Today, I had the newest Ophthalmologist for my second time. Dr. Jazmin Logendra saw me today after making the appointment yesterday because I was having issues because of my age. She spent forty five minutes with me, had other technicians run other scans and tests on my eyes. She put all the information together and will now discuss all of it with the Senior Ophthalmologist. She feels quite sure, based on the the information what has to be done to fix my issue. She is very kind, efficient, soft spoken, makes sure that I understand everything that she is saying. She also had me take short breaks because the positions were hard to hold! I would highly recommend Dr. Logendra for all of your eye needs. She is TOPS!

The selection of frames that they have is better than any other store on the Main Line that I visited. They have your standard brands, (Ray Ban), bargain brands, high end designer brands (Gucci), minimalist brands, and some brands that are only sold in a handful of shops across the globe (seriously, Lunor, look them up!). They were so patient with me as I tried to choose my frames and even let me switch the color of my frames after I had already bought them! The fit of the lenses is also fantastic. They really make sure the prescription fits your eyes - I've never had glasses that I see better out of. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for quality glasses, great lenses, and fantastic service!

The extra exam fee was never disclosed and when I tried to advocate for myself (which I always find so awkward and uncomfortable and something I've had to actively practice throughout my life to gain courage to do) I was told I wouldn't be able to order any new contacts without paying this fee and getting an updated prescription. I felt like I was getting fear mongered and taken advantage of and it was awful. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, in fact I called several other eye doctors on the same street and got a quote for $40 for a contact lens exam. Unfortunate for me and a hard lesson learned.

I have gone to this location for over a decade.. and I used to love it. I started to develop…read moresignificant flashes in my eyesight and went in to have it checked out. The doctor told me they saw nothing and there was a chance within the next 5 weeks my retina could detach. I ended up going to wills eye mid Atlantic retina for a second opinion.. I got diagnosed with Central serous retinopathy (CSR) where fluid builds up behind the retina in the eye causing vision distortion. When I went in for my follow up at Springfield opticians the doctor got angry. She was upset I had gotten a second opinion and basically told me I only have floaters and that I should just leave since I have another appt with wills eye.. (even though she had the report from wills eye in her hand. She didn't even care to read it..) Needless to say, if you're having serious eye issues I would be cautious.

I just went back to try and correct my 3rd pair today and was told I need to bring in my old pair:/ because they dont have on file what my last years scrip was. GET IT TOGETHER!
