A combo has one side and a medium drink while a platter has two sides and a large drink. The chicken comes in non-spicy and spicy; we chose spicy. For the sides, we ordered Cole Slaw and Fries. It comes with 2 containers of dipping sauce and was told I could only choose one flavour, so I chose Buttery Ranch. The chicken was juicy and tender. I consider the spiciness level to be mid-spicy. They are known for their biscuit and I wasn't disappointed. It seems you can refill the drink using their self-serve soft drink machine. My mom doesn't like fast food but she loved Popeyes so much we came back two days later. Between the 2 days, we tried Mary Brown's for the first time ordering similar items; the chicken wasn't as good and the coleslaw was half the size. On our second visit, we ordered the 5-Piece Chicken Tenders Combo ($14.49), chosing only one side, the Coleslaw (which my mom loved). We found the Combo filling enough without having to buy a Platter. This time they let me choose 2 flavours for the dipping sauce; I chose Buttery Ranch and BBQ. I didn't like the BBQ for chicken tenders. One thing I noticed. For the 5 pieces, they put the buscuit and fries into a box and filled the rest with chicken tenders, so we got 6 pieces. When we bought the 5 pieces again without Fries, they put the biscuits into a box and put 7 pieces! Either this was generous of them or they put extra in it because we raved how good their tenders were so we came back. The restaurant is clean and service is courteous. With indoor seating, there are tables and booths, there is one semi-circular tables with 6 electric outlets. There is outdoor seating plus separate outdoor WiFi signal! There is medium-loud pop music playing in the background. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but the outdoor door button doesn't work when I was there. There are separate male/female washrooms and they are wheelchair accessible.  There is free parking in their private parking lot. There are high chairs for young children. Review 2023-050

It was all crunchy, burned skin and old hard meat. Today, I have a sore stomach..and this is the second time in a year of the two times I purchased Popeyes. It's not the same Popeyes as it started out to be. So disappointed as it was supposed to be a treat and all I could think was the total disregard they had to serve us old, gross, burned chicken when we all work very hard for that money. Each bite crumbled onto the seat. Never again.

UPDATE - Friday, April 25, 2025 - Customer Service - Worse than the SLOP they call food!…read more So I did what Mary Brown's asked. I emailed the "experience" team right after their reply here. It's now Friday. No response. No apology. Not even a "we're working on it." Just a black hole of corporate indifference. Let's rewind: Wings so dry I thought they were auditioning for a mummy exhibit Potatoes raw enough to still be photosynthesizing A biscuit with the texture of a hockey puck -- which I paid extra for And now? A customer service team that vanishes faster than buffalo sauce at this location This isn't just bad food. It's bad business. Don't tell customers to email you if you're going to ghost them harder than a bad ex. If this location is part of your franchise, you should be embarrassed. If it's not -- sue for defamation, because they're dragging your name through the deep fryer. Mary Brown's, your silence speaks volumes. Shame it's the only thing that showed up hot. ______________________________________ Original Review - Food My DOG won't even eat - April 21, 2025 Received wings that were dry. Received undercooked potatoes and an overly hard biscuit, which I paid extra for. Not even my dog would eat the wings or the potatoes. So basically food unfit for human or animal life. Seriously, how much can buffalo sauce actually cost? How cheap can you possibly get? Mary Brown's should be ashamed to have this location be part of their franchise.

For around $16 for a sandwich combo, you get a freshly fried chicken breast on a warm brioche bun + fries/onion rings/tater tots (pick one) + drink. My gf and I opted to share "The Standard" combo with onion rings, which was their original chicken sandwich. They ran out of ketchup but the girl manning the counter was super nice and gave me a lot of mayo packets to make up for it. On to the food. The breading itself is actually quite crispy (but oddly, not as crispy as popeye's). However, the chicken was SUPER juicy. Like really juicy and tender. It was also seasoned really well. A lot of ppl have the polarizing opinion that slaw shouldn't go on a chicken sandwich but I think it worked well here. The pickles and slaw both helped to cut back on the greasiness of the chicken. I was very pleased with the quality of the onion rings. Very homemade and super crispy. Sometimes you order fast food onion rings and the rings are all stuck together and the batter isn't properly fried. Not the case here. Very big rings and golden crunch. At $16 for a combo (and $11 for a sandwich), do I think it's worth it in terms of value? Not at all LOL. But I can't deny the quality of the food and I can't say it's a ripoff either (the chicken WAS marinated very well and very juicy).
