We paid almost 2K to have an electric outlet installed for our electric car in the garage. After a few months of usage the charger would abruptly stop charging. After a couple of months of this issue, I emailed Jerry (Denise seems to manage the work orders and his schedule). Jerry showed up within the day to check his work, but didn't have the part that would replace a potentially faulty breaker. The next day Denise (his wife) communicated Jerry could come by with the proper part from Home Depot, but wouldn't be responsible for installing a bad part and thus a minimum charge of $250 for an hour of labor would be required to fix it. Our question was why are we financially responsible when it's not our fault a faulty part was installed? Denise became increasingly unprofessional and insulting when asked "Where did I buy the circuit breaker from?" She responded "That's what troubleshooting is" "I've wasted my whole morning discussing this" "we're so busy, we have so many customers" and thus my customer status doesn't much matter to them (in saying as much). So troubleshooting their bad parts on my dime is an acceptable business practice. Jerry is very calm and he is professional himself. It is not worth paying for a product that fails when they decide which parts to use and say their labor is warranteed forever. There's no warranty at all in that business practice. If I bought a car and the starter broke within 6 months and the warranty was bumper to bumper, they wouldn't tell me it's not their fault the manufacturer made a bad part. Why is it okay here? Bottom line, $2000 later and replacing THEaifaulty circuit breaker wasn't worth it to them to keep us as a customer. Jerry, where are you addressing any of what I said in my review with your response? Bottom line is the warranty is useless and Denise is unprofessional and disrespectful. read more

Jerry and Denise are outstanding. I whole-heartedly endorse them and Electron for any electrical work you need done. Expect reasonable prices accompanied with transparency and high quality. Jerry completely reworked a rather complex rental that is about 35 years old. We didn't quite know what he would find as the project started. He replaced the panel, set her up to be compatible with a backup generator, installed new lights, and generally enhanced the safety of the building for future tenants. His work was clean and detailed - not the hack job that too often accompanies electricians who want to get a job done quickly. He completed this work after I reached out to at least a dozen electricians who I either didn't trust or who for different reasons were not good fits. We had a problem on New Years Day with electricity not flowing through one of our circuits. I called multiple places, but nobody picked up or returned my calls. Jerry and Denise not only answered immediately, Jerry was even able to talk me through the problem over the phone to the extent that I was able to diagnose and fix it myself. (One of the outlets was arcing and replacing it fixed the issue.) Outstandingly helpful and kind people. If I ever need any electrical work done in the future, I will definitely call them. read more

Prompt communication, very friendly and they look for ways to save you money. We had thought we needed an entire electrical panel replacement but they were nice enough to point out we could make do with smaller repairs. While we didn't wind up hiring them due to our buyer's deciding to just take money instead of repairs, I recommend this place to anyone needing honest work done. read more

Completely over charged us for work. Minimum of $225 to do anything which we were never informed of. The guy came out and spent 5 minutes here. $225!!! Ridiculously unhappy. Additional update: I found on another review site that they had charged for work that was $68, $190, etc... in the last year. Obviously lied about their minimum charge and decided to take advantage of a customer. I informed the business of this and they said they did not care. Complete unprofessionalism. I feel robbed. Jeremy from Electron Electric was great. I called them up in the morning with an electrical issue that I couldn't figure out on my own in the timeframe I needed, and they came out the same day and fixed it! I had done a lot of the diagnositc work prior to them arriving, and Jeremy was able to listen to what I had to say, validate assumptions, and figure out where one of my assumptions had gone wrong. He was a real pleasure to work with. I will definately call him again for my next problem! read more

Jerry gave me a quote of 700 - 1,000 and never called me telling me that expenses were more. I got the bill over the phone from Denise his wife and she said expenses were more blah, blah and the price was a little more yikes $2,399 and change. That is way more then a little more. My builder recommended Jerry but I will never do business with him again. Denise even told me that Jerry saw signs of rats - really Jerry works under houses I bet he sees rodent droppings most places he works. I am so mad about this but there is nothing I can do but same some other person from using him and his company. read more

Electron Electric was recommended to me by my cousin. I had already had another electrician working to diagnose the problem in my 50 year old cabin without much progress. It was a confusing electrical problem. Jerry and Denise drove to my place on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, which was a delightful surprise. They very quickly figured out the problem and encouraged me to call the utility company and even what I should say to them when they arrived. I especially appreciated how professional they were and seemed willing to look past a dirty messy house that had no running water or much power for almost a month. The price was very fair and reasonable and they even threw in some free gardening - a wisteria had been allowed to wrap around the line and weatherhead which was a big part of the problem. They are both really lovely people and I would not hesitate to give them my highest recommendation. read more
