I always come to this Mary Brown's and I have yet to be disappointed. I've ordered so many different things, and the service is great and the food is always hot and delicious. I tried these tenders out for the first time and they were saucy and spicy and delicious. I added in the notes for them to be saucier and they were drenched!

Tasty food. Everything is seasoned well. Just thought that it could be more appealing even in take out format. If you know what I mean, it looks like McDonalds food presentation.

Drove by and saw the big excitement at this location. I walked in on their soft opening and gave this a try. Greeted by a friendly staff and many locals that also saw the excitement and wandered in. The offerings were a little light but it's a soft opening. I opted for their trade mark Big Mary with wedges and gravy. The food was promptly delivered, and the sandwich was very ok! The wedges with gravy were surprisingly good as I was never a big fries person. I will definitely be stopping by more frequently as this is definitely much more convenient than others in the area.

Fried chicken is pretty good, crispy and quite greasy. They use real chicken so you get chicken bones in the white meat and dark meat. It's a nice change to know you are eating real chicken, compared to other fried chicken establishments like kfc and popeyes. Although I would have liked more seasoning and flavor in the batter.

Ordered via MB mobile app on a recommendation from a friend. A number of us at my office hadn't tried it before and we thought we would all try it for someone's birthday. Our order was for about 6 people and it amounted to around $100. We ordered ahead of time and scheduled it to pick up by a certain time. When I arrived, there were a few people there but it really started to fill up. The original pick up time was scheduled for 12:15PM, but by the time I left it was somewhere around 12:40PM. I'm not really sure what was the point of scheduling the pick up if there's still such a long wait. Maybe next time I need to schedule it for 30 mins before I actually arrive? If there's a next time... The store was by no means close to our office (at least not with the construction going on in the city), so after journeying back we discovered one person's entire order was missing, amongst a few other items. Also one of the orders that we did get were mixed up (white meat instead of dark meat). Lastly the receipt wasn't included and the emailed receipt had information truncated so I couldn't even find any contact details that way. The website and mobile app don't have any phone numbers listed under contact us and make it quite difficult to get immediate support. Can't say it was the best 1st experience. Food: sandwich was alright, chicken was ok

Owner/Operator came by my work to promote their new restaurant opening. I applaud you for taking the initiative and going to such great effort. Welcome to the neighbourhood! The Chicken was a good size and was juicy and crispy. Service staff were professional, friendly and courteous. Definitely worth a try!

Have always wanted to try and support this Canadian based chicken joint. This is our very first time having MB. We like it a lot for a fast food takeout. Like the breading and seasoning better than Popeyes and KFC in my opinion. Will order again. Service at this location was nice. Just a little slow for fast food though.

I miss going to Mary Brown's in Streetsville, ON! Now, a new outlet has recently opened on Ellesmere Rd at Midland Ave and I couldn't drive past it today even though the grand opening is January 18, 2020. My order was a 3-piece meal for $12.49 which came with chicken, small taters, small coleslaw and a can drink ($0.85 more for bottle). Take-out please because I won't eat everything now. Terrific customer service; I was presented my take-out order at a table, told what I had order and in which of the two paper bags, given my receipt and asked to visit their website to complete a survey for 15% off my next purchase. The chicken recipe is different from KFC. Delicious! 100% Canadian-Owned too.

I would give this 3.5 stars if i could. I pass by this plaza everyday and the poster of their big Mary sandwich has always tempted me since they opened months ago. On Mondays their big Mary sandwich is 3.99 and their combo is discounted. I think for $3.99 the sandwich is a good deal. I don't think $10 for a Big Mary sandwich combo is a good deal. I would rather just get 2 sandwiches instead. Unfortunately i have been spoiled by the Popeyes chicken sandwich in the US and no other fast food chicken sandwich really tops it for me. The spicy seasoning on the Spicy Big Mary is sprinkled on top of the fried chicken after it is deep fried so the seasoning is uneven. I think operationally this process is efficient because you can turn a regular chicken sandwich spicy fairly easily but it makes for uneven patches of areas that are spicier and saltier. The quality of the chicken they use in their burger is great but my top 2 spicy fried chicken sandwich picks are still Popeyes and Wendy's. The coleslaw is good. It isn't overly creamy and drenched in sauce like Popeyes do you can still taste the veggies. If i were to pay another visit, i think i would try their fried chicken and poutine instead.

size of chicken

i would give it 3.5/4. On the menu, it seems like there's no option to buy the chicken individually instead of in a combo. you could buy the fries and sides individually though. Ended up buying 1 two-piece combo and 1 three-piece combo for $24, which seem expensive since it comes with things i don't necessarily want. I ordered both the regular and spicy chicken, size is good on both and is not dry; the spicy one had more flavour than the regular one. The potatoe wedges were thick, they could all have more seasoning, but the wedges does taste like real potatoes/homemade. The Macaroni salad was ok, nothing to write about. also got apple pie, but can't comment on it. overall, I prefer Church's Chicken. But I think the chicken is better than KFC in terms of juiciness and possibly size. price-wise, i would probably look somewhere else if you don't want the extras.

The fried chicken is a bit dry to my taste and the spicy chicken, spices is only on the skin, which ruined the whole experience of having spicy fried chicken!

The guy serving us was probably the owner because he was friendly and knowledgeable, he let me try the sauces I was questioning about. We will def b back for more!

This place is a definite must-try. The place has a few spots to eat, and the decor is beyond adorable and fitting. I couldn't get enough of the potato puns. The gentleman was incredibly nice in explaining what the top favs were and was even nice to allow me to add an ingredient, as one of my spuds had something removed (no coleslaw for me). My order consisted of Mexican Fiesta and Nashville Chick. My husband took his Mexican fiesta potato as is, but I ended up switching my pulled chicken for fried chicken. The potatoes were amazing! The base potato was so flavourful and not bland at all, evenly seasoned on its own without the toppings. The toppers were delicious and went well with the spud. It hasn't even been a week, and I'm already jonesing for my next potato bar experience.

We walked into a busy, energetic space that stays lively throughout the day, with a steady flow of customers moving through the line. The dining room is casual and functional, the kind of place where the focus stays on the food rather than the atmosphere, and the bright, cheerful decor adds to the brand's playful identity. The Chickenjoy is easily the star of the menu. We ordered a few pieces and found the chicken had a crispy, well-seasoned coating while staying juicy inside, and it was even better dipped in the savory gravy that comes on the side. The spicy version added a noticeable kick without overpowering the chicken itself, and the balance of seasoning and heat made it a satisfying choice. The Peach Mango Pie is another must-order, with its flaky crust and warm, fruity filling that makes for one of the best fast food desserts around, and we found ourselves wishing we had ordered a second one. The Jolly Spaghetti is uniquely Filipino, featuring a sweet tomato sauce with sliced hot dogs and cheese, and while it is definitely different from traditional Italian pasta, it is worth trying if you want the full Jollibee experience. Other popular choices like the palabok and burger steak round out the menu with more Filipino-inspired flavors, giving you options beyond the standard fried chicken meal. The restaurant stays busy throughout the day, so waits during peak hours are common, but the staff generally keep orders moving as quickly as possible. Service is friendly, and despite the crowds, the dining room is usually kept clean and organized. The team handles the steady flow efficiently, and the turnover is fast enough that the wait does not feel excessive. Prices have increased over the years, making it less of a bargain than it once was, but the portions are satisfying and the food is consistently fresh. Jollibee remains one of the best fast food options if you are craving fried chicken with something a little different. Between the crispy Chickenjoy, iconic Peach Mango Pie, and unique Filipino menu, it is a place that is easy to recommend whether you are a longtime fan or visiting for the first time, offering a meal that feels both familiar and distinct, and a taste of Filipino fast food culture that stands out from the usual chains.

Cost over $20, where did the inexpensive fast food prices disappear to? Counter staff were very nice and polite. Tables and seats were immaculately cleaned unlike most other fast food locations. Got the spicy chicken option which had a nice spicy kick to it. Very moist and tender with a savory crunch. They give you a small cup of brown gravy to dip the chicken into but I didn't want to mask the chicken flavor profile so I keep the gravy to bring home I believe their spaghetti is made with banana ketchup which gives it a sweetness, I liked it but others may not. To top this delicious meal off with their notorious peach mango pie which did not disappoint, the peach/mango flavor really came through All in all a great lunch, I just wish the prices were a little more affordable
