We had Best Choice Heating install our heating and air conditioning system about a year ago, and…read moreafter living with it through all seasons, I can honestly say the experience and results have been outstanding. Owner Rohan, Brett (scheduler and service technician), and their entire crew were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about getting everything done right. Our installation turned out to have several unexpected challenges, but instead of taking shortcuts or treating them as problems for us to solve, they stayed with it, communicated clearly, and worked through every issue until everything met our expectations. The crew showed up when they said they would, kept the work areas clean, treated our home with respect, and paid attention to details throughout the installation. We always felt informed and never pressured. One year later, the system has worked flawlessly and has exceeded our expectations for comfort and performance. Since our installation, I've referred many friends and acquaintances to Best Choice Heating, and every person has reported back with 100% positive experiences. It's rare to find a company that combines technical expertise, excellent customer service, integrity, and follow-through this well. We would absolutely recommend Best Choice Heating to anyone looking for heating and air conditioning work in the Tacoma area.

He came out to the house to see our current setup, size of house and discussed options with us. We got a quote a short time later. Nate and his son were great to work with. Our former 80% gas furnace with an issue was removed, the new high efficiency heat pump was installed using our existing duct work. They explained how it worked, fired it up and we are very pleased with the result. Nate was very knowledgeable, experienced and creative in dealing with our existing system's limitations. Highly recommended! Update: Since last fall we have had a successful heating season with the new heat pump and are now enjoying the cooling benefits during the hottest days of the summer so far. Never had air conditioning before, but this is great!! Best house improvement we could have done!!!

I was able to contact Curt on a Friday and he showed up with his son the following Monday. Turned out we needed a new ignitor. Curt said the part would likely not be in until after Christmas. Well sir, he called me this morning with the great news that he'd just received the part. He came by this morning--his son was on another repair job--and installed the part. WE'VE GOT WHOLE HOUSE HEAT AGAIN! Then we discovered our thermostat was no longer working. Curt did what he could to get it working but we're going to need a new one. No problem, we're getting a replacement today from another source. This is the 3rd time we've used CJ's and they remain our go-to for all furnace repairs. Curt's a wonderful, extremely friendly guy who knows his stuff. He explains everything as he works (I like to ask questions). His son is slowly taking over the business, and from what I saw on that day he's all set to take over the family business. CJ's Quality Air Systems is a great locally-owned small business and it's a pleasure to recommend them for all HVAC services.

Take's Your Money and RUNS!!!!!…read more We had a system installed in the fall of 2022. $42,000 later it has been ongoing problems. Initially they did not get it hooked into the main grid correctly. They came out to fix it and let it run. When I checked the system it did not seem to be working correctly. They came back out and so forth and so on. Then we had to trim trees that we were previously told were fine. Now I have hard data that the system has not been producing anywhere near what they said it would do. We have called, left messages, and sent emails. No response. Find someone else and wait to work with a company who cares.
