They assessed my old breaker box and replaced it with an upgrade along with the interlock for a very affordable and fair price. It was thousands less than other options and it works like a charm! The electricians were very professional and knowledgeable of the work which they did and they explained everything done and the purpose. Not sure how these reviewers gave him high ratings. There was someone in our community that recommended him to install generator inlets for only 450.00. I called him and he did quote me for it. Everything sounded good until he makes you purchase all the equipment and then never returns your call or text to confirm a date of service. I read some replies posts on my community fb page and others complained about the same thing too with Albert. He doesn't return text and phone calls only when he feels like it. He made me purchase all the equipment and I'm sitting here waiting for him to just confirm a date. Called many times and text he doesn't return again the next couple of days. If he were to come out and do the job and if something goes wrong with his work I doubt he will even come out to fix it. I wouldn't recommend this guy seem very sketchy and unprofessional. Not sure how he was able to get good reviews from others but I feel I didn't say or do anything to him besides listening to what he told me to buy and then he just went offline afterwards. read more

Finishing up the kitchen from the February Freeze a year or so ago, we called in another electrician to fix a couple of issues that cropped up - two switched that stopped working. They looked at the old box, and told us everything needed to be updated, gave us a couple of option $5200 or $6800. I called Backup Electric. The Backup Electric electrician came out, and I repeated the history. He made a call to the owner who asked if the light switch worked before the cabinets went in. Turns out it is a common problem since the screws for the cabinets are long. So for fixing this, and swapping out 220 circuit breaker for a 110 circuit breaker, I paid $240. read more

I had can lights installed on the front and sides of my home. The brightness and hue of the lights matched perfectly with my existing porch lights and ground landscaping lights. The lights are programmable to turn on automatically through a switch installed in my garage. The lighting looks very beautiful; not too bright and gives a good accent to the stone exterior of my home, as well as provide extra security, especially on the sides of the house. I am very impressed with their customer service and installation. They even came out the next day after the installation to adjust the intensity of the lights, since I wanted the lights set on the warmest/ dimmest setting. He sent out on of his electricians, Luis, to install my ceiling fan. Unfortunately, Luis got sick the day he was suppose to come out, but Alberto was communicative and gave me multiple options. When he came out the next day, Alberto was on the phone with Luis throughout the installation to ensure smooth installation. When a problem did arise, Alberto again gave me multiple options. It is SO hard to find an electrician who can actually take things apart and fix them - FOUND ONE! I did not want an electrician to just walk in and say - " just buy a new ceiling fan, etc.". I had a list of all minor electrical issues - prioritized! I was using my 1,000 kW vacuum sealer in the garage and it tripped my circuit breakers. Albert was able to come the next day, a Sunday morning, and diagnose the problem. It was a simple resetting of the breaker, but I wanted a dedicated 20 amp breaker and outlet for the machine. He was able to work with the drywall and finish the job very cleanly and quickly. It took about an hour and was $140, including supplies, for the last minute job. He was super nice and friendly to boot. Highly recommended! read more
