There was a nice variety of donuts to choose from--plenty of different styles and flavors, so it was easy to try a few different things. The donuts themselves were good overall, though they didn't taste like the absolute freshest batch of the morning. Still enjoyable, just not that super-soft just-made texture. One really nice touch was that they threw in some free donut holes with the order, which was a pleasant surprise. Small gestures like that make places like this feel extra welcoming. They also offer a small discount if you pay with cash, which is another classic mom-and-pop move. Overall, it's a solid neighborhood donut shop with good variety and friendly service. Not the most mind-blowing donuts I've ever had, but definitely a nice local stop if you're in the area.

We happily purchased one right away, but wondered how fresh they could be if they had it on demand. Yup, most of the cakes were super dry and hard. The chocolate cakes also didn't have that deep chocolate flavor. Admittedly, we do not like buttercream and wedding cakes usually are limited to that as well as fondant. Every option here is buttercream based so we weren't huge fans, but leaned toward more the tropical flavors: mango, passionfruit, lemon. The mocha, hazelnut and caramel were pretty tasty too.
