Fantastic company. This was a small job but it entailed a risky approach to simply installing a cover plate above a very high ceiling above a stair. Mission accomplished. This required very long screws that were not painted and this was handled as well. The second task was to repair/replace and existing fan, again in a peaked ceiling of about 14'. Initial job was to test whether power was reaching the fan. It was not. Net step was checking the switches and it was not. On to checking the switch which turned out to be faulty. Upon replacement, fan actually worked. I was very impressed that one of the owners and a helper showed up on time (acutally a bit early). Job required both a 24 foot ladder and a 16 foot ladder. Price was exceptionally reasonable (less that cost of new 400 fan I was able to return via Amazon. These folks are the true deal with service, great attitude and bi-lingual. Do not hesitate to hire these folks. Angel and his team are exceptional, quality human beings. read more

Martinez Power Electric - Ceiling fan and plate above stairs. Did not feel like risking it nor did I have 24' ladder:) Worth every dime. - Electricians Near Me

I had a random outage in the front of the house which was a total pain in the ass. After several hours of trouble shooting, they fixed my issues and have the house back up and running. I was impressed from the time they showed up until the time they departed. Friendly, professional, clean and concise. Great value for the money and I am happy to say I have found a new company for all things electric. I strongly suggest you look to Martinez for anything that you might need done at your place of business or your residence. I would give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you!! read more

Angel and his team are great! Earlier this year they came to check the electrical setup for my treadmill. From the moment they arrived, they were professional and provided multiple solutions should I need to get any work done. Recently, I needed electrical work done to run a generator. Their team was prompt, efficient, and thorough. They took care of everything seamlessly, ensuring that the setup was safe and functional. They were in and out in a few hours. Cleaned up any mess and left everything as they found it. They never recommend unnecessary work, focusing only on what's essential for your needs. With fair pricing, their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction is truly exceptional. read more

My 2 AC units were using one singular connection to the breaker box. The associated circuit breakers were pretty much burned and my house was at risk of catching on fire. Thanks to Martinez Power Electric, they identified the burned circuit breaker and created a connection for each AC unit. They also fixed the wiring going to my doorbell. Overall great job. read more

Angel and his crew saved us when our power went out, generator came on, power came back on, but only to half the house. Centerpoint came out and told us it was our responsibility to replace the electrical line. Had no clue it was our responsibility, so if you own a home just an FYI you own the electrical line. Martinez Power came out and got our power back on in 2 days!! They dug a trench 4 feet deep and put a new line inside conduit. Only one night with the generator on!! Angel dealt with the City of Houston inspectors and was very professional. They cleaned up each day they worked, which these days is impressive. I have no idea how much this was supposed to cost because none of my friends have had to do this repair. However, I felt the price was reasonable considering how much work they did. I highly recommend them, they are licensed electricians and can get the job done. Thanks Yelp for sending them my way when I was desperately looking for a licensed electrician!! read more

Had some electrical work done that I couldn't quite figure out myself so reached out to get it done professionally. Angel arrived early and was able to figure out the wiring without putting extra holes in the walls and ceiling (a couple other contractors said it would need to be done). Process was fast and efficient and pricing was great. Will use Martinez Power Electric moving forward. read more

We had a home power surge that blew out a lot of appliances and damaged our breaker box. After checking around for an electrician they were the only ones with a reasonable quote. Martinez power was very quick responding to our request for quote and very professional in doing the job. We had additional jobs that was reasonably priced and professionally done. I chose them after I checked ratings and comments on other electricians and after reading comments and checking out their ratings I will say everything checked out. Great response time and on time arrival to install both a hallway sconce plus a fantastic hallway fixture. They were positive and upbeat and I love that about electricians. One other thing...our dryer plug (240v) was installed incorrectly by the people who built this house. This was a stupid mistake by the original electricians...they swapped the positive with the negative and forgot to tighten the neutral wire. WTF? as that could have been a fire issue. I cannot remember the tech but he immediately knew what it was, checked the breaker at the box in addition and rectified the situation. This was after I blamed the dryer and the vent first without confirming the electrical issue. I will only use these guys from now on. Great company to work with. read more

Martinez Electric were quick to respond. Diagnosed and solved the problem and were very professional.

I got to know Angel and his team (Asid) through my real estate fellow agents about 1.5 years ago. I only heard great things about them which is why I keep hiring them for my clients and myself. The price is quite reasonable. Every time when I asked for a quote, they would do it in person. I just had them update the lightings at my condo and they did a great job from the day Asid spent an hour with me going over my needs zero hassle no intimidation or threatening me to hire them). They are never pushy or upsell me anything I don't need. I feel very comfortable working with them because they are very honest/direct/great listeners/punctual/polite/very professional (they actually took time to do the work instead of rushing everything). All their work come with 1 year warranty. Plus they accept credit card for payment which I love (not a cash/Zelle/Check person). Please contact them first for a quote if you need any electrical help! Highly recommended! read more

We had problems with canned lights on the front porch for years. Multiple companies were called out to diagnose the problem, but none of them could find or correct the problem. I called Martinez Power Electric to see if they could fix the problem. Angel came out the next day and arrived on time. Within a few minutes he diagnosed the problem that none of the other companies could figure out, clearly explained what the problem was, and provided some options for the repair. We were extremely pleased with the service and the price. Angel was very professional and friendly. Next time I need any electrical work, I will definitely call Martinez Power Electric. read more

We had a big project that needed to get done quickly and without paying an arm and a leg. Mr. Martinez quickly responded, within 24/hrs came out to look at the project and then gave us a quote within a few days. While walking through the entire rewire of our 1915 house, I kept trying to go the cheap route by only adding what I thought I needed but he explained how we should do everything at once, he was right! Got the whole house done in 6 days despite having to bust through several layers of wall/ ship lap. The workers were very respectful and made the entire process less stressful. They always gave me options of what they thought would be the better choice (where to put plugs/ switches) things I never thought about. Despite being one of the CHEAPEST BY THOUSANDS.... it's one of the most pleasant renovations I've been through. read more

I hired the company to replace wall-mounted lights outside the garage. They were very professional, did a good job despite some minor challenges, and the cost was reasonable ($200 for work of 2 hours).
