Unfortunately due to circumstances, they had to come later than scheduled, but they were very communicative via text to update me on where they were. One of the owner Nate and his son Jaden showed up and spent a lot of time assessing our issue (issues with heat and wanting maintenance) and doing what they could to resolve the problem, even when it was dark and cold. They made an appt with us to come back at the end of the week in the daylight so they could assess a few more things. The second time he came with his son Jace, who works alongside his dad. They spent a lot of time with out and gave us a lot of good information to know. They were able to do what they could, but they will need to come back out in the spring to see if we have any leaks. We got our invoice fairly soon after services were completed. They charge a fee for coming out and assessing the problem as well as any services completed. For the two days they were here and the refrigerate they put into our system, our bill was $384. Great small and new business (they only opened in May 2025), but Nate has many years experience! Happy to support them and would definitely higher them again.

Getting central air conditioning became a top priority. We got our first quote with Lance Cummings crew. Rich came to our house to do an inspection and provided us a quote later that same day. We also got a quote to additionally replace our outdated furnace. Everyone says to get another quote, so we did. We got a quote from Pacific Heat and Cooling. The price difference was jaw dropping. We're talking about THOUSANDS of dollars more through Pacific. My husband showed pacific our quote from Lance Cummings and they completely slandered the Cummings business. I was disgusted with how Pacific acted toward their competitors quote. It was clear Pacific could not beat their price. In hope to gain their clients, pacific choose to down talk Cummings business. We had Lance and Blade Cummings crew install both a new furnace and air conditioning. Everything was done professionally. Everything Pacific said poorly about Lance Cummings crew, revealed to be untrue. I'm glad I made the decision to go with Lance Cummings and I hope fellow competitors stop slandering their business. It's not Lances fault that their quotes are unbeatable. I would recommend Cummings business to anyone looking for HVAC work.

The good: We had oil heating that went bad and they were…read moreable to put in a heat pump and rip out the existing furnace, hook up the new unit to the central ducting and run lines outside to the unit. We haven't had an issue with the unit since install 1.5 years ago. The bad: The workers put their food on our clothes that were on top of the dryer, staining a pair of jeans with grease. They stained the carpet with the old furnace removal, however paid to have the carpets cleaned and the stains came out - it was inconvenient and another day spent waiting on someone to fix their goof. I had to convince the workers to put the outdoor fan unit on the far side of the house vs where they wanted to put it which was on the other side of our deck's privacy wall. Thank goodness I was adamant here because it would have been SO noisy when it kicks on and we are relaxing on the deck during the summer months. The lines they ran along our house are insulated, but the insulation failed shortly after being installed so now there's tear spots in the black line insulation and looks bad. The lines were also ran poorly. Instead of running them lower along the foundation, they came up around the back door and curved the line to run higher. It's an eye sore plain and simple. We had the install during November so we spent no time outside. Later that spring we noticed how crappy it looked when we were outside more and asked if they could re-run the lines, figuring it would take hardly anything since everything was already in place. I inquired 3+ times about this, even emailing pictures but I was ghosted with no response. You'd think paying $13,500 for a new unit you would get better customer service.... Lastly, they called for a yearly inspection and asked if I'd like to schedule one. I agreed! At the end when I made sure it didn't cost anything, that's when they informed me it would be $200-300 (I can't recall the exact price). I would've been hosed had I not asked. I was shocked at least a few weren't included in this huge purchase. If I could go back I would choose a different company, but that's why hindsight is 20/20. You live and you learn.

Lots of places were dishonest, just tried to sell us refrigerant for the loop without trying to find the actual issue. Then we found this company and Paul came and was phenomenal. Super detailed and actually cared about getting a quality job- not milking us for a quick sale. this is quality work you can actually rely on. Thanks Paul, would definitely recommend this company moving forward. Their quotes for pricing was also significantly less (half) than other places for the same work and material so not only is this place quality but also cost effective.

I had a very pleasant experience with Rain City Plumbing. Their office was responsive when I…read morecontacted them, and I really appreciate that they were able to come out to see my condo to give me a free estimate. I contacted multiple other plumbers and they all charged $35-150 just to visit and give an estimate (they "waived" this fee if you chose to hire them, which I think is their strategy). Rain City Plumbing was able to come out and take a look at my shower quickly, and they gave me very clear and transparent estimates for how much it might cost. The two gentlemen who came by were uniformed, neat, and very polite and patient when explaining things to me. They were respectful of my home, and took off their shoes without me asking (when they needed to go further into a carpeted area to look at the back of my wall). They also followed up with me later to offer me a discount on the cost of parts. When I told them I was waiting to hear back from some of the other plumbers I had contacted, they were understanding and they actually recommended that I shop around and get quotes. I really appreciate that they were very willing to educate me as a new home owner, instead of trying to take advantage of me. While I didn't hire Rain City Plumbing to work on my job in the end, it was purely because I got a more competitive rate elsewhere. I still would highly rate Rain City Plumbing because of the great customer service I received. Thank you!
