This is a great place to go for discount new items. I got compression socks 4 pair for $5 and they have not gotten any holes in them yet. All the ones I have gotten online have gotten holes in them the first wear. People were friendly enough. One word sums this place up nicely: ghetto! The poorly maintained parking lot surrounded by dilapidated buildings was a preview for what I would ultimately be in for. Most of the inventory inside looked like it was just flung onto the shelves. The merchandise actually looked like it was in inferior condition to what you'd find in a Goodwill. At least the bikes, TVs, and furniture appeared to be in decent shape, but overpriced in my opinion. They also have a "warehouse" area in the back that is very visible to the public (with a largely inconspicuous sign indicating "employees only") that looks worse than a junkyard. read more

I've been looking forward to going to this shop ore since my co-worker had on an adorable dress she got from here. First, it's really just like a crappy thrift store. As most folks in Phoenix can contest, the air outside/inside can be pretty dusty and full of allergens/pollutants a lot of the time. I try to clean pretty well and dust/vacuum/change A/C filters on the regular etc. My house is still a bit stuffy though and I encounter the random sneezes. WTF does that have to do with a review for Liquidators Discount Center? I came down here specifically looking for an air purifier for my house. I drove down, parked in the lot and walked inside. This place is pretty large! It had a lot of stuff inside of it, and it was all pretty much super random. Not as random of shit grouped together as say, Home Goods, but still a bunch of random stuff everywhere! I browsed the store and actually found a section where they had some air purifiers! The prices looked good, but I didn't pull the trigger on buying one. Reason being, a lot of things were "open box", "returned items", or "gently used". For comparison sake, I saw a few air purifiers that would retail on Amazon for $149.99, but you could get them here for $90.00. Its a pretty significant savings if you knew 100% sure that it was new and worked properly. To their credit, the store has a good return policy, and will let you test out items before you buy. Even then, I got a general idea of what I wanted and will continue to look other places for "new" items. Would I return? Eh...maybe? I'm not in this part of town too often, but I would possibly come back. If you had some time to kill, you could just browse this place and think of it as a treasure hunt! Very unique furniture and house hold items!!! This place makes me feel like I'm hunting for treasure lol. They have tons of random unique things. Anything from Children's items, furniture, clothing, office and school supplies, toys, power wheels, beds, mattresses, desks, office chairs, flooring, tile, letters, the list goes on! I've purchased the majority of my office chairs, desks, and even some tools and tool storage from here. Not all items come perfect and some get damaged by the customers in the store, BUT they are fairly priced. This is the place where you come to search for a big deal. This place used to be in north Phoenix but has now opened it's doors in the West side in Maryvale and a new location opened recently in Mesa. From what I could gather they have returns from all sorts of stores including Home Depot, Costco etc. They have a little bit of everything and like many discount stores get it while it's hot cuz if you have to think about it, it might not be there when you come back. I recently purchased a 27" Samsung monitor price $180 and they had a 20% sale going on so I paid around $140 not bad for something that retails $365. Now that's the good news, the bad news is that stuff is here for a reason. Take my monitor, even though I tested it at the store and it appeared to have new packaging when I got it home and was using it I noticed that it 'flickers.' Since they have a 2 week return policy I was worried and checked the monitor's online reviews. It appears it's a common issue since there were many people with the same problem. I started to get worried so I contacted Samsung and to my surprise since the monitor was manufacturer 4 months ago and it's still under warranty so they were going to fix it for me. At this point I'm waiting to get it back and have my fingers crossed all goes well. Even with my experience above I still think this store has some great deals but you have to be diligent in checking what you are buying since they only give in-store credits within 2 weeks of purchase. UPDATE: I received my 27" monitor back from the manufacturer (Samsung) FIXED AND I didn't have to pay a dime out of pocket WOOHOO! They also added another 3 months to my 1 yr warranty so basically my gamble paid off and I'm still a fan of this place. :) read more

Hmm... Not impressed. I've been to garage sales that were better. The packing on many items was badly damaged. Making you question the condition of the product inside. At a liquidation stores I expect items to be 50% or more off. Not here. A lot of products were priced very near full retail. And in some cases above online prices. Some of the cheap stuff I was looking for I expected to pay $1 for were priced at $7. I'd rather shop WalMart than here. PS - They appear to practice bait and switch... advertising a. few products very cheap. But this in no way is a reflection of pricing throughout the store. read more

I love this place. The best part is the thrill of the hunt! The browsing and looking through everything is a very relaxing thing for me. The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because I have noticed a few items such as power tools and some saws/sanders are the same if not barely lower than they are in the store brand new. I love this place, almost hate to leave a review because me and my daughters want to keep this place our secret. We get great deals here on kitchen items, furniture, vacuums, food, etc. I got a beautiful sectional sofa that I had seen at Costco, it was here new in the box, I saved $$$. Also got a dining room table with 8 chairs also from Costco. The people at the store are helpful when needed. It appears that they get items that were returned or overstock, out of date from Costco, Home Depot, Amazon and I am sure many other stores. Many items are brand new, others gently used or minor damage or missing pieces (like a set of dishes may be missing a plate or two.) Take a hard look at everything before you buy. Great place to look if you are looking to update your home with new light fixtures, faucets, etc. I got a new Hunter ceiling fan for cheap because it had a broken glass globe which can easily be replaced.
