We had a kitchen plumbing need and Sean and Darren came very quickly and solved the problem. Their service was friendly and professional.

This is the second time that I've used this company. The owner came both times, and remembered my…read moreplace from the first time three years ago. I was pleased with the work both times. Counting the business owner, three plumbers came today. This time my initial request was to replace two faucets. The plumbers who came to give an estimate a week ago discovered that the cold water valve needed replacing. Notice must be given to building residents 3-4 days in advance of water shutoffs per my HOA rules. A few months after the first time I needed this plumbing company, a contractor working on remodeling my kitchen should have found the valve problem. But since he did not, the silver lining is the quality of the work by this company. I have complete faith that the replacement valve will work perfectly since they installed it. They showed me the plastic valve they replaced and how it would not turn at all. We all liked the faucets I chose for them to install. In the bathroom my glass waterfall faucet has LED lights to indicate cold, warm and hot water. After installing it the plumber showed me a video of the lights working before I went in to try it myself. The kitchen faucet is a Moen which looks nice to start with, and has some great functionality. As the handle is turned for the water the head floats down a little. Then it is possible to select an angle for the head to remain, for example 45 degrees. It will stay in the selected position while the water runs. The owner took a video for himself! Besides the top quality of the work, I appreciate the polite and respectful manners of the owner and all the plumbers.

Our kitchen faucet was coming loose from the sink. I checked the internet for local plumbers. I…read moreended up calling Bee's Plumbing as U had chatted with one of their employees in the recent past. As this wasn't an emergency, the dispslatcher said it would be today or tomorrow before a plumber would be sent. He was sent today. Sean called and arrived early afternoon and looked at the repair. He presented us three options and solid estimates. We chose the middle one and then decided to also ask about a toilet replacement. Again, Sean presented us options and we agreed to one He gave us. As he didn't have the toilet on his repair truck, Bee's dispatched an employee with a new toilet. Sean was very professional in his work, answering questions as he proceeded with the work. He mentioned a couple of things that needed replacing due to their aging. We agreed to have them replaced. When Sean presented the invoice, it was exactly as he stated. At no time did he try to "upsell" items were didn't need, unlike other plumbing firms in this area that are heavy TV advertisers. I would recommend Bee's Plumbing to anyone that ask! Thank you, Sean! And, thanks to your employer for all they have taught you, in not only the aspects of plumbing but also in customer service!

We called Bee's when we were in a bind, and they got a plumber out quickly. He installed a kitchen…read morefaucet we supplied, replaced a tub spout, and replaced a dual-outlet emergency shutoff valve, all in under an hour and a half. The work was clean and everything works. Pricing is where I'd caution others. Bee's uses flat-rate price book pricing, quoted on an iPad before work starts. We paid $475 to install our own faucet, $489 for the tub spout, and $309 for the valve: $1,324 total after a $75 discount. Afterward I asked what their standard rates were, and it took about a week of texts and emails to get an answer. The team that handles texts said they have no access to pricing and kept referring me back to the plumber. When I got an answer, the plumber had discounted both items below the company's price book. The rates themselves are steep for quick jobs. One more thing worth knowing: their invoices include a clause saying customers may not post about the contract or its specifics on review sites. The federal Consumer Review Fairness Act makes clauses like that void in consumer contracts, so I'm sharing my honest experience. Good, fast service if you're in a pinch. We had a new main water line to our house installed to replace the original galvanized steel. We…read morefound Akers through a reference from another plumber giving us a quote for interior work as part of the same overall project, who told us that while he would be willing to do the exterior/trenchless work himself, we should really contact this company (Akers) he knew, that it was their bread and butter. We did decide to use Akers, and overall we were very pleased with that choice. The factors that most won me over from their estimate was the clear level of expertise and familiarity that Ryan showed, along with the confidence from knowing that someone who was going to be doing the work was the one evaluating the situation. As an example, the path from the meter to our house crosses under the driveway as well as intersecting with our neighbor's side-sewer in an easement. Plenty of other plumbing companies expressed they'd have no trouble dealing with the situation in a trenchless run, but only Akers went as far as pointing out the exact spots they'd dig their pits and how that pathing would make sure there was no chance of boring through the side-sewer. Similarly, Ryan was the only one to point out how the existing line was part of our electrical grounding, and discuss using copper for a suitable distance outside the house before the switchover to PEX in order to keep things functional and compliant. In terms of contracting/business-ops there some amount of looseness that a larger company might not display (minor delays in sending documents, nebulous arrival time on the day of the work) but nothing that was really problematic, and I'd certainly rather have the tiny hiccups of working with real humans versus some overly-polished private-equity machine. Traci was gracious and clear when responding to my inquests, even over the weekend when she was self-admittedly out of town, which is above and beyond in my book. In terms of price I think they were perfectly fair, they weren't the lowest quote we had, but landed slightly below most of the other numbers we got, not anything where I felt like I was getting an enormous steal, but I had no qualms about the number they asked. The actual project work itself went great, they had the entire replacement done on one day in about 5 or 6 hours with minimal disruption, and even took the time to keep the top sod layer for each pit relatively intact in order to replace, so that by the time they left, you could barely tell where they had dug. The minimal interior work that was part of the project (new hole through the foundation concrete, new main shutoff valve and hookup to the rest of the interior plumbing) was similarly spotless. If we ever need similar outdoor plumbing work in the future, Akers is going to be an easy first call for an estimate.

Andy showed up on the same day I called to assess the issues, pointing out specific concerns. Once…read morethe insurance company approved, Andy's team got on it. They were professional and courteous. The work was completed in a day, which was a complete water main replacement. When they finished, you couldn't even tell there had been work done because of their thorough clean up. Working with Traci, the office manager, was a pleasure. This is a great local company that I would highly recommend.
