, and calls someone, I assume who worked at the cannery row location. About 10 minutes later, a woman appeared, who checked in with the man, then came back to the lobby, pointed at me and then pointed at a chair in the room. 3) She never smiled once. After I sat down at the chair, she walked away to the back room to fill the bucket. It was not an enclosed space, and the faucet was fairly loud when she was filling the bucket. It really made the environment uncomfortable. But, I tried to look past that part. This woman carried herself like she didn't want to be there, and my "massage" (a term I use loosely in this case reflected in the same way. 4) When I was getting my "massage" the pressure was too much that it made the experience uncomfortable. She uses way too much pressure, especially in my shoulder blades where she literally dug her elbow into it. When I jerked a little bit because she was working a particularly tough area, she asked "softer?" to which I said yes, and then she started laughing and talking with the other therapists (the talking had been going on off and on the entire time). 5) Lastly, when I got up to pay, there was a paper taped to the counter saying that the minimum tip should be $5. I tipped below this because I left with my back hurting from her putting too much pressure, but they show how much you should tip saying "our therapists work very hard," almost to make you feel guilty. Needless to say, I'll just stick to the ones at home. read more

I had a male masseuse and he was a little rough. I told him he was to doing it too hard but he didn't understand English. He kept going ugh. My back was so sore for two days from his massage. Won't go here again. read more

Terrible customer service... 3 times I've tried to 'Walk In' only to be told to come back later. Once, I was in a relaxed state mid-massage & my genitalia was touched. I was able to rouse myself from the meditative state & leave immediately. Since I wasn't wearing glasses at the time, I was unable to identify the man who touched me inappropriately. The price is cheap, but buyer beware. read more

It is definitely not a very fancy place in fact it is almost a public massage place with 8 beds in one dimly lit room with 8 chinese/korean men in operation. I took a 90 minutes deep tissue body massage from the main guy, may be the owner or something. This was most certainly one of the best deep tissue massages I have got. Still have a feeling on by upper back. So far I can say it was worth it. read more

Comfoot Spa - Massage Near Me - Monterey, California

My husband and I were in town visiting Monterey for a couple days. He wanted to go get a couples massage. We read a couple reviews and decided to go. It was by far the worst massage ever! It was pure torture! Digging in my back with her pointy elbows. Then when she got to my neck I thought it would be relaxing. It literally felt like she was trying to pull my head off. By far the worst 30 minutes ever! Save your money! Don't go here unless you want to be in pain. They also don't understand English. Terrible experience. read more

We decided to check this place out after being on our feet all day. We thought "for only $29/ hour, even if it's terrible, we aren't losing much". This....place....was.... awesome. Expecting only a foot massage, so was pleasantly surprised when he started with a face/head massage. Then massaged my shoulders and arms. He spent quite a bit of time on my legs and feet, which was amazing. I thought we were done after that, but he had me flip over and he started on my back. Yes, the pressure was a lot more intense than I am looking for in a massage, but he was getting all the knots out of my back. I really do highly recommend this place. Ended up tipping the guy $20 and felt that he earned every penny. Thinking about going back tomorrow before we leave town!!! read more

I love comfort spa for my relax spot. We had 6 people trip from LA to Santa Cruz and called for massage, no one else can do for 6 people but Comfort spa. Comfoot Spa - 2 locations has table massage. If you want more relax just choose table massage. - Massage Near Me - Monterey, California

Great place with straight to the point service. I had extreme tightness in my upper back. I opted for the special (30 min body massage + 30 min reflexology). My masseuse targeted the muscles on my back that needed work without me needing to tell him which spots to hit. He dug pretty deep into the muscles as if he knew that's what they needed! When I left, my upper back was immediately sore, but not in painful way. More like, my muscles have been locked up for a long time and now are ready to relax and recuperate! read more

I did the combo work(foot with body massage), i would not recommend this place. The table massage was so-so, majority of the time the person pressed on my spine and around it. I looked forward for the foot part, which was a little better but still below par. My feet soaked on warm water for maybe less than 5 min while i got a head and shoulder rub. The foot was massage portion could have lasted a little longer and could have asked if pressure was fine or needed deeper or whatever. Gave them a star for location and not being busy and the so-so actual foot massage part. I dont have experience with any other place around Monterey so i have none to compare. read more

Definitely one of the best reflexology places I've been to! I was walk-in and seen right away. I indulged in 90-minute massage. Prices were great imo and especially for the area. The facility was clean, bathroom was clean and the masseuses wear gloves which is really nice! Other nice perks were that they had a locker to place your items along with a key to keep on you so you don't have to worry about them. I recommend wearing something very comfortable that you don't mind getting lotion on etc. Like yoga wear! Also, definitely turn yourself off, don't be the annoying person who's self phone keeps going off and ruins everyone peace. They do a very thorough job of massaging out every part and especially focusing on knots. I'll definitely be coming back when I visit the area again! read more

My first Chinese massage. I did the one hour foot massage but it felt more like a full body massage from head to toe, definitely exceed my expectations! Would definitely come back again. I would suggest to call ahead even if it's about 30min ahead. They are great about getting you in even if it's close to their closing time. read more
