So I had my dad's 95th bday party on 11/29 at a VFW in Sunnyslope. I had ordered lots of balloons for the party to pick up the morning of a few days prior. The store manager, Cristal was a doll!! She knew I was a little nervous that they needed to be ready when I asked, she gave me her personal cell in case I needed to reach her! That's SERVICE!!! And EVERYONE should know by now that Dollar Tree is THE BEST place to buy Mylar balloons & ALL kinds of party goods and so much more for soo little money!! My dad's party was a SUCCESS!! While the majority of the Dollar Tree stores carry the same items, this one is a little larger and always has a few things i haven't seen at the store closer to my home. What is so noticeable (and outstanding) is the customer service in this store. They layout is different and maybe I just wander around looking confused, but the last few times I was in, employees not only offered assistance but insisted on actually taking me to the items even though I only asked for the aisle or approximate location. I'm sorry I didn't get the gentleman's name who actually hunted down the item I was looking for when it wasn't in the usual location. Dollar tree is a good place for disposable items and party supplies. Everything is $1.25 or thereabouts. Calendars 1.25. All occasion cards are $1.25 or 2/$1.00. They have some fun food items and smaller sizes. Reading glasses. Drinking glasses and serve ware. Storage items and more. It's my go to for a quick party need. read more

DT is larger than average with an excellent selection. I bought ear buds and a data transfer wire for only a few dollars. Service was fast. There were some obnoxious, rude customers but that's not the stores fault. read more

I love Saving Money! And I LOVE this location Dollar Store! It's always so nicely displayed, clean and I find things to DYI and improve my home! This trip I was getting containers to redo my pantry and saw a great DYI on Pinterest using Dollar Store goodies! Upon this visit we are in a pandemic and folks are a bit uneasy. I was so impressed with one employee that Shined like a Diamond with all that she encountered! She genuinely and warmly greeted folks as they entered, was super personable while ringing folks out, and just made me smile to see someone so eager to help and be genuinely Friendly!! Tinika was Outstanding!! While she was ringing me I was praising her for her wonderful customer service and everyone in the line agreed!! All chiming in how sweet she was and what a pleasure it was to encounter an employee that made you so happy you stopped in to shop!! Well Done Tinika and Dollar Store!! I live in the neighborhood close to this store so I shop here. The store has great inventory and obviously great prices. There are 2 types of employees (mentioned in other reviews). There are friendly, helpful ones. And then there are the ones that play games, usually with the neighborhood residents, perhaps older educated ones such as myself. They let you wait at the checkout for 5-10 minutes while they chat with other employees 10 feet away. When they finally attend to you, they tell you to bring your items to a different lane. Once you are there, they engage in ingratiating behavior. This good cop-bad cop behavior by some employees is unfortunate because the store is a great place to shop otherwise. Too bad, there are small minded people who get a charge out of acting like this towards customers. read more

It may seem a little weird to write a review about the Dollar Tree, but this location is awesome! I have been to a few location and they are generally run down, the people aren't the nicest, and they have poor inventory. This location though is amazing! The workers are really nice, the store is always clean and they have a plethora of thing I want to buy. Today, I had to stop myself from doing a crazy shopping spree. I love to go to the Dollar Tree to buy decorations. Walmart and Target are good options too, but are more expensive. While I don't buy ornaments and lights at the Dollar Tree, this is a great place to buy garland, signs for your front yard, and simple decorations for your house that look great, not cheap. Another plus is that they have cute decorations for a lot of holidays, not just Christmas. I buy Valentines Day, Easter, and 4th of July decorations there as well. Anyway, if you are in the area around a holiday and would like an inexpensive way to decorate your home, please check this place out! read more

Haden is the only one who was actually working while the other two girls were blabbing away. Haden was greeting customers, stocking the shelves, and ringing up customers. Those two ladies that were talking to i think the delivery man could use a few tips from Haden on how to be professional at the workplace. This happened yesterday in the afternoon. read more

A worker was standing at the front door mumbling stuff under their breath complaining about putting items away. Didn't get greeted by them or the other employees I saw in the store. The pretty black lady with purple in her hair didn't say hi to me at the counter. Another lady and myself started walking around the store looking for someone to cash us out actually then she came up and sighed super loudly making us feel guilty. Then I had all my stuff in a basket and she's like well I can't deal with all that and as I'm trying to take the stuff out of the basket for her she grabs it and takes out two of my non carbonated drinks leaves in my other two carbonated drinks along with the other 16 items I had and dumps them out onto the counter. I could of had breakable stuff in my basket. Only reason why I am giving an extra star is because after her coworker was done talking to her she told me to have a nice day. I usually go to the one on 7th st and dunlap and as terrible of a location that one is, they are always extremely friendly and make you feel welcomed and will help you find anything you are looking for. read more

I am absolutely shocked how I was treated by one of the staff member named Gabriel today!!! He was extremely rude and disrespectful. To begin with, Im a returning customer who goes there every single day with exactly the same bag for more than a year cause I work as a chef at the restaurant right next to this store. So as usual I came in to pick up few things and Gabriel rudely pointed ON THE FLOOR next to the window and tons of goods for sale telling to leave my bag there (and this is during pandemic by the way!!!!) and he was lying to me telling that it was the store policy cause I go to this particular store with this particular bag basically every day there. Moreover there is NO signs inside or outside that wearing bags is prohibited and even if it was it would be a special locker and a key offered to protect my belongings!!!!!!!!! I had my phone, my wallet and pills there and he did not let me to take it while Im there!!!!! He treated me like a thief with absolutely NO reason and Never apologized for his inadequate behavior!!! Im a respected member of community with 2 bachelor degrees, no criminal background, Im a fingerprint card holder and had never EVER stolen anything from anyone!!! It's SO insulting to be treated like that just for wearing type of cloth Gabriel doesn't like and THIS IS MY RIGHT as a free American citizen! Something needs to be done to fix this rudeness and disrespect! As for me I will never go to this location again cause it really hurt my feelings. read more

This is the best Dollar Tree Store in Phoenix. It's organized and there are never a lot of boxes sitting all over the store to be opened & stocked. They seem to get new merchandise often and get it out. The staff is always friendly & helpful. read more

I love this location. The aisles are wide enough for 2 people to be in, unlike other locations, and it's very clean and organized. The staff are super friendly. They have great products, for $1! How can you go wrong?! read more
