Four things that everyone needs are a good doctor, a good mechanic, a goods plumber, and a good electrician. Gilber at GEO Electrical Services is an excellent electrician. He changed out ballasts for our kitchen lighting, fixed a switch and tested everything. He charged what he promised and showed up when he promised. After reading the many positive reviews and seeing photos of Tesla EV charger installations from previous customers, I decided to request a quote from Geo Electrical Services. Gilber responded almost immediately and provided a very reasonable quote compared to several other companies I contacted. Based on the reviews, it was clear that he had extensive experience installing Tesla EV chargers, so I felt confident moving forward with him. Throughout the entire process, he communicated clearly, arrived exactly on time, and was professional and friendly. He did an outstanding job installing my Tesla Universal Wall Connector. The installation looks clean and professional, and he even cleaned up the work area before leaving. I highly recommend Geo Electrical Services to anyone looking for electrical work. I'm a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas. I hired Gilbert because I suffer from vertigo attacks and could not climb the ladder at roof level. I hired him to install Govee permanent lights for the holidays. I contacted him early in November. The first bell rang when I was told he wouldn't be available till after Thanksgiving. But Geo Electrical had good reviews, so I had no reason not to trust them. I waited. In early December Geo finally came to install the lights. I provided the lights, the splitters and over 50' of extensions with compatible connectors. I also provided detailed diagrams on how and where to install the lights, so that no splicing would be necessary. (You are not supposed to cut and splice these lights). Geo disregarded my directions and cut and spliced the lights. Well, he's an electrician, I thought, he probably had done it before. I had to come outside and supervise him most of the time to make sure he does what he is supposed to. He charged $400.00 for the job. That night I noticed that the end string of lights that runs over my garage flickered intensely, whereas other lights were steady. See videos. I contacted Geo and was told he's booked all week and the next and then out of town till New Year. He did everything possible to get out of it. He told me to buy an amplifier (did not work). He told me it's not an electrical problem, but the length of the lights wiring is over 100' (which is nonsense, my set is only 100' and one string was left unused. 25' of extensions also left unused and controller supports 150 feet.) Then finally he conceded that it might be his connections in drop (see photo) that were loose and agreed to stop by and check those.. Next Year. So Next Year came and guess what? He is booked till January 26th. And then he told me that I'd have to pay extra money to fix it! When I said no, he wished me good luck! Just an unscrupulous guy who does not stand behind his work and evidently does not care about his reputation. Good Luck! read more

I chose Gilber to do my electrical work after reading all the great reviews on Geo Electrical Services. He performed two jobs for me: portable generator installation and soft start installation for A/C. Before he came to do the generator installation, he communicated with me on everything I needed from my end for the portable generator so I'll be ready if we lose power during hurricane season. I tested the portable generator while he was there and we had power. He was very responsive from the beginning, very professional, and I couldn't be happier. Below are pictures of the A/C amps before and after for soft start. read more

I should have called Geo Electrical Services to install a 50 amp breaker in my circuit breaker box to begin with so I could run my generator. I used a neighbors son and once they hooked it up I realized they installed the wrong interlock. I called the "companies" owner and he said he would have the correct one within a few days. That was seven weeks ago! I called Geo up and he was out here and installed the CORRECT one.I can see why his reviews are five stars. read more

I needed to have a Tesla Wall Connector installed in my garage, so I contacted at least 10 four to five Star rated electricians for quotes via Yelp. Geo's quote was on the lower end, so I decided to go with him. He had very positive reviews and he was extremely responsive to my messages, which I value. He completed the job in a timely and professional manner. I'm very pleased with the work and I'm very happy with the quality of the work as well. He was the first to contact me, be attentive to respond, and provide me a quote. 2. He was able to work with my schedule. 3. He provided an exceptional service with minimal dust, and cleanup. He also didn't do extensive holes like other electricians said needed to be done 4. He left the house spotless. Not many reviews but there's a good reason they're all 5 stars. Overall great work and would work with Gilber again. He was responsive and offered a competitive quote for installing 4 ceiling light fixtures. Scheduled an appointment, he was on time, and completed the work very meticulously. Not everything was perfect since it took longer than he projected, even had to drop by Home Depot for parts, and there ended up being some extra costs. Part of it is the nature of the work, but I would work out the details next time to expedite the process. Nevertheless I would gladly work with him again. Very friendly and knowledgeable, and he was patient with all my questions. Thanks Gilber, I'm very happy with the results. read more
