Had dinner here to celebrate my friend's birthday. Their menu doesn't indicate any GF items so had to ask the server. He seemed fairly knowledgeable about celiac/GF. We shared a cheese tray which was delicious. I opted for sides - mashed potatoes and asparagus with burgundy sauce as my entree. I did order a key lime martini but the rim had what looked to be graham cracker on it. The server replaced it without anything on the rim just to be sure. I also had a key lime crème brûlée for dessert. The server bought out something special for the birthday girl too. Everything was pretty good - we sat outside which was beautiful out but there were some insects that we saw on the patio floor.

Forgot the name, but a lavender gin martini

We enjoyed our Christmas Day dinner here at Martin's in Key West! The restaurant has a nice vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. For dinner, I had one of their specials, Lobster risotto. It was good! Creamy, well seasoned, and with a surprisingly healthy amount of lobster in it. My only critique of it is that the lobster was a little chewy. My family had the yellowtail Capri and chicken breast. The yellowtail had a nice sauce on it that was very tasty. I didn't try any of the chicken breast but my family member reported that it lacked a little flavor in the entire dish. Our martini's were very well made and balanced. My favorite was the lavender gin martini that I had. The service was friendly, albeit a little slow. But, it was Christmas so I'm sure they had been busy all night.

Schnitzel Strips

I've come here a few times and it's a solid place to eat downtown! I've come for happy hour and regular dinner time and have enjoyed the food each time. The drinks I feel are poured strong, so that's nice too! My favorite thing to order is the schnitzel strips. They're lightly fried and cooked to perfection. I ordered the Caesar salad last time I went and didn't love it. Not a lot of dressing and the tomatoes threw me off (wasn't expecting that in a Caesar). I've never sat inside, always outside but it's nice, there's a cover so it's not like the sun is hitting you directly.

I added a few more lamb chop! Don't judge !

This is my second time here in a week. Key West! The staff is exceptional! The bartenders know their craft, and are easy on the eyes. A deadly combination for customer service and a wine list. The location is prime on Duval, and the weather is perfect! With a garden setting, low lighting and kitchen with an experienced chef, what else can you ask for on vacation. Sarah & Vivian make this place glow! It's the place to unwind and relax after a long day of sunshine and day drinking Solo or with a partner. I had the grilled lamb chops, and indulge in the Lamb Osso Bucco with a Burgundy Wine Sauce. I had to closing the night off with a few drinks to say the least. -For dessert I'm ending it with a signature Key Lime Crème Brûlée.

Caprese Salad

Delightful place to dine. We are at the bar where Sarah served us. She has such a beautiful smile. We shared a caprese salad, grouper entree and asparagus. Delicious. Gentle lighting, friendly staff, spacious n neat. Enjoyed our adult beverages, conversation and relaxing atmosphere. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Doughy stuffed with dough strudel.

The service was good as was the location. But the food was not. The Jaeger Schnitzel was bland and tasted like it was fried it old grease. The sauce was like warm at best. The poke didn't seem fresh. The apple strudel was all dough and no apples. It was like dough stuffed with stuffing. Luckily the offered to take it off the bill. Check out the photo. Do not recommend. Even what was fine was just fine.

What they called a Chocolate Truffle Torte

So this will be a mixed review. We chose the restaurant because they advertised Beef Wellington on the front door. My husband loves beef Wellington. So made a reservation. Our server was a nice young man with an accent. Our server told us about the specials. One being Beef Wellington. He said it was cooked rare to mid rare. When we ordered husband asked to have it cooked more med to med well. Server said it couldn't be done. It would burn the puff pastry. I know it can be done without burning the pastry because that's how I make it at home. So husband was put off. He ordered a 7oz Filet med well with Rosemary Potatoes. I got the Yellowtail Snapper Special with a Crab Cake and Asparagus. We both got Caesar Salad. I really liked the Yellowtail and crab cake. The Asparagus was well cooked ( not over cooked ). Husband's Filet was very well done which I thought tasted great but he was disappointed. The rosemary potatoes we both agreed had way too much rosemary. On Yelp I saw a Chocolate Torte listed on a menu. When he told us the dessert he didn't mention the tort. So I asked. He said oh yes we do have that, and asked if that's what we really wanted. When the "Tort" came out it was chocolate ganache on a plate in the shape of a heart. The plate was dusted with icing sugar and raspberry sauce and half a strawberry. This was $9.50 and this was not a tort. The service was super casual ( slow drawn out ). The bill did not reflect what we thought was the taste and quality of the meal. With Tip and I did still generously was close to $200. We have had some fabulous fantastic meals before that were worthy of the price point... this was not.

Love love love this place. I wear this was the best spaghetti I have had since I was a kid. I could not stop talking about. Service was great and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely eat there again when I go back.

Been coming to this establishment for years and waited in line for the happy hour which we've done for years. A pack of 12 people were in front of us and as a party of three 1) we were embarrassed and had to call out we were not with them and 2) a bald "gentleman" and a woman with long hair called out (loudly) sorry we cannot let someone in with a tank top. My spouse and I have been there before AND the party of 12 had women in similar "less dress". Disappointed where this place has slipped, won't be coming back and be sure to let others also know this is how you treat people. Love your food, how you treat people... not so much. If this is truly your policy, you should make sure it is clear on your website as when we checked as of 26 November 2024 was not the case. Wish I could give you negative stars since we made a special effort to come see you.

The lamb chop appetizer is one of the best we've ever had in the nation. Service was excellent, high-quality food.

From the moment we entered the restaurant to the long after time of our departure, she continuously greeted us with excitement, joined us in conversation, and even helped us capture moments in pictures. She really helped make this a memorable experience for us. Now to the food. So I have had Broils in multiple areas of the country. From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

So disappointing, I seen that this place had good reviews…read moreso family and I decided to try this place. Plus seaside has to be good and fresh. Well we're a big group we did get seating fairly fast beside them having to out tables together they weren't busy at all. Once we got seating we wait for a good 10 mins or so for menus we had to eventually grab our selves. A couple walked in few minutes after us and got their menu as they sat down Now the boil. The spice they had for the boil had a sweet taste might have been the premade seafood boil seasoning. Thats what it tasted like to me .Wasn't to my liking. Something was eh about it. The fried oysters had a but if a fishy taste no go. I know a lot of places weights the seafood but the portions when they came out it was more like they added more corn and potatoes. For the price definitely wasn't worth it.

A must visit in key west!…read more Reservations for outside I have heard sell out weeks in advance. We were able to get a reservation inside. I was a little bummed we didn't get to see the view, but the ambiance inside is lovely too. Their menus light up which was so helpful in a dark restaurant. Our server was super helpful and made some great recommendations. We tried a few different small plates to share and enjoyed a few cocktails. Absolutely love the desserts here. The bread pudding and key lime pie were to die for! Price wise this was a bit expensive but we paid comparable for less nice places in key west so I would say this is 100% worth a stop.

This was our first time in Key West, and we made a reservation here to celebrate my wife's birthday…read morewith a group of six. It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated with a lovely view of the waterfront. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and we were happy we chose this restaurant. Food: I always enjoy when a restaurant offers a creative and inventive cocktail menu. I won't go into detail on each one, but they were all very good, especially the Spiced Old Fashioned. At our server's suggestion, we ordered a couple of plates of the Grilled Ciabatta Bread. The bread was nicely grilled, and the roasted garlic manchego butter made it especially delicious. I normally try not to fill up on bread, but this was absolutely worth it. We ordered an eclectic mix of small and large plates. Some of the standout dishes included the Lobster Mac and Cheese, Swordfish, and Crab Cake. The Brussels sprouts took top honors, perfectly roasted without being greasy, full of flavor, and complemented by a generous amount of bacon. The one disappointment was the Pork Shank Osso Buco. While it was tender, it was only warm and a bit underseasoned. It was good, but not great, especially for someone who enjoys pork shank dishes. We saved room for dessert, and they were all crowd pleasers. My personal favorite was the Cuban Bread Pudding. The Chocolate Pistachio Crème Brûlée was also unique and delicious. Service: We had reservations for 7:30 and were seated promptly. The hostess and our server did a great job of making us feel welcome. The entire two-hour meal was well paced, and we always felt attended to. I was especially impressed with the backlit menu portfolios. They made it easy to read in the evening without guests needing to use their phone flashlights, which was a thoughtful and effective use of technology. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they placed a sign on the table acknowledging the occasion, which was a nice touch. It would have been even better if one of the desserts had included a lit candle. Atmosphere: The setting is beautiful. We were seated in a smaller dining room with several other tables. When we first arrived, there was a larger, very boisterous group nearby, and it made it difficult to hear our server. Fortunately, they left about 30 minutes into our meal, and the atmosphere became much more relaxed and enjoyable. Our waterfront view added to the experience. This was a very special evening. It was also the most expensive meal we had in Key West, so it was reasonable to have high expectations. With a few improvements, it could have been a five-star experience. Definitely a place we would return to.
