Today, I went to multiple TJMaxx's, Marshall's, HomeGoods, & HomeSense to look for Halloween Hello Kitties! WOW! So this store location was stocked up with all the goodies today... pleasantly surprised! Their skincare section has LOVELY, stocked with many K-beauty brands (CosRx, haruharu, anua , innisfree, beauty of joseon, laneige) AND the hello kitties I was looking for. Earlier today, I had found a frankenstein kitty (only one left) and I was in shock when I saw that they had 4 frankenstein kitties here! ALSO, I FOUND THANKSGIVING TURKEY HELLO KITTY HERE! I left here, a very happy gal. This was my 5th hello kitty today and I am glad I found it ;) read more

Never had a problem here. It's a Marshall's. Has ample parking outside, a lot of women's clothing and men's toward the right side of the store. Sneaker selection is pretty small and brands are limited compared to some other similar competitor stores. This location is usually organized and pretty clean. Bathrooms are to the back right of the store all the way in the back by the kids toys section. The clothing is organized by sizing racks and by type. I.e. tee shirt aisles, dress shirt aisle, suits / sport coats, shorts, jeans, athletic wear. They also have furniture, home goods, some luggage, crafts, and toys / bags/ backpacks, some beauty care and the cheap end cap charging packs cables phone cases and random tid bits and snacks. read more

Okay let's get into it ! I love to shop - lol it's the model in me what can I say!! But I love Marshall's . I visited the Quincy location and there are so many great fits you can pull ! Adequate parking as it is located in the plaza. There is a Petco , whole food and various other stores . This marshalls is actually going under construction if not already they are rebuilding but it is still open. The value and options are there just take your time and look! Definitely go check it out and post your cute outfits !! For the value it is worth it . The dress I included in the videos looks so fancy and for it to be under $40 .00 come on!! Service is great if you have any questions anyone is willing to help ! read more

This place has been jam packed lately. Service is always decent and the long lines aren't too bad- the cashiers are pretty quick. Today I saw a pretty dress that had a stain . I asked the cashier what the policy was for receiving a discount on stained items. She said " usually " a discount is given, but she had to double check with the manager. Olivia, the manager would not give a discount, but said that "if I cannot remove the stain, a total refund would be given". First, you shouldn't sell dirty dresses. 2nd- if I return a dirty dress, of course I'd get a refund. What am I gaining here, besides annoyance? I didn't feel like playing games after waiting in that line. Bought the cute, nasty dress. So mad! Sort of. read more

Went early this am to buy new work pants. The big woman that opened the front door to the store roared at the customers to get back(people were standing maybe 10 feet away from the doors at the time), explaining in a heated tone to no-one in particular that she didn't know whether the doors would open outwards or inwards--comical because I'm sure this wasn't her first time opening the doors. Seconds later she loudly and aggressively told the people to calm down as they were entering the store. I've rarely seen this kind of aggression/attitude at a business based on customer service. She would be better served working in demolition or perhaps professional wrestling. After entering the store I realized that you would find a much better selection at a flea market. Wish I had that 5 minutes back, def never coming back. read more

On of my fave Marshalls! It is well organized and great selections to match! Unlike some other locations you will definitely find what you are looking for here! I highly recommend coming here to shop! read more

Lacoste shirts marked up to 90, and down to 60. T shirts marked up to 35 and down to 15. Give me a break. Polo jerseys marked up, then down to 35. So? Where's the discount? It is my go-to store for sports-logo clothing though. Not cheap anymore. Unless cotton/poly or cotton/plastic is what you're looking for, you'll pay up. The "irregulars" are more defective than irregular. I bring back a lot. I did get a 10 buck electric (plug in to the car's outlet)auto-tire pump. That's a pretty fair deal. It works, albeit slowly. But it will not work on pump-up sporting equipment (balls) because their attachment is defective. It's convenient for me, but I will seek lower prices at other stores. Two words: caveat emptor! read more

Staff at this store were so welcoming and helpful! I was in disbelief since you go to other stores they don't even look at you! Every employee who walked by me said hello and can we help you!! Amazing staff, made my day!! read more

OK I am giving five stars for this store because of one of your employee her name is Ariana she was amazing patient and very courteous. No words would do enough to describe her kidness!!! Especially i went with my sister and her daughter at the same time so we told her we will have three different transactions and she was very welcoming and willing to help us all!!! Because I have agents before that gave us attitude when we say oh we have two or three different transactions so she was fun and make us felt valued. We tried to look for her manager to tell them how good she was to us but we couldn't find her or him. Sales associate like Ariana who makes us always like to go to the same place. Marshall's in quincy won loyal customers because of Ariana. read more

This location used to be a pleasant, find new, exciting items for the home...but definitely loses luster at the register line. Even as the cashiers are polished with helpfulness & attentiveness the line is a real killer. The day we went not all registers were open & there were shoppers who couldn't speak English unprepared (cards that weren't officially opened to use) which caused strife for the worked cashiers. Where was management? It is harsh during noon weekday periods, but this squarely on management. It really takes away from the whole experience. read more

What happened to this Marshalls?? This Marshalls used to be clean and organized, and now it's an absolute disaster. I understand I made my most recent trip during their clearance time, but honestly, all the cosmetics were opened and smudged everywhere, every single aisle was a mess, the clothes were not organized and there were all different sizes just thrown together. Even home decor that is supposed to be a little messy and random just looked awful. So many damaged items, things without price tags...I walked in with a $100 gift card and left without buying a single thing. That is incredibly rare for me as someone who loves all the TJX stores. Whoever is managing this store really needs to get some new employees or ones that actually know how to keep the store clean and organized. It wasn't even enjoyable to shop! read more

My go to!!!! I don't care what I need I stop here first. Shoes, an outfit, home goods, a gift, they have it all. The secret is you have to be willing to search and be patient. I will admit I have never run in and run out with something, i take my time and go through the racks, the clearance, the sale items, the bargain items. My wallet and I get into arguments in this store because even though there are bargains galore, I can't buy everything I want. I haven't tried layaway here yet but I think I will over the summer. A setback I didn't like was the downsizing of the baby dept. Pretty sure it was due to lack of demand but now the selection is too small. I will admit I shop here mostly for me than my kids but the 5 onesies for $10 is a steal. The home goods section has made its debut and I love it! 3 or 4 times I have wished I brought a U-haul because the chairs they have are sooo delicious. So chic and they totes belong in my bedroom. The knick knacks are adorable and this is easily my fav stop for candles. I get more compliments for the purses and hand bags I buy from here than anywhere else. read more

By this time, you all should know that the best deals are to be found in ....yep your local Marshall's or Tj Maxx. This is one of the nicest Marshall's in the Boston area. And people, you know, this is Marshall's, noone is gona "assist" you. If you want assistance go to Macy's or Saks. The people who work here are there to put stuff on the shelves and hangers. They are not there for you to find this shirt in medium. Its a short walk away from North Quincy T Stop, and that walk is totally worth it. This store is clean. The aisles are clear and the aisles are wide!!! You dont have to hit the granny or run over 10 unruly kids, there is enough space for everyone. Although I would recommend avoiding this store on weekends, too many kids running around. This particular store has a killer selection of shoes. Like, Carrie Bradshaw's closet! I always leave with a pair. The purse section is nice too, but check out the shoes first. There is also an amazing selection of home goods, the other time I got a 600 count Egyptian cotton duvet set with matching pillowcases for a whopping $30. Talk about a bargain. They have amazing greeting cards set and pretty stationary. And picture frames. And every possible kitchen utensil. Banana cutter $3.99, avocado slicer $4.99, funny Mr. Egg egg holder $1.99, Swiss Army water bottle $ 6.99 - whats not to love. They are also starting to expand on their tech area, computer mouse $9.99 (best buy price $27.99), iphone covers 2 for $9.99 ( best buy price $21.99), cute headphones, chill mats for laptops, laptop covers, you name it, they've got it. Clothes - same as other Marshalls, but this particular store carries a lot of "ghetto" clothing, Fubu, Apple Bottoms, coogi, etc. So, come all, come thugs, get your fashion on and buy a spatula. read more

Candles, makeup, and k cups these are a few of my favorite things. I am lucky to live close to this amazing Marshalls. I adore wandering the aisles. They have a great variety of items. I would have given this Marshalls a better rating, however... ...I now know that the management there sees a young black girl buying a couple hundred dollars worth of shoes (in early fall) as very suspicious. The young girl checking me out was nice and pleasant. I was not sure why not one but TWO supervisors had to come and watch the sale, as the line grew very long. It was obvious that they thought I switched price tags. Because finding good deals on brand name shoes is not suppose to happen at Marshalls. Maybe if you were more diligent with the pricing gun, you know, maybe not use the same sku for different shoes, then you wouldn't blame paying customers for, you know, shopping. Moral of the story: 1- Don't spend a lot off time looking at shoes at this Marshalls (because women NEVER do that) 2- Assume that they will blame their lack of training employees on you and accuse you of trying to run some scam 3- Don't try to spend 3 figures 4- Don't shop while being Black Never again. Well... Maybe I will just return items from other Marshalls there. Take your bottom line and shove it. read more

Out of all the Marshalls stores in the Boston area, I have to say that this one is the most organized, well stocked one. I know that most stores are getting the same types of merchandise, but it seems like the Quincy store gets more varieties of the clothing, shoes, and housewares. This store has an excellent shoe department as well as a nice handbag department. The store was remodeled about a year ago and the changes made the shopping experience even better. No matter when I am there shopping, it has not gotten so busy or crowded like other Marshalls stores downtown. It is a nice, quiet store to shop in. I have found the staff to be very nice and helpful, even the people who work at the return desk!! I do not think I have ever left a Marshalls empty handed. This store gets so much great merchandise, it is hard not to fill up a cart!! read more

I love this place! I can literary walk from my house to here, but I prefer driving since I'm a lazy person. Shoe selections is a major plus. One of the most organize Marshall I've been t0o. I never really look into their clothes since they don't carry much brand, but I do love their cosmetic/bath aisles ; juicy, H2O,chi!! someone kill me now!! Don't expect much from service because most of the time you can't track down any workers to help you. Its either you find it yourself or go to the front to ask someone to help you. I don't know if you guys ever go to the food section, but I'm scared to get any since I don't know weather its still good or not (I know there's an expiration date , but still.) Whenever my bf go with me he always stay in the car because I tend to get carry away shopping and spend around 2 hours and just come out with like 2 items. Parking is ideal since they have a huge parking lot and it's right on the highway so you can't get lost. I come here about four times a month or whenever I have time and really need something. I did had trouble once when I bought a juicy shampoo and they couldn't find the price, it took them around 20 min to finally find it. They were nice about it and keep on apologizing, plus they gave me a free drink. 5 star FTW! read more

Shoes! There is now a nice shoe department here. This isn't a run of the mill Marshalls shoe mess. It is a department with display shoes and shoes in boxes. It doesn't make me dizzy going through the shoes here. I tended to avoid this Marshalls before because it seemed so bleak and the one in Braintree had a great shoe department but now, I can come to this one again. If I want bleak and overwhelmed, I will go into Ocean State Job Lot next door. read more

This Marshall's always has the best selection of home goods and purses!!! I always seem to find my new purse here for the next season and it helps that it' s right next to Ocean State Job Lot! I always go to this Marshall's since I live close by. They have a good selection of nail polishes at cheap prices. Once in awhile I'll find a good deal in the clothing aisle, but it is a little messy. If you look around enough, you can come away with some good deals. It just takes a bit of looking, but that's just how it is with discount stores like this! read more

Marshalls 141 Newport Ave Quincy Ma 02170 Store Manager Amanda( I was refused her last name when asked) The store manager was very rude and loud with me when asked if I could take several items off that I had on a Layaway and put them back on. I went in to pick up a Layaway that was due and explained my situation to the manager that I did not have enough money to get all the items off, and if I could take some items off enough items so that I could pay for the Layaway with the amount of money that I did have and put the items that I took off back on Layaway so my kids could have these items that they needed. Her exact words in a loud stern voice was ABSOLUTELY NOT!! and just walked away. I was so embarrassed and felt like crying because there were other customers in the Layaway line who witnessed her do this and yell at me like I was trash. I've seen them accomedate other costomers several times Before when they need to extend a Layaway or take something off and let then put it back on Layaway. Or maybe because I wasn't the same skin color as her that she treated me like trash and with no respect. i will never shop at this Marshalls again and this store Manager could benefit from a Customer service training / sensitivity class. so. much. stuff. located in what i like to call "the shopping center that i should not go to" this is a pretty decent marshalls. it is located right off newport ave and nearly equidistant between the north quincy and wollaston stops on the redline. help inside the store is virtually nonexistent. unless you're at the register, don't even bother to look for assistance. it isn't there. good, easy return policy which, due to my problem, i've had to utilize more than once. now, my problem. regardless of actual need, i can't seem to walk out of this place without spending money. "oh, a fleece jacket? yes. i know i have 3 already, but it's a columbia and only $20." "nice tie. yes. i know i have 60 (not a joke). no. i don't know what suit i would possibly wear this with (also not a joke). but it's only $15. ooh. here's another one." "baseball mitt? yes. i know i don't play. but, someday ...." now that they've expanded their shoe department, i'm really in a spot of trouble. throw in the ocean state job lot next door, and i drop dough. this whole area is officially cut off in the '09. it's my resolution. unless, of course, marshalls gets one of those lovely 100% cashmere topcoats in my size again. i'm not letting it go this year. too fly. at any rate, marshalls does offer some good deals if you happen to need clothes, shoes, housewares, linens and the like. they also usually have some electronic items or accessories but the one thing like that i bought (a black & decker flashlight/radio combination) $hit the bed pretty quickly after first use, so i'd avoid that. i see it's primarily the ladies who have written reviews, but for the gentlemen marshalls usually has a good selection of dress shirts at discounted prices. sometimes, your size might actually be in the correctly marked area. generally, i just check the drawers underneath the display as fewer paws have been through there. you do, however, have to be careful of brand (nautica is getting a little blousey lately). and i tend to avoid the shirt-and-tie-in-a-box combos, but maybe that's your thing. for the thug in you marshalls carries a good supply of xxxxl rocawear/sean jean/fubu and will sell it to you even if you're an xxxxs person. i have even seen a coogi. i almost bought it (so you see how i have a problem). people who have graduated high school can sift through the somewhat disorganized selection of casual wear, sweaters, briefcases, hats/gloves and little bits of kitch you don't need and will never use. it's all here. just for you. unless it's that cashmere coat in a size 38r. that's. mine. read more

Steven by Steve Madden oxford peep toes for $20! Um, yes please.

You know I love a bargain. So the idea of buying name brand items for a clearance price is right up my alley! Like a lot of other yelpers mentioned, the shoe section is delightful, and well stocked. While I am a shoe junky, that's not what got me through the doors. I was in dire need of some nude tights. I went to several CVS, Walgreens, and Target but couldn't find anything in my skin tone. I figured I'd try Marshalls and voila. I ended up leaving with tights, dress shorts, and two shirts. Oops! Maybe I should go in with a list next time. ;) read more

Shopped at the Quincy location and the clerk was excellent. I bought a bunch of things and one item didn't have a tag on it. The clerk called someone for a price check. I was hoping they could price the item with something similar like other stores would do. They refused to sell me the item. I was very disappointed considering the amount of money I spent. I had to go somewhere else to find a top to match my outfit. Thanks for the inconvenience Quincy Marshall's. I should have put back all the items that I bought there. read more

Tired of shopping at Marshalls.Theirs clothes are irregulars and discontinued, sure it's a huge saving but not worth it.

Totally hit or miss for me, but I've gotten some good deals (tote bag, sweaters, photo frames, gourmet tea, food containers, etc.) My significant other likes to bargain hunt for Ralph Lauren polo tops. The customer service is decent, the fitting room attendants are really nice (at least, as of late) and they keep the store well-stocked. This place is pretty clean and easy to deal with compared to other Marshalls... sometimes. (Avoid this place on saturday afternoons or friday evenings... it gets kinda messy) I usually feel bad for the people who work at this store. I once watched a woman go down an aisle of shoes and open every top box right after the shoe girl just fixed them, uh... Isn't that what the display shoes are for? (I don't think the official job title is shoe girl tho) or sometimes parents leave their kids by the toys so they can look at clothes and you have to trip over books and hannah montana dolls to use the bathroom. Besides those minor setbacks I usually find what I came for and sometimes some random extras like a wallet or a set of glasses (my last trip I bought pajamas for my little sister, shoes for my girlfriend, a shirt and tie for work and a new pillow all for about $85) I'd rather this store over braintree or downtown just cause it seems like there is so much more here. Overall it's pretty good Marshalls just watch out for those toys on the floor by the bathroom. read more

They open at 10 on a Sunday and that is nice to hear considering some malls are not even open then. I'm an early bird who does not enjoy the shopping. So, I get in and get what I want. Today, for some reason, I felt the need to take my time and go through each narrow but clothing filled aisle to find some summer clothes. I found a cute t-shirt for 7.99 and a really cute/professional/classy skirt for 19.99, I was happy. BAAAAT, their fitting rooms should be CLEANED with CLEANING PRODUCTS. It was yucky in there and there was this creepy little BUG inside the crotch of the nice pants I wanted to try on. Well, let's just say those pants were dropped to the floor prior to me even considering stepping into the pant leg. I hung em back up and put them back on the rack. The bug remained on the crotch, I don't know who tried that pants on before that, but I wouldn't want to be her. They have ample parking and the store is otherwise neat, except for that one pesky bug and dirty fitting rooms. read more

This is a great Marshall's. They often have a great selection of handbags and shoes (and what else is there in life, really?) Also, it's a really good place to get sports jerseys- and not just for Boston teams. The store is usually very clean, which I can't say about other Marshalls stoes that I've been to. Ugh. Had the worst customer experience ever with the cashier. If you guys or girls ever have her, please wait in line to go to another cashier. I believe her name was Rachael, short Asian girl. She didn't make eye contact or ask how was my shopping experience. That's okay though, considering it was busy. But the stupid part was she shoved all my clothes into a small bag. This is not my first time shopping at Marshall's, I know they have the big plastic bags and small plastic bags. Before I could to ask if she could give me the bigger size plastic bags she already ask for the next customer without even saying have a good day before she takes on the next customer .... So I'm like whatever I guess, I'm driving anyways. The moment I stepped out of the store, there was a tear in the bag! The bag was so stuffed that it broke and I had to carry the clothes to my car.
