New Chicken fast-food restaurant location in Leaside ! My first time trying this chain restaurant and really pleasantly surprised. Easy parking for pick up inside the Longos plaza. Bright clean interior and fast friendly service. We ordered the 9 piece chicken only half original and half spicy. Also two apple pies. Takeout chicken neatly packed in a environmentally friendly box with appropriate portion of napkins. At home we reheated the chicken a little in the oven. It tasted really crispy and fresh and most of all moist inside ! Spicy chicken was Cajun type spice on top and in the meat. Original chicken equally delicious tasted seasoned with salt and pepper not overly seasoned like some other chains. The white meat is moist and delicious. A lot of fried chicken restaurants don't do this well but Mary Brown got it right ! Overall nice fast food resto addition to the area. Watch out KFC and Churches !

Prices don't match the app. But staff are friendly. Chicken was good..., better than kfc!

We made a reservation at the site's recommendation and we're seated outside because another pup was already around. This gave more room for our pup to be himself with us. We ordered the seltzer they have there and I think it's on tap and we're provided water for both us and our dog. They let us know he could eat the steak raw but we did cook it on the grill plate only because he has 700 allergies and we didn't want the hassle. He gobbled up his tray without issue. We both ordered chicken and I ordered the sambal one I think. The only issue I had was that mine was a lot more heat than flavor. Maybe a bit more fish sauce would have provided the salty goodness I was looking for. My spouse liked his as he didn't go for heat lol. I loved the cauliflower bites because they were tangy and crispy. Our server was super great to talk to and loved our dog. I appreciated how often they checked on us. We will definitely be back.

It comes with chicken thigh pieces (I chose dark meat because its juicier) on top of fries. However next time, I think I would prefer sauce on the side because they went heavy with the sauces. No ketchup needed here. Service was quick and kutos to the staff in the kitchen who is cooking and dealing with all the orders coming in. It is a one man show here so please show him some grace if your order takes a bit longer. Not much to say about the ambiance because you cannot sit and dine here. Expect to take your meal and go. I would recommend coming here for sure!

Heard good things about this chain of fried chicken sandwiches and stopped by my local spot…read more The version on Pape is very close to the station and is a very tight fit on the inside -- more setup for takeaway, but there are a few stools if you absolutely must eat there. I tried the chicken bites with the Nashville hot spice level, and it does pack a punch. Comes with a side of ranch to cool it down. The chicken was really tender, as was the chicken in the hot honey sandwich. The sandwich comes with your choice of white or dark meat, and this option with spicy honey, jalapeños and a jalapeño aioli. Very delicious, although the brioche bun being brioche tends to fall apart easily. They do have milder spice options for those like me that can't handle the heat, and the meat is done right.

Just a heads up though, if you order "mild" it is still definitely spicy, but in a good way. That said, the service was a big downside. When I went with friends, the place was not even busy, but it still took about 20 minutes for our food to come out (yes I counted because we were in a rush). We only ordered two tenders with no drink. For something that feels like fast food, that is pretty unreasonable. I also went specifically to try the mozzarella sticks, but we were told they had not even started making them and it would take another 40 minutes, which is kind of wild. Even when our food was ready, things moved really slowly. The cashier took SEVERAL minutes just labeling and staring at each box, even though we all ordered the same thing, and then another minute just to put everything into a paper bag. Maybe it was his first day? Another frustrating part was that the washrooms were locked, so we could not even use them while we were there, which was a mild inconvenience, but I think bathroom access in a spicy chicken shop is a bit crucial. On top of that, it is pretty expensive for what you get. Overall, the food is the only thing really saving this place. It tastes incredible, but because of the slow service, locked washrooms, and high prices, I probably would not go back.

Was looking for a nice grilled chicken place and stumbled upon Galito. There's actually a few…read moreplaces around in Ontario, but I've landed in the Thorncliffe location. I ordered the whole chicken family meal which consisted of a whole chicken, two sides and garlic sticks. They advertised that it could be shared for 2-3 people and I feel that, it is just the amount of people to share with. They allowed me to have two flavours for my chicken so I opted for lemon & herb and spicy honey garlic. The spicy honey garlic had a much stronger taste than the lemon & herb, but nonetheless, they were both tasty. I also asked to have hot and spicy sauce on the side so I could eat it with the chicken. The hot sauce was actually really good (more medium than hot taste to me) and very flavourful, I may even get my chicken tossed in this sauce next time. They have a variety of sides to choose from - peri rice, peri potatoes, peri fries, fries, corn, coleslaw, mixed green, ceasar and peri veggies. I'm a huge fan of roasted potato balls so I got that and rice. I wouldn't mind if the portion of the sides were larger (esp more potato balls). Lastly, the garlic sticks were soft and tasty. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would be coming back whenever I'm in the area!

The patio looked inviting so popped in a few Sundays back in the evening. Have to mention that it was not busy at all, maybe 7-10 other people on the patio and a few inside. It took over 45 minutes to get a drink, then another 45 minutes to even order food. We had to flag the bartender down as our "server" was in deep conversation with a few regulars ( assumption on my part), but she seemed genuinely disinterested in serving anyone on the patio and seemed to be quite familiar with the folks she was chatting with. Finally order our food, and I paid 24$ for a chicken quesidilla that was just awful. It was almost just a tortilla, zero toppings, one of which was raw cucumber, which was wild. I used to love Betty's when it was on King, but sadly this was quite a disappointment. Very over priced, awful service and horrible food. The patio was beautiful tho, and maybe just caught them on an off night, but still...

We got the 50pc combo and it was enough to share between 5 people with some leftover. The price was pretty standard for the combo but seems to be expensive otherwise. The flavours we tried from most liked to least in my opinion: Mango habanero (spicy), Korean bbq, Lemon pepper, Honey garlic. The cajun fries and corn were also pretty good. The ranch definitely elevated everything as well. The main issue I had was with the chicken; the pieces were small with some that were very small. Overall the sauces were good but in general I'd say it's a bit over hyped.

Upon entering, the mix of greens, woods, and spacious seating was very inviting. However, the service was just decent. Now, let's talk about the food. I was disappointed with the size of the chicken wings compared to other places I've been to. The fries were okay but lacked a punch in flavour. As for the wings, I tried the BBQ bases, KBBQ, and Hickory Smoked BBQ. Despite being advertised with a bit of 'heat,' I could hardly taste any. The dipping sauce was also quite runny compared to the thicker consistency I prefer. Overall, I was a bit let down after all the hype on social media. Many say the U.S. locations are better. It doesn't hurt to try, but there are other wing places that I'd prefer.
