Fun place to shop! Lots of cute items and interesting finds. It was very busy but the line moved pretty quickly. Great to find seasonal decor! The clothes looked nice too!

Perhaps it is just this location, but this has been the worst Marshall's Shopping experience ever. The staff was demeaning and entirely unsupportive. I was browsing through the isles, taking my time, and there was not one instance where I looked over my shoulder and did not find employee eyes watching me. Initially I assumed that they were making sure that I didn't need anything, but by the fifth time I caught the employees staring, I was positive they were watching to make sure I wasn't stealing. Now, I understand the need for security and product protection in an establishment such as this, but what I don't understand is how they can justify two floor associates following, watching, and obviously whispering about a customer. For context, I came in on my day off. I was dressed very much so for a relaxing day lounging at home. Even so, when did wearing loungewear become a sign of impending theft that would illicit the unwelcome and wildly uncomfortable attention from floor staff that I received. I'd also like to mention that I was never approached by either of the employees tailing me. No offers of assistance or pleasantries of any kind, just the deafening silence that would follow any time I walked near them. The cherry on the cake was the incredibly distasteful look that they gave me as I was checking out. If this is how customers are treated, I will gladly take my hard earned money and spend it elsewhere. I am very disappointed.

Another week, and another trip to a Marshall's store. I'm amazed at the number of fabulous items that I find at Marshall's. I'm always on the lookout for Crabtree & Evelyn products, and they occasionally show up at this store. I found Somerset Meadow hand cream for $6.99. I found clothing for my son, it is his first year attending school. I have discovered and fallen in love with Lady Jayne creations. I found the most amazing storage box, and it was only $7.99. As usual, I bought too much, but I can return some goodies if necessary.

I also sometimes meet up with friends or family or even head there on my own. There's something for everyone and plenty to see and do; however, some of my favorite stores and restaurants have closed and been replaced over the years. It also happens to be where my wife and I had our first date! The Biltmore Fashion Park is known for some great restaurants. While there are some upscale and casual restaurants there, my favorites include Seasons 52 or True Food for a good meal and Frost a Gelato Shoppe for dessert. I really enjoy having several Fox restaurants at the Biltmore. There are also many other restaurants in the area. Several of the restaurants have great happy hours, too. I miss the Crepe Club though several other restaurants have opened since then. There are also plenty of shops from upscale shops to more casual ones like Lululemon and Sakes 5th Avenue. There are fancy clothing stores that my wife may enjoy though I typically enjoy the nice courtyard or seating outside some of the stores while she shops. Then, we grab a bite somewhere together. I miss the Apple Store and Sharper Image but look forward to what is opened next. There are also experiences from the Sip & Stroll (where you can enjoy a beverage from one of six restaurants and then walk around), meet-up with the Phoenix Run Club, the Art Walk, the Swiftie Liftie Outdoor Workout Class, or one of a number of galas or special events. Find more details on what is coming up at the Biltmore Fashion Park at https://www.reddevelopment.com/biltmore-fashion-park/events. While stores and restaurant hours may vary, the hours are typically 10 AM to 8 PM daily except for Sundays from 12 Noon to 6 PM. There is plenty of free parking around the Biltmore Fashion Park along with valet options. You can read more about the Biltmore Fashion Park at https://www.reddevelopment.com/biltmore-fashion-park/visit. There is also a mall map on there along with a listing of activities and experiences with events.

Every now and then, I find myself at a Saks Fifth Avenue for a quick gift at the Biltmore location or on their website. While they have a great variety of items, the prices are quick high, though there are occasional promotions on their website or through e-mails that are sent out. The staff have been helpful and always answered our questions and helped us on each visit. This is the only Saks Fifth Avenue store I have been to, though I have enjoyed the occasional visit to Saks OFF 5th stores in the past, too. Saks Fifth Avenue is considered the "premier destination for luxury fashion, driven by a mission to help customers express themselves through relevant and inspiring style." The have been around since 1924 and focus on an approach that combines a focus on the digital customer experience with a strong connection to a network of 40+ stores across North America for seamless, all-channel shopping. Eight of these stores will closing soon. This location is the only Saks Fifth Avenue location in Arizona. Recently as a part of their bankruptcy process, Saks decided to close its only Saks Fifth Avenue and all of the Saks OFF 5th stores in Arizona along with most of their OFF 5th locations (and Nieman Marcus Last Call stores) and 7 other Saks Fifth Avenue locations around the country while continuing to function otherwise as a company. Their website (https://www.saksfifthavenue.com) has regular priced and sales/clearance priced items, and if you sign up for their e-mail list, you can get 10% off your next purchase. There are also promotions like the Designer Sale of up to 70% off, earning $50-500 gift card with purchase, and free shipping with $300+ purchase. Recently, the bankruptcy process has been of particular interest to those American Express Platinum card holders, as they get $50 credit for purchases at Saks Fifth Avenue stores every six months, and if they purchase physical gift cards in the store, they can get the credit back that way, and the gift cards can be used at Saks Fifth Avenue or OFF 5th locations or online.

I did see a young security uniform guy outside on his phone . Many aisles of items are locked up, even hair barrettes and hair brushes. I went in to get Tums, ( not locked up) since I had an hour long stomach ache. The Walmart "equate " brand in 4 flavor choices was $2.50.... and I need eye itch drops as my allergies have made eyes sore, hurting and feel like they're on fire. The (locked up) equate eye drops were $5 instead of Pataday for $14-20 I hope they work cuz my eyes hurt so much. But while I was looking in the locked cases deciding on the eye drop choices, an employee approached me asking if I needed anything in the case! So that wasa wonderful experience for me and my eyes of fire. He told me he'd leave the drips at the cosmetics cashier, and I agreed. I to my tums & fiery eyes to Cosmetics so I could pay, then eat a couple Tums. I shopped in cosmetics then shopped thru clothes and I found a sun hat and some flowy beach pants I want to get for my trip. In my experience, Walmart failed to act fairly or ethically when issues were brought forward. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns in a neutral and professional manner, I was subjected to what felt like ongoing harassment, selective enforcement of policies, and targeted treatment that appeared retaliatory in nature. Processes that should have been objective were handled inconsistently, and I was repeatedly put in situations that created unnecessary stress and pressure. What was most concerning was the apparent lack of accountability and transparency. Policies were applied unevenly, communication was unclear or misleading, and there was little opportunity for good-faith resolution. Rather than de-escalating the situation, Walmart's approach intensified it, leaving me feeling singled out rather than supported. Based on my experience, Walmart's corporate culture prioritizes protecting itself over treating people fairly. I would strongly caution others--whether customers or employees--to document everything, understand their rights, and proceed carefully when dealing with Walmart's management or internal processes. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion, and I hope Walmart takes accountability and makes meaningful changes to how it treats individuals who speak up.
