For people with disabilities (Crohn's desease) be aware that THE STAFF WILL NOT LET YOU USE THE BATHROOM! If you are sue happy, go and see for yourself. I just went out with my dirty pant, sat in it, suffered indignant stares, cleaned and desinfected my car and washed my pants in the sink. When you are on the road in between hotels, that is what you do. To think they are in the HEALTH business! Yep, some businesses will benefit from replacing employees with robots or AI... maybe they will take a more humane approach to people with disabilities! read more

Avoid this store. They lost my wife's prescription and are totally useless. Had to go someplace else and pay out of pocket for the medication my wife needs. read more

This CVS Pharmacy is all right. It's 24/7 store and pharmacy. They take long to prepare medications and a couple times, I remember the staff making up excuses to not prepare my grandmother's prescriptions until later in the day to pick up. The issue was not that they didn't have the medication in stock, however, the Rx needed refills. My problem with that is, you cannot fill without refills (unless emergency supply of 3 days with a script) so the technicians were lying but hadn't told us that. Telling the truth to patients is better than telling lies. And if you do not know this, ask the pharmacist for confirmation. It makes things way too complicated and messes up with others' schedules. We came back later that day and it was then, they told us that the prescription was out of refills. It was a complete waste of time. read more

The pharmacists at this location (Beale Street in QUINCY, MA) are rude, unprofessional and extremely unhelpful. I was treated with such disrespect - the lack of courtesy is actually shocking. Absolutely zero rating in customer service - never mind simply being polite. Disgraceful, especially for people who are supposedly medical professionals, and I work in healthcare. DO NOT SHOP THERE. I shared these comments face to face with the Operations Manager there. I will never shop there again. read more

On 12/10/2024 I received a 40% of coupon on any item in the store that was not on sale. As you many know, anything with a yellow tag is on sale, which makes 98% of the store on sale--usually at a higher price ultimately than any other store. I found a Norelco razor for about $60 after finding nothing else that wasn't on sale. I eventually took it home for $34 and later found that you can buy directly from Norelco for the list price of $33. So much for another 'bargain' at the wildly obtuse and overpriced deals at CVS. read more

Wish it had a zero star option! Well stocked actually very well i can get hummus , organic milk, bandaids , makeup , vitamins ! You get the idea ! What you will NOT find are people . CVS Pharmacy - There's a deal ! - Drugstores Near Me - Wollaston, Massachusetts

I have an account with CVS, but I lost my CVS card and I have changed my address, phone number. I went to this CVS at 42 Beale St, Wollaston, MA 02170 to update my information, I and wanted to get a new CVS card today, March 23, 2025, around 11:20 AM. The old employee, who was wearing a headscarf, with a nasty attitude, told me she could not give me a CVS card. I asked to speak to someone who could help me. She then spoke to her manager who was right next to her. While they were talking, another customer came in, the manager said she had to take care of her customer first! (even though I was there waiting to be helped, before that customer). They discriminated against me, and they don't welcome me here to shop, to have CVS membership card. I love to shop at CVS, but I won't come back here until they change to be good, helpful, and treat customers fairly. read more

I huge thank you to the young women employee who took my phone call earlier and put an item aside for me to pick up within 30 min was so helpful and so polite and a pleasure to talk with that when I came in, she was most helpful. Her manager should take note that customer service from this exceptional women made CVS proud to have her. I can not stress enough that brick and mortar stores as CVS will shine and prosper well with more employees like her. I will not single out her name, but she knows who I am praising. Lucky to have seen first hand that great customer service still exist. I will hopefully shop more frequently there because of her. Great Job! read more

This is a very late review (at least a few years) about the process of getting a Covid vaccine there, made the online appointment then used my cell phone to check in once inside the store but no where in the store did it indicate where to go, no signs or staff to direct anyone! People were sitting in the pharmacy area so I did that yet some other customer lied to me and said I had to check in so I walked to the pharmacy counter but they had no idea if I had to check in so I sat back down next to the same misinformed guy who then was called before me to get his vaccine even though I was there first before him! read more

If I could, I would give a Zero, not a star. The staffs in the pharmacy section are unhappy people. My doctor tried to send my prescription, no one picked up the phone, so she left a detailed message. I called the pharmacy too, can only leave a message as well. When I reached the pharmacy, the person managing the pharmacy section (according to him) demanded my doctor to call again. While I was standing in front of him, my doctor called again, but their phone did not ring and only gone to the message. So my doctor asked me if either they can call her directly. But he refused to do that in very unpleasant manner. So my doctor had to call other CVS locations to place my order. If you other options, don't go to this location, very horrible service manners, free the top down. read more

Not a bad CVS location. They just did their beauty department over and it is much bigger now and there is a more extensive range of cosmetic brands available which is cool. The last few times I've shopped their beauty department they've had a small table with travel size skin care items that they have been offering as samples so I usually grab one to take home and try. Always fun to try a new product! I have had prescriptions filled at the pharmacy end of the store and the help there is always very efficient. The only problem I really have with this location is that 95 percent of the time only one of their coupon machines is in working order and sometimes every single one of them is not working. And there are 3 or 4 machines in the store so they need to either fix what they have or get new machines because this has been ongoing for a few months now. But getting back to the good stuff, the store is always well stocked, the shelves are always well organized and I never have a problem finding what I came for. The clerks at the front registers are always great and they move pretty fast so there is never a long wait for service. read more

Pros- this CVS has a solid inventory and nice pharmacy. Cons- Outside of the store it is third world caliber conditions. Just absolutely filthy with cigarette butts everywhere, stained sidewalks, and trash cans overstuffed with garbage. The checkout area is a complete disaster, self checkouts never work, and despite a huge staff there is typically only one cashier dealing with a big line of customers. Impossible to get in and out quickly, always an ordeal/hassle. Bonus- If your looking for a quick trip to the hospital or morgue just walk through the parking lot--cars fly through at high speed, enter through exits, exit through entrances, and drive the wrong way despite large arrows that should help them know which direction to travel in. read more

I have one star because I at least have to choose one star. If I can have negative stars, I will. This store is messy! And the people work here both in the store and the pharmacy are Not professional! Slow bad service, always ask you to wait 15 min and more 15 min and again 15 min. The talk skinny thin hair girl in the pharmacy is annoying! This place deserves close and bankrupt read more

Always a hassle checking out here! They try to force "self check out" here.....I'm not an employee! I want someone to wait on me! My last visit here Barb was overwhelmed manning the "self check outs" that were not taking cash or credit! She was visibly unhappy with the 10 people waiting in line! Wake up CVS! We're not employees, we shouldn't be checking ourselves out. Stop cheaping out....employ people to run the registers!! read more

The management here needs to be RE trained. The customer service is off by miles. I called to check to see if my online photos are ready, Nicole said "no" without providing any reasons. I asked when is it ready, she said it takes 10mins to receive the order and hung up without saying anything. I sent in the photos 1 hour ago. Positive employees are not found to here at this cvs read more

When I stopped by CVS this week, they had no staff at the registers at the front of the store so they could force customers to use the self check out. Even though I hate self check outs, I tried to use it, but it could not process my CVS "Green Bag Tag". (A store card that gives you points for bringing reusable bags to the store, and issues $1 off coupons for every 4 times you use the card.) So, I ended up walking to the back of the store (near the pharmacy) and waiting in a line to check out there. Seriously CVS, please stop pushing the self check out option or fix the machines so it will process your promotions correctly! read more

The self check out line seems to be working on and off. Most of the time, you might have 1 or 2 that is working properly. They got signs at most self checkouts at times saying the receipt doesn't print. It doesn't matter to me since I rather scan myself and make the payment and leave then deal with rude cashiers. If you go there enough times, it is easy to figure out who got the attitude. Yes, I understand customer service is hard. I have worked in customer service before. The cashiers that had been working there forever are the worst. They have a condescending tone when speaking to customers. Being nice to the customers doesn't hurt the business. The pharmacy staff at this location are nice and they don't have condescending tone toward customers. They don't have a self check out from their ends. They deal with long lines and a lot more questions compared to the front cashiers. To the front end cashiers (you know who you're) stop talking down to customers. You work there long enough to know better. read more

Okay, so I don't usually write reviews of CVS, but this one near my condo is BIG!!! It has the largest selection of greeting cards I've ever seen at a CVS. I even took photos of it for yelp so you can see what I mean. There is like 3 rows of selection for greeting cards alone. It's open 24 hours with a pharmacy, which is great. They have pretty much everything but also a good selection of picture frames, which is rather impressive. Yea, CVS! read more

Pros: Accessible by the Yankee shuttle bus replacing the red line to Wollaston, friendly cashiers and self-serve people, good choice of food! Cons: High prices, only one cashier is working there whenever I am there, one entrance to the store is always closed or being worked on, never seem to have enough hand carts but do have enough carriages! Overall, this is an ok store to shop at regardless of the cons mentioned! read more

When my husband went to pick up his prescription, another customer was impatient and stood with my husband at the area where the pharmacy technician was getting his prescription! My one star is for the people in the actual store part. The pharmacy gets NO stars. I went in once late at night because I get home from work about 11pm. They had me wait for my med only to come back 10 minutes later and said that I didn't have any more refills. I was tired so went home. I went in the next day to see what they could do about getting me my med as I NEED it. They said there was no reason I couldn't have it. Then yesterday I went and picked up two medications. First I stood there five minutes without be acknowledged. I was asked, "Do you have any questions for the pharmacist?" When I said, "Yes. Is this stuff tough on the stomach. I have an digestive disorder." she said, "I don't know. You can read the attached paper." Seriously??? read more

One of the not so spacious pharmacies that I have been to for the CVS brand here in Quincy. They are quite busy most of the time due to the proximity to Wollaston train station. Here are some of the key things about this store: - 2 convenient entrances help parking easier on a busy day - the parking lot is private but not too big. In a semi strip mall across, shared with the liquor store. - probably the one cvs store in Quincy which is almost always well stocked in majority of the aisles - pharmacy is near the entrance next to Beale street - pharmacy is 24x7 and has a minute clinic too - no drive through pharmacy like the one on southern artery and Quincy shore drive - cvs branded products are tough to find at this store. All in all - cannot complain. Good store. Fun shopping for meds and other essentials. read more

I really enjoy going to this CVS. Not only is it convenient - right across the street from Wollaston Station... it's open 24 hours. I always get excited about anything open 24 hours..seeing that most stores close the latest 11pm. It's a spacious store, you don't feel cramped going through the aisles. Great selection of food products, random nick knacks for the home, holidays, and events. The CVS employees are very friendly as well. Yay for this CVS location! read more

This is a very large CVS and I like it ok when I am here to buy the usual drug store things or OTC meds, but I also get my prescriptions here, and that is where my complaints begin. Whenever I have to pick up a prescription here, it is NEVER ready when they say it will be. Even if my doctor called it in over an hour before, or if I dropped it off and they said it would be ready at a certain time, when I go up to the counter to get my prescription it is NEVER ready, and I always have to wait at least an extra 15 minutes. There have been times when my doctor faxed my prescription over, and by the time I got there an hour later, they hadn't even checked the fax machine. This isn't a huge deal, but it is annoying, especially when I have my 2 year old son with me. It looks like there are always about 10 people working behind the pharmacy counter so I don't know what the slow-ness is about. read more

This is my local CVS, so I'm here a lot, but it's really the pharmacy I'm here to talk about. My doctors office was out of flu shots and she told me to hit any pharmacy. I was here on a lunch break one day when I was working from home and the process was painless - fill out a form, wait a few minutes for them to process form and ring me up (still need to be run up even though insurance covers it), then another few minutes before someone found me in the waiting area to get my shot. They also give a 20% off coupon to use on one item as a reward for getting a flu shot there, which is a nice touch. I would still prefer to get my flu shot at the doctors office (because it's one stop shopping - annual checkup and flu shot all at once), but I'd go here again and recommend it to other for the convenience. read more

I LOVE CVS . I could spend all day there. The Staff all know me . The Pharmacy is the best. Especially RPH Kahra A. Lutkiewicz . She is so helpful, jumps through hoops to help you with Insurance Problems . Also, she is so sweet, always :) 's The rest of the staff - one are so polite and helpful. The one who isn't acts like she hates her job . She never smiles and she is ALWAYS rude to me and everyone else. But as for every other single person staff member at CVS they are awesome :) read more

Good size store and it's open 24 hours, but it has by far the WORST pharmacy counter I've ever had to deal with. I can't remember ever going into this place, giving my name and getting my prescription without there being some sort of issue. I dread going here for my monthly refill (which is automatic so even more reason to be annoyed). It's just never a smooth process and everyone behind the counter seems so frazzled while a majority of the people waiting in line appear to be major crackheads or can't speak English. When I walk into this place I know I am going to be annoyed within a matter of seconds. Just now I called to make sure my automatic refill prescription was ready and was told that they're "working on it" and won't know if it's ready for another hour. What the??? Can't the computer system indicate when the prescription would be ready? read more

This is my main CVS. After coming here for several years, the only thing I can really say is that the experience really depends on who is working. The younger employees are extremely courteous and helpful. Yup, I'm that crazy coupon lady who screws up the self checkout machines or coupon centers because I simply have too many coupons. I never gyp CVS - I ensure I have the appropriate coupons in order so i don't hold up the checkout area. Anyways, if something goes wrong, USUALLY the older folks get really pissed off and think I'm scamming the place! They don't let me use some coupons even though they are valid. Honestly, I dont even care if it's a couple of bucks, but it really adds up over time. Also, as someone else has specified, the pharmacy does not check IDs when picking up. I really do love how this is a 24/7 CVS though. The card section is amazing compared to most drug stores. Also, for the other bargain hunters, there are two coupon centers! You know how they usually run out of paper when you go up to them? Yeah, I know that feel! There's four self checkout machines as well as a cashier, so your wait time won't be long. read more

I just moved here from New York, i used to love going to CVS for mostly everything since it was so easy to find things and the pharmacy back home would know the store by heart. Was suprised to see a pharmacy with 5 different people and not one familiar with the store. I was looking for unscented cream that could be used anywhere in the body, they sent me to aisle 2 which was all face cream. When i took it upon myself to search carefully and read each one by one I couldn't help to notice the same employees walking back and forth. I was thinking they were going to help but it seemed that they already assumed I was trying to steal something. I've never been so poorly treated at a CVS let alone racially profiled and pegged as a shop lifter. Probably better to go to Wal-Mart which is the same distance from be but in a different direction. read more

I don't know why all the reviews think this CVS isn't great. I've never had a problem here whether it was picking up a prescription or using self checkout. The pharmacy staff and team members seem to work hard and are always friendly when I come in. read more

I want the regular CVS back instead of the makeshift Sephora they have turned it into!!!! The music is blaring and it is a over run with beauty products and as a result, the items you want at CVS are reduced to fewer choices in half the store! Horrible!!!! The stock people are pretty nice. The pharmacy is a DISASTER. Slow, unprofessional, and unresponsive. Can't seem to locate my RX when the doctors faxes it in. Amateur hour. No wonder it's 24 hours, as slow and as inefficient as they are there, they need it! read more

Shouldn't you be IDed when filling a prescription? Didn't get IDed by the person I was dropping it off to or the person I was picking it up from when I was in there yesterday. After they called my name literally anyone could have went and grabbed it. No wonder Quincy has such a drug problem if pharmacies in the area are run this irresponsibly... The staff in the rest of the store are always helpful and friendly. The store is always clean and organized. It's a good location so I will be back however I definitely won't be using this pharmacy next time I'm sick. read more

This place is alright. I've been going here for 20+ years and it has what you need. The excess amounts of garbage in the walkways and parking lot can be a concern.
