    Burrata Flatbread

A spacious and clean Irish pub dive bar. Coming in at 4:30pm on a rainy Saturday, two gentlemen at the bar were attentive and welcoming. Menus for food are QR code, but we weren't really sure about specialty drink selection if they had one. Then again it's a dive bar. Lots of draft options. We put in food which came out pretty quickly. Though you pick it up from this small window where the lower the food to you in the dining area. The flat bread was more like a burrata and bruschetta on toast? The name of the app is misleading though the description is right. The fried pickles were SO delicious. Crunchy, not too greasy, and there was a generous portion. Highly recommend. No frills. Exactly what you expect.

While babylon village has ample bars/pubs/restaurants to suit just about everyone's tastes, only 1 has a place that stays open late! Metered parking on Deer Park Ave in front- municipal lot behind. All the wood n such gives the inside a bit of a cabin/lodge feel. During warm weather months, an outdoor area and "back bar" to address the overflow. *was there for post Pride event- last summer and this place was jammed! Local bar feel and vibe, lots of locals and as stated, late night hours draw in a younger crowd so us "mature" folk who may not want to be surrounded by 20sumthins be advised. However, a great spot to catch your favorite sports teams on the tube, plenty of televisions to croon your neck at. Full bar and lots of taps. Decent pub fare as well. Priced accordingly and clean.

Great for late night bites. Typical bar food menu. The mozzarella sticks weren't as great as I hoped, the cheese just didn't seem to melt. The calamari was good. I wouldn't recommend coming here for just food but overall it is a great bar to have some drinks at.

Yeah, well, come hate us on Yelp is their motto and I know why people do but you go to scary Mary's when the nights winding down to give it a bit of a shock to the system, or you go for the wings or your bartenders or just for some good wholesome fun. I just like that you can poo inside of a giant Guinness glass when needed.

After a long day of work, this is a great spot for friends to hang out, the drink selection is adequate, and the bartender is friendly.

We came here for a late night to meet up with friends to grab some drinks for a friend's birthday. Mary Carroll's has that laid back bar feel where the locals hang out. Friends and family meet up to chill and grab a few beers. We stayed more towards the front of the bar where there is hightop tables across from the bar. The are three sections of beer on tap at the bar. So the selection has a good variety. Not sure what to get? The bartender can give you suggestions based on your usual drink of choice. They are friendly and happy to help. I haven't tried the food, so I can not say how it is. We came early in the night, but as the night got longer the crowd started to roll in. Overall it's a good place to grab a beer and catch up with friends.

Beat pretzel on Long Island!!! Ate the whole thing and left no crumbs! Must come on down for one

Prost! Best Spot all year round for: catching a local band, watching sports on a giant screen…read more(tented), celebrating Oktoberfest, and more. This place is the things you'd want in an outdoor Beer garden - casual eats in the Brat Haus and beers on tap. Not to mention the in-house private event space that does have air conditioning. Perfect for parties of 20-700! Says it on the website and I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it myself. This review is for The Hive restaurant specifically since that's where I had my meal. A beautiful bar with a Stein wall with lockers for patrons who wish to store them - you see that just past the host station. The indoor dining room just beyond. We started with the Wurst Sampler Platter. Think bratwurst, knackwurst, krainerwurst, and jalapeno cheddar bratwurst. I had no idea there were so many varieties and it was paired with the best potato salad I've ever had. Authentic and delicious sauerkraut to match. Also ordered the House-Cured Slab bacon, paired with a blackberry gastrique. Excellent choices I must say. For dinner, we just had to try the Schnitzel. Admittingly, it was hard to decide (all were veal options and there was one chicken option)! I chose the Champignon Rahmschnitzel and hubby got the Jager Schnitzel. Both were topped with sauce and mushrooms - but entirely different. The Rahmschitzel was breaded veal and had a white creamy mushroom sauce. So delicious! And the Jager one was pan-seared veal with a demi-glace sauce. Outstanding as expected...I was literally drooling at every plate that passed me by. Topped my meal with some hard cider and I was golden. Stuffed and happy! Plattduetsche Park is so rich in history and they have established roots in the community going back 100+ years (established in 1901). What a fantastic place to be - come for the great cuisine and the culture. No special occasion needed. (Reservations suggested for The Hive restaurant - opens daily starting at 3PM). BTW, the Ompahfest (festival) is on Sept. 20th, 2026. Zum Wohl!

We were shoulder to shoulder to each other. I had to straddle a table leg because of the way the table was set up. I could not get my chair under the table. There was barely any room for our plates and glasses. Even though it was a Mother's Day event, there was not a kids' menu- which makes no sense bc you know kids will be at this event! Two of our dishes had to be sent back because they were cold. It's nice that they hire the local kids and the service was good. Overall, just a bad experience. I do not think we will come back for a special holiday again.

When you walk in now, there's a host who escorts you to a table in the main dining area. The first thing you notice is the lighting and that it is WAY too bright. The whole room is so brightly lit that it feels more like a sterile operating room than a brewery where you'd want to hang out for a couple of beers. They've added a full food menu, which is a nice addition, but the entire setup now makes you feel like you're expected to order a meal. It no longer feels like the kind of place where you can just mosey in, grab a beer, find a spot, and hang out for a while. The outdoor area has also been completely covered and now looks almost like a greenhouse. I'm not entirely sure what the experience out there is supposed to be because, despite it being completely empty when we visited, they weren't allowing anyone to sit outside. The funniest part was watching people walk in after us. Almost everyone seemed to have the same confused reaction. First when they realized they had to wait for someone to tell them where to sit, and then when they walked into what might be the brightest brewery dining room in America.

The vibe was really nice, and there were so many different food trucks to choose from, so there's definitely something for everybody. I grabbed some boneless chicken from one of the trucks, and it was really good. I also got some water because apparently birthday me needed to stay hydrated The views were definitely a highlight. There are so many great photo opportunities, and the skyline views are beautiful. As a photographer, I was absolutely looking around like, "Oh, I could shoot over there... and over there..." My only real complaint was the music. Since it was Labor Day weekend, I was really expecting at least a little West Indian music, and there was none! I think having more variety in the music would have made the whole experience even better. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely come back. The food options, atmosphere, views, and photo opportunities make it a fun spot to hang out, especially when the weather is nice. Just give me a little soca next time and we're good!

This is a serious concern I am writing here regarding a staff member at Pier13Hoboken earlier…read moretoday, August 30, 2026, around 2:00 PM. My group consisted of four adults and one child. We arrived at the pier around 1:00 PM and finished eating by 2:00 PM. When we went to collect bags for our food, a staff member at the wristband booth stopped my friend because he did not have a wristband. My friend was unaware of the wristband requirement, as he had been sitting with us the entire time. Previously, another staff member had passed by our table to clear empty bowls and did not mention or inquire about the missing wristband. When my friend told the staff member at the booth that he had been sitting with us the situation escalated. The staff member became belligerent, raised his voice, and clearly became upset with my friend's explanation. The staff member explained that he hadn't seen my friend's wrist because I was blocking the view, which was why no previous warning had been given. He then loudly stated that everyone at the pier is aware that you must have a wristband. Note: My friend did hand over his ID with no issues and got his wrist band from the staff member. At that moment, I felt the staff member was becoming physically aggressive. To avoid confrontation, I advised my friend to walk away. As we did, the staff member shouted, "Yeah, you better walk away." This behavior was unprofessional, intimidating, and made us feel unsafe. We came to Pier13 expecting a welcoming environment, but instead experienced aggression from your staff. I ask that you investigate this incident and take appropriate measures to prevent such conduct in the future. I strongly believe this staff member at the booth is a danger to the people at the pier, especially elderly and children.
