I never met Rich, but he was gracious enough to solve my electrical issue over the phone without coming out for a house call. He requested photos of the problem area and a description of the symptoms which I provided. He gave me a solution which to my limited skillset I was able to complete and the problem was solved. I greatly appreciated that as I know many of these electricians are swamped with appointments and couldn't fit me in for weeks. Take's Your Money and RUNS!!!!! We had a system installed in the fall of 2022. $42,000 later it has been ongoing problems. Initially they did not get it hooked into the main grid correctly. They came out to fix it and let it run. When I checked the system it did not seem to be working correctly. They came back out and so forth and so on. Then we had to trim trees that we were previously told were fine. Now I have hard data that the system has not been producing anywhere near what they said it would do. We have called, left messages, and sent emails. No response. Find someone else and wait to work with a company who cares. read more

Starting to head in the right direction: So, we've had on and off problems with our system. It has taken about 18 months to fix a bad board and we've had back and forth with the company. I spend a great deal of time talking with Dale about the issues and he's got a lot on his plate. To his credit, when he's on site and talking with someone, he does not take customer calls. In the past he did not always respond to e-mails but since we've had more ongoing contact, he's actually checking in and communicating with us. When I see the great outcomes in the coming months, I look forward to upgrading my review to a 4 or 5 star. read more

Had our service upgraded from 100A to 200A. Rich arrived for the estimate, on time and masked. Very personable and answered my copious questions (as a retired engineer I had lots). Very detailed answers and willing to address any concern I had. At the end of the estimate I felt like I had a good grasp of the work involved. Went with his company and at the scheduled time Travis and Igor showed up to do the work. Again, arrived masked. And, again, were very informative about what the day process would be like and willingly answered any questions I had. They worked as an efficient team. Rich checked in part way through the day and the process went smoothly. A long bundled up day (mid Dec), but when they left we had power back and everything working fine. They came next day to do some cosmetics button-ups and inspection prep. While the inspection raised a couple issues, Rich, Travis & Igor worked out solutions to get the corrections done quickly w/ minimal interruption and it readily passed the next one. All three gents were easy to work with, never (as far as I could tell) tired of my how-things-work questions (enquiring minds, etc) and were very efficient in their work processes. We have a outlet that is in connection to a switch and we want to make it always hot. I was told by Shawn that this job will most likely take less than one hour and 2 hours at the worst case and they charge 300$ per hour, but we ended up with a 3 hour work and 1000$+ bill. The technicians are very professional and did a good job but I wish they could have let us know the price estimate once they figured out the solution. I feel deceived by Shawn's estimate and regret not having different companies for bidding. read more

Wow, I can't believe all the strong ratings for this company as our experience has been HORRIBLE. $40+K in and we are still 91% dependent on the grid. We went for months without having the electrical system set up correctly. Contacted the owner, thinking he might get the ball rolling to fix things, and he was dismissive and unaware of how the systems his company installs work. They don't check back to makes sure what they have done works. I'm about ready to call someone else in to fix what they did wrong. read more

Reached out and coordinated with Shawn for a power outlet installation for my laundry closet (had only one outlet but needed two for a stackable washer/dryer). I shared some pictures via text and Shawn talked through the work that might be needed with me. Communication was easy and clear. Dave and Travis showed up as scheduled and performed the installation promptly. Though needed just one outlet, the installation was a bit more complicated. It required them to move the washer/dryer out of the closet, removed the bathroom mirror and medicine cabinet, cut holes into the drywall. They also had to run the wire from the electric panel within the walls from the kitchen, bathroom, and ultimately to the laundry closet. They were helpful, polite, and efficient. I was in the process of getting multiple quotes from contractors about switching out a 40 amp breaker with a 30 amp. This was recommended by the company that installed my new combo wall oven/microwave as its specs say it's rated 30 amp. Rich was the only one who told me that I didn't need to get this done as the oven circuitry and the whole house surge suppression system that I have installed will protect me and I have a very small chance of anything going wrong. I was cold-called by Shawn Odom this morning and when I said that this moment wasn't a good time he told me he "paid $139 for your phone number" and then hung up. I actually couldn't believe how rude he was, so I called back to clarify cause I thought he said something about charging me that money. After that, I gave him the satisfaction of feeling like his money was worth it...too bad he continued to be rude. He gave me a quote that based on my understanding of the work that needed to be done was far above the required work we would need. I actually pretended not to know what I was talking about because I thought it would be interesting to see how much he'd try to upsell me. If you want an electrician, don't put your information into "Angies List" or "Home Advisor" or "Houzz" unless you want to be called by folks who try to guilt you into business... that was my mistake. Called and left a message that I wanted to have a ceiling fan installed in our two-story entry way. No one returned my call. I called again and spoke to Matt. He gave me a rough estimate over the phone but said he would send Josh out to give me a firm estimate. Josh never showed so I called Matt a half hour after the appointment time. He said something came up, but no one bothered letting me know. Matt rescheduled for the next week and said he would be here himself. Once again, no one showed up or bothered to let me know. I called Matt and asked if he was on his way. What do you know, something came up again and I was not notified. I asked why I was not informed, again, and he hung up on me.
