Martha's is a lot of fun! In the summer we like to sit outside for happy hour, bogo drinks for a penny! Friday and Saturday night they have a DJ and a dance floor, hit or miss depending on the night. I am visiting Nashua for a few days and walked by the restaurant while looking for a place to eat lunch. The hostess was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I ordered the chili. It was just okay. It tasted like tomato juice was used as the base. I would have liked some more spice. There was lots of cheese on top but very few pieces of meat or beans. I would try the restaurant again but not try the chili again. read more

The wait staff is too busy chatting about Taylor Swift behind the curtain then to acknowledge their tables needing water, because the jambalaya is spicier than the Brazilian stripper at tens. Great place for dinner in Nashua! Found this place by chance as most places were packed on a Friday night. Great service! everyone was friendly and quick. We were seated quickly without having to wait for long. Got pumpkin-Tini which was very good and the Irish maid which felt pretty watered down. Got the grilled lamb salad which was really very good and highly recommend although also had the jambalaya which was not so good. There was an inappropriate amount of spice and was not done very well in terms of the whole dish itself. Overall, we had a good time and do recommend coming here if in Nashua. Prices are slightly on the higher side, paid about 60-70$ with tip for the above food. 3.5 to 4 stars. read more

This place is incredible! I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a child. I will always be mesmerized by the candy counter, and as I entered adulthood, very impressed with their beer. I recently visited and had a phenomenal experience. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and a vegetable pizza. Both were delectable. The staff was polite and attentive. Bathrooms were immaculate. Came here upon the recommendation of another guest I ran into at the front desk of the Courtyard Nashua. He recommended this place for their locally made Craft Brews. Came in one evening around 8:45 pm or so - ordered their beer sampler and a plate of their Nachos. The beers/Ales were excellent! Out of the sampler, my favorites were the Smokin' Blonde, the Extra Special Simcoe, the Biscuit City Pale Ale, and the MacLeod's Scotch Ale. The Nachos were plentiful and pretty good. A word of warning - at some point in the evening - this place goes from a somewhat reasonable noise level to really loud when they convert part of the restaurant into a dance floor and start cranking dance tunes. I could not finish my Ale fast enough and get out the door! I'd definitely come back here again for their Ales. read more

I've been twice now - the first time was sublime and the second time merely ok. I think the difference between my two experiences was in the simplicity of the food I ordered. The first and sublime time I had the simpler and more traditional French onion soup and a simple scallop dish - both excellent. The second time I had steamed mussels that didn't quite succeed at the A level and Martha's own concoction called Blackjack salmon which took a wealth of delicious sea food and covered it in a confusing mess of distracting flavors. It was literally the worst service we've ever had in our life no one even saw us there's four Tables after us and they got served for us

Sat our party near the restroom when there's plenty of other tables available.. got forgotten about. Had a fly buzzing around our table, had no refills on our drinks the food was mediocre at best, I asked for a buffalo chicken wrap and it looked like someone cut the middle out and served both the ends two bites each... Beer was great, salad was good. Baked haddock awful. not cooked, even broccoli soggy with some kind of greasy sauce on it. They didn't bring the salad first so by time I got to eat the food it was cold. Get the haddock with lobster!!!! It is served in a casserole it is absolutely excellent. It is delicious! Do not get the nachos they were not very good. The street tacos were quite tasty! The place was clean they used proper social distancing measures our waitress was wonderful and friendly and very good... couldn't do enough for us! I had a martini and I thought it was very well made and to finish off the meal one of us got the turtle cheesecake the other got the chocolate cake. They were both very very good. I had to track her down to put a food order in (using an online menu on our phone as we never received a menu). Waited 60 mins for the entree without another staff member asking if we needed a refill on the drinks. We declined the entree order as we couldn't wait any longer. Pretzels were warm and soft, French onion soup was the best I have EVER had, and I love soup! Sadly, we will not be going back to Martha's. The outdoor seating (before it was even a covid thing) was always a great draw and their beer is awesome! But the good stops there. We have taken breaks from eating here due to sub par service but we gave it another shot. I was sorry we did. We tried to order cocktails and the waitress apologized about 4 times that the bar was busy-it took over 20 minutes to get a martini. Our app came before our drinks and then we were informed they didn't have the ingredients for one of the drinks. Okay, fine. Then our meals come out. 3 of us ordered salads which came out with no dressing. Dry salad. Nothing even on the side, just no dressing. Our plates from the wing app were still cluttering the table when the waitress finally came over and we had to request salad dressing for our meal. It never recovered from there. No refills on water or even second drinks to be ordered. I don't know what the heck was going on but it was just not an experience worth the cost to eat out. I would say maybe they were just short staffed but it was pretty empty in there. Plus, I would rather they just told us they couldn't seat us if they were not staffed properly to serve us. If you just want a beer it's probably fine-but I would sit at the bar for faster service. We won't be dining here again. read more

3.5/5 I love a good brewery/brewpub, so I was excited to try out Martha's. There was a great selection of beers, and I ended up getting the Amber, which was delicious. For dinner, I had the fish and chips. The batter on the fish was a little too heavy for me, but I liked that the portion size wasn't too big. The tartar sauce was also a little bland. The best part of our meal by far was the dessert. We had the chocolate peanut butter pie and it was amazing. My wife and I split a piece, but after taking one bite, we considered ordering a second. In terms of service, our waitress was a little too attentive, but often missed what we needed somehow. She didn't seem to notice if water glasses were empty and brought us boxes before we were close to done eating. She was very nice, but missed the mark a little bit. read more

always an adventure when going to martha's! if it's not a bartender talking about how covid is propaganda and "let's go brandon" then it's a free show to tense exchanges between waitstaff! the last visit was definitely the most worth mentioning, though- our waiter (who was very kind and was trying his absolute best, by the way!) was having kind of a rough night with a couple of order hiccups and slower service than maybe a more experienced waiter would have. this didn't bother us BUT the comments/attitude made by fellow waitstaff regarding his service was 1000% uncalled for. everyone makes mistakes and they're never worth berating a coworker in front of customers. if you feel as though someone isn't ready to wait on a 5 top by themselves yet, have them shadow you or give proactive advice (name calling is not proactive advice.) ANYWAYS- with all that being said, the food is always great. i've gotten a good mix of steak tips, mac n cheese, and seasonal specials and they've all been genuinely yummy. not sure if we'll be returning (maybe if we wanna feel like we're on a "what would you do?" episode!) read more
