I have never been there, but I used to frequent the McDonald's often over decade ago. My dad says that they are next door to each other. My dad got me a four-piece fried chicken meal. It came with a side, a biscuit, and a drink. My dad knows that I like the mashed potatoes with Cajun gravy and coleslaw. He got me the former, which is perfect to dip the chicken (regular recipe and not the spicy) into the gravy. He also got me a Diet Coke. My meal hit the spot. The Rose Tteokbokki had the perfect level of spice balanced by a distinct sweetness. I would have loved to add cheese, but the $5.50 surcharge felt difficult to justify. The Eggplant Dolsot was another enjoyable dish, and the $3 coffee surprisingly reminded me of dalgona coffee, being bold, creamy, and quite sweet, like a dessert to finish off the meal. The restaurant itself has a unique, modern aesthetic that makes the space feel warm and inviting. The staff were friendly throughout our visit and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
