I highly recommend Gilberto and his partner Jim, as well as recommended them to 3 of my neighbors. I bought the materials - a new electru box and the 3 dimmers, I contacted Gilberto and he was able to stop by the same day and upgrade my switches.. Took them half the time (45 mins) that I was quoted by my previous electrician. (2.5 hours) . And they gave me a reasonable price for the work. They were such a pleasure to work with and will call them back for other work. I would trust them with my house. PS HE IS ALSO A MASTER ELECTRICIAN- he was able to give me tips and advice that I needed on other work that my other electrician wasn't sure about. I wish I found them sooner, read more

Gilbert did a fantastic job completing four projects at my condo. Cruz Electric quoted and installed our Generator, all within 1-week, while other providers in the area talked of 4-6-8 weeks. The team selected by Adam to install was excellent. So proficient, that our neighbors came over and requested quotes. Since then, with Beryl, our Generator has performed flawlessly while some neighbors are down & out. Highly recommend!!! read more

I hired Gilberto Cruz of CRUZ ELECTRIC to install a new ceiling fan. We agreed on a date and time which he showed up promptly for. He and his partner, Jim, came dressed professionally and I had no problem welcoming each of them into my home. Gilberto explained up front what he will be accomplishing and went right to it. They hit a couple of hurdles with missing hardware from the original packaging. Thankful Gilberto and Jim were resourceful and found substitute screws and hardware so it could all be connected and completed in this one trip. I can't express my gratitude enough. I HIGHLY recommend Cruz Electric as his team are professional, resourceful, and all around great people that you can trust to get the job done. read more

I highly recommend Cruz Electric! They are professional and very reasonably priced. They quickly responded to my quote request to reconnect a disconnected grounding wire. They provided excellent service for a great price. All other electricians tried to take advantage of me and provide a huge over quote for the same out of work. Such proffesionalism! Cruz arrived early for our appointment then knew exactly what problems we were having and solved it all very quickly! He made sure everything was working properly before departing. I am a caregiver for my 85yr old mother and sister who is wheelchair bound so having our electrical outlets repaired was a major priority. We feel lucky that we chose his services and will choose him again in the future. Believe me... you won't be disappointed! read more

Horrible company!! Total scam artist! We hired him to complete a renovation project. He insisted on getting half the money upfront and then he knew he bought the wrong permit for the project. He only did half the work and then demanded $800 more per day! And he said he would abandon the project if I don't give him that extra money. We had an inspector come out and pointed out several things he did wrong. We've lost thousands of dollars and he's holding up our entire project! Now I'm forced to spend double on another electrician to fix his mistakes and finish the project up to code. We've filed a complaint with the TDLR The enforcement division for licensed contractors. And we will also file a civil lawsuit Against Cruz electric company. read more

I would recommend Cruz Electric to my friends and family. They were early, professionally and very friendly. They were awesome. I highly recommend them, installed 3 ceiling fans with their own switch each. Price was really reasonable

I am very picky, and I saw a lot of contractors for quotes ahead of my electrical project (installing new wiring to an outbuilding). I chose Gilberto because his quote was very competitive, and he seemed knowledgeable, but then he and his guys were prompt, polite, and professional, and they did great work with focus and efficiency. Honestly, the man of the house even hired them subsequently for an additional project! So far, we're simply impressed and grateful. I even baked them cookies while they were on the job, and they deserved it! If you need electrical service, please consider Gilberto. I'm going to recommend him to everyone. read more

Mr.Cruz answered my request right away for an estimate on a job, he and his partner showed up on time. Even contacted early to see if I was available. He did the job quickly and right. On a spur of the moment, I asked if he could handle some other things on another property, and he was available same day. We met at the other property and he proceeded to handle the long list of things that were needed (replacing several outlets, correcting wiring, switches, and light fixtures). He even addressed some safety issues that we needed done. He explained everything he was doing along the way. He is a very patient and personable individual, does good work, on time, and at a reasonable cost. His partner Fernando was also quick and very nice as well. He also accepts payments electronically, which is great. I will be using his services on some other projects that we have coming up. read more
